I bought a new iPhone 4S and it seems that it misses the FaceTime functionality. I googled alot and all the solutions didn't fit my scenario, it doesn't appear anywhere, not in settings, not in Settings -> Phone, not in Settings -> General -> Restrictions and not in the contacts.I even checked in which country this phone should be in to make sure it's not for countries that doens't allow FaceTime at all and I saw that it was intended to be used in North America so this is not the case.

Is there an option to change the amount of icons that appear on your home screen on the BB Bold? I have one row of six icons on the home screen, and would like to add another row of favorite icons to my home screen.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have about 5 screens, with the middle one set as a home screen. I've set in google play app to put a shortcut of new apps to home screen, but it actually add them to the very left one. The same is happening when trying to create a shortcut for contact - pin to home screen and I find them all on the very left screen instead.
Double-press of home button takes me correctly to my home screen...
I have had my nokia 5230 for about a week now and everytime I would receive a message it would pop up on the home screen that I had received a message and it would tell the name and number. All of a sudden it stopped doing that and now only the menu button flashes when I recieve a message how can i change it back?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI went into the settings->call settings->voicemail settings and changed the voicemail number to be *86,,0000 (replace 0000 with my actual voicemail pin) so that it would dial, then pause (twice), then send my pin. This works if I use the #1 speed dial shortcut to voicemail, or if I just use my contacts entry for voicemail.
It doesn't work if I use the voicemail app shortcut that is on the home screen. Does anyone know a way to get that voicemail app shortcut on the home screen to use the voicemail settings?
I'm using iPhone 5s, I can't see face time in my settings
View 4 Replies View RelatedAn iphone 4s without facetime! I bought an iphone 4s from a retailer, i found out that the iphone 4s was originally came from UAE with a carrier etisalat. so called etisalat and i was informed by the Representive that the facetime was really banned in the country and was remove with the IOS 5.0.1 as defualt but they also verified that the iphone is factory unlocked, then i was advised that all i need to do is to restore the my iphone and i will have my facetime back since it is not banned in this country (Hongkong). so I tried to update my iPhone to iOS 5.1 however facetime setting still missing! check restriction no facetime, check phone setting and theres no facetime activation option. tried to factory reset the phone and choose country and region facetime still not available. So what i did is called apple and i talk to apple care Representative a very rude Agent and loves to Interupt his customers. i was told that whenever i update or restore my iPhone it contact the UAE apple server. and it doesn't make any sense im not in UAE im in Honghong. So i ask the rep. what can we do to make itunes contact hongkong or singapore apple server instead. Apple cannot give me a direct answer. So ask him if it something to with IMEI , Model or Serial Number, and they cannot give a direct answer again..... Come on Apple whats the sense of you releasing a factory Unlock if theres a Restrictions i Know that it the Law of UAE but you should do something About based on the location of the Customer....

View 7 Replies View RelatedIn case you didn't know, Facetime has its own URL, which means that it can be launched from the Home Page, a website, or an email. If you have access to the iPhone Configuration Utility, you can quickly build your own shortcuts (aka Web Clips) and apply them.
Hope that helps instead of going through Contacts > your contact > FaceTime or going to Phone > Recent > etc.

Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

To activate triple-click home. in settings-general-accessibility there is suppose to be a setting for triple-click home. No such settings. what do I need to do so that triple-click home is in settings?
I have spent a lot of time surfing the internet. I can find sites that tell you how to enable it. I have found nothing when looking for anything about the missing setting.Â
I chose basic because I do not see a category for triple-click home would be.Â

My message icon on the main screen "menu" vanished. I can no longer receive messages, and all the messages that I had stored vanished, since the message icon disappeared. I seem however, able to send messages by going to the email, but instead of composing email, i compose sms. However, I never get any replies. The message icon disappeared approximately two weeks ago. I went to the 02 store and the technical assistant took my phone for about 30 minutes, and then gave it back to me, saying he had no idea what had happened. He initially thought it had been "hiden" but it appears to be no where!

I was texting today and my messages app froze. When I tried to open it again, the app stalled at a white screen and froze. When I closed it and reopened it, all of my texts were gone. The app loads but there's just no texts. I can send and receive texts fine, and sending a text doesn't load the previous lost messages just the new ones. I tried restarting my phone 3-4 times and hard resetting it with the power and home buttons. I hard closed the messages app by holding the home button and clicking X. Nothing Loads the texts. If I type anything in spotlight, all the texts come up, but clicking on it takes me to the empty messages app. I need my texts back. I have hundreds of photos, contacts, and important work data in those texts.
restoring my phone from a back up or resetting all data is not an option. My laptop was water damaged in a flood along with any backups. I have thousands of photos on my phone so I will not restore to factory settings. I know the texts are still there because I had well over a GB of texts and since they vanished, no space has been freed up.
