My Map or other 3rd party Compass apps is not working after ICS update. I have read from other threads, this problem is very common to others who updated from GB to ICS.

My Xperia X10's compass is not working. When I on the compass where i downloaded from market, it just still there and not moving at all. May I know what is the problem happen to my phone? I've tried calibrate using "Analog Compass" but still the same problem occur.

In fact it should be aligned in The direction of The travel. It is always stuck at north at top. Is this a hardware issue or can it be sorted out by software reinstall?EVEN THE OTHER COMPASS APPS DONT WORK. I have downloaded compass touch from Nokia store. Anyone else with same issue? And yes, I had performed a hard reset (*#7370#) after belle refresh. Not sure whether this issue came up after this or it was there before.

I have the latest maps on my Nokia E55, v3.03 10wk01 b05 MW, map v. 0.1.23.112, but the compass is not working. I know it should have a green circle but the circle is alwasys white. Does it work automatically as I cannot find reference to it in the application. Also, the manual says you can input post codes for locations, but they are not recognised. Again, I can find no reference in the application.

No location data at all.I now realize that this is the first time I have tried GPS since the update and repeated tries with GPS Test and Maps shows no location. GPS Test shows 8 satellites available and using - but no location at all. My Nexus 7 was 20 feet within seconds of turning it on.I tried the purge AGPS and several resets as suggested in some of the other Experia forums

View 9 Replies View Related few days ago I've made a discussion here about the GPS of my Mini, that wasn't working good after an update. Before the update, it got locked on 30 seconds(max) in a cold start, and in a normal start, in about 5~10 seconds. After the update in the same conditions and same place, in a cold start, it takes around 1~2 minutes, and in a normal start it takes around 30 seconds. That's not normal, my friend has a Mini too and he is with the same firmware and his lock time on a cold start is around 25~30 seconds and on a normal start 5~10 seconds. I get the phone to the SE assistance, after 1 day they told me that was a firmware trouble and updated it again, but the phone still the same.
What should I do?
I recently got my x10i from a friend who had never updated it from the original 1.6 android version that it came with, so i have updated to the recent gingerbread update. The problem is that since the update, the buil in camera app will open, but as soon as i press the shutter button (or use the touch function) to take a picture it hangs and won't do anything until i exit. All the while it is hanging it is actively displaying whatever i point it at, but it won't take a picture. The annoying thing is that other camera apps such as camera360 work fine and will take photos, but i want to be able to use the face recognition and video functionality of the built in app.

View 6 Replies View RelatedXperia Mini Pro (SK17i); I upgrade to ICS (4.0.4), Build Number: 4.1.B.0.431. After that Notification LED is not working for MISSED call, SMS Alert etc. when screen is OFF. However, it is working for Charging and E-mail (using K9). Checked in Service Menu and all the LED are working fine.
All the LEDs were working when using Gingerbread (2.3). Only after upgrading to ICS it is not working. Is this an issue with ICS?
My phone is Neo from 2011. I have uninstalled the flash app, and then reinstalled, even installed chrome browser, but I only see a small icon with an arrow, where flash should be plaing. I have been in settings to see that it is enabled.
