Jun 23, 2012I can't seem to receive a text without it making a sound as well as vibrating. I've got the vibrate set to never but it only doesn't vibrate when its on silent. i've tried all of the options like when sound is off, never, always etc but nothing changes.

Apr 9, 2012since getting a second hand X10 mini pro a few days ago I have found many answers to the queries I had with the phone. I have it working very well now.
However, despite turning off all the email notifications in preferences (and saving) and getting the green box message that all preferences have been saved, I am still getting notifications of all threads in this section in my email inbox (and some in the spam box).

I'd like to be able to receive audible notification sounds for my emails and texts, just not my Twitter client, which is TweetCaster. I can live with the the little blue bird at the top with the red numbers, but not the sound every time a Tweet comes in. I would like to silence this applications, without it affecting my phone calls, texts and emails.

When I go into the pictures section and view those on my phone,3 pictures appear that are months old,and I was sure I had deleted from the phone.When I go to delete them it tells me the deletion has failed,and the pictures stay there.I can't find them anywhere on my phone by going though its menus,or by going through the folders in my computer! They don't exist outside of ovi suite! Can anyone tell me how to Make Ovi suite stop showing them,or explain what is going on?

Dec 3, 2010a few days ago I bought my SE X10 mini pro.I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35%
A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication.Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again.I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart.I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help.I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible.I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery.So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full...

So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. Nov 10, 2010Just wanted to share my experience. I did the update on November 8. I didn't bother to do the backup. The only real important is the contacts and Google have them already. I used the Update Service tool and it worked like a charm. After restarting the phone I had to go through the setup wizard, which by the way is much improved. I now realized that I had lost all my downloaded applications. I downloaded them again from market. Most of them had all the old data, nice. Some games lost all history, no big deal really. My contacts, mail and calendar was downloaded from Google.
I realy like the fact that it is possible to send contacts by SMS. The images from facebook also works very well.
The one thing that I am still not used to is the unlooking. The habbit of pressing the menu button twice is had to kick. I think the new way with the slider is somewhat safer.Now I am waiting 2.2 with tethering. I hope this will be available for X10 mini some time in the future.

Jun 20, 2010Basically my problem is in the title, my phone is continuously pressing 'J' and I cannot stop it, even when the slide is closed and often when they keys are locked. I have NOT dropped the phone or anything like that, I go out of my way to keep it safe and this problem emerged on Thursday when I recieved a message asking if I wanted to auto update.
I said yes, it apparently had installed the update but then hours later this problem starts so I look online the next day and thought i'd try and manually update the firmware, which told me I did not have the latest firmware.. So I installed it, the problem remained. I look around and see that a lot of people have resolved issues with a hard reset, I have also tried this and it has not fixed my problem.

Feb 14, 2011I have searched long and hard for an answer to this - perhaps it is obvious to everyone else.I want to put a larger sd card in and X10 mini. Is this the correct way?
1 select sd card in settings on the X10 then select unmount sd card.2 take out the card with the phone still switched on since I can't remove the battery there is no obvious way to depower it
3 put card in my pc's card reader and copy its contents to a folder on the pc (using copy and paste?), I have seen some mention of hidden files - is there any trick here?
4 put the new sd card in the pc and copy the stored contents onto it
5 put the card into the X10
6 what now - how do I get the x10 to accept the new card?

Aug 20, 2011I'm just got an Xperia X10 mini pro, and I have a probably dumb question on how to use it: I can't seem to dial anything once I'm in a call
If I am calling a customer service line, or my voicemail, I need to enter keypad entries. However once the call begins there is nothing I can do to be able to press anything, unless I pop the keyboard out and back in again. I understand there is a proximity sensor but head isn't that big. Am I doing something wrong? I just updated the OS to the latest version of Android 2.1

Jun 29, 2012I just upgraded my mini pro to ICS, it works fine in the first few moments until I realized that my phone can't:
1. Show any album art/cover from the music player. I've tried using the Sony Media Go to add the album arts to the file properties, still it didn't work. Only the 'default' songs from the product i.e brett5000: Globalization, missquerada: Far from love, and 2 others, can display their album cover
2. Update songs. Any new songs that I put into my phone through Sony Media Go aren't shown in the music player, only the old ones are present (though I've deleted it). I found the files when I opened it using a file manager program from the Play Store, but when I played it, none of its properties are present except the title of the song itself. It's not even present in the music player
