How To Disable Incoming Calls To IPhone Without Having To Put On Airplane
Jun 26, 2014
Is it possible to disable incoming calls to my iPhone without having to put my phone on airplane?. I still want to be able to send texts and use cellular. DND only stops the alert but not the call from coming through.
Everytime I have an incoming call a voice announces that I have a call from an unknown number and the proceeds to inform me to accept please press 1 or press 2 to send it to voicemail. I also get an email from Google Voice that I have a pending voice mail.
I know this is probably a really stupid question but this is the last chance to try and locate my gf's iphone which she has just lost in a taxi somewhere in Hong Kong. As she does not have international roaming she had it set on airplane mode so it's not like she can just call it up and find out if it's been handed in Is there anyway to remotely turn off airplane mode?I realise the automatic response might be 'well if she doesn't have a cellular network, how do you think you could sent anything to the phone even if there was a way to do it" but I'm literally grasping at straws here
I switch to airplane mode and hope to turn off all notifications because there is no connectivity to wi-fi or 3G. It turns out I was wrong, I woke up in the middle of the night to the vibration and beep of my iPhone telling my that all of my planes have landed! But do I really need to know this at 2:00 in the morning? I don't think so! I made sure airplane mode was still on and it was but I was still getting notifications just from that one app. I would like to know how to disable this without having to go into notifications settings, pocket planes, etc.
I realised on my mobile that once i activate airplane mode with the mobile data on, it doesnt disable the mobile data. It is still on while the wifi turns off.
My phone will not make calls, but I can still text just fine. I want to make sure if it's a network issue or if something happened with the phone itself. I have never dropped it and I always have the projective screens/covers.
We've upgraded successfully our two US Moto X Pure Edition devices to Marshmallow yesterday. After upgrade completed, the numbers of calling contact are not being recognized anymore, although these contact exists and saved in android's Contact app, and backed up in Gmail accounts. Also, all incoming and outgoing calls in the call log are not recognized, although they were recognized before the upgrade.
This is very critical for us, since one of the phones is used as a business phone and it's crucial for us to know who's calling.
For the last few days all of my calls are breaking up on incoming and outgoing. At first I thought that it was the other person that I was talking to but after doing many calls, it is my phone. Is there anything I could do to get this problem solved?
I have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at 1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages. It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?
When I talk to someone in the phone I get messages if someone calls. I don't want these messages, I just want the line to be occupied when I already speak to someone.
my iphone 4s does not sound when i have an incoming call, there is no sound at all can somebody tell me what to do?is there a store in buenos aires that can manage this?
Lately I've been getting an echo on my phone. This is with incoming calls only. The echo is my voice and I can hear it quite well. Fido thinks it is the phone or possibly the Sim card.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5, Factory Unlocked, Non Jailbroken
I went into Airplane Mode today using the widget. It turned off my Wifi (but not GPS?) and went into Airplane Mode just fine. Then when using the widget to turn Airplane Mode off I see my Wifi turn back on, but the Airplane Mode isn't removed. The only way I can find to actually take the phone out of Airplane mode is to hold the power button and toggle it from the silent/airplane/power popup.
