I have a Nokia X3 Touch and Type which was purchased in the UK. It does not support unicode Chinese -Simplified. How to install the Chinese languages into my phone so I can receive and write SMS in Chinese?
I bought an X6 last week. I realized later, after signing a contract for 2 years, that the phone doesn't support Chinese or any European languages. It only comes with English and Philipino. If I get a text in Chinese, it won't display...it just displays squares. Nor can I use the keyboard to input Chinese characters.
Nokia won't provide a solution. They won't supply a software upgrade. The dealers privately tell me I would have to take it to a non-authorized repairer to get a software change or try to find some software elsewhere, maybe a torrent file or from some other untrustworthy software source.
is it possible to change the phone's language to arabic? When I check the list in settings--> phone-->language--->phone language there isn't the arabic option. Can I download it from somewhere?
I have the european X6, so it does not natively support the chinese language. However, I read somewhere on this forum that you can install some chinese fonts so at least you can read chinese sms ?

Nokia N86 SMS and Greek language.I have a problem with my Nokia N86 phone. If I select new SMS, remaining characters are 120. When I press the first letter, it goes at 60 chars. While typing Greek Characters, it seems to use double characters. This happened when I installed v30.009 from Vi Suite. If I use English characters there's no problem, but I don't want to use "Greeklish" because I use T9 service.
I need to add French as a display language but don't have it in the list proposed in the smartphone and the BB desktop software doesn't have it as an option in the list either.
I was using BB 9700 previously, running OS 5. When I plugged to the PC, languages and OS will appear under the "applications" in my Desktop Manager. However, it is not so for my new BB 9810 running OS 7. I am unable to amend my input language at my Desktop Manager.

My BlackBerry truly has a mind of its own. The screen will start switching to other menus and applications on it's own, without any touch. When in a screen, it will start scrolling on its own, up and down. When typing, it will randomly change languages or in mid-text it will automatically position itself at the beginning of the text.
