View 5 Replies View RelatedThere are some apps that need run full-screen and I am finding that the status bar interferes? Example, Softick Klondike Solitaire - unfortunately a great game but the developer put the score line so that it's hidden by the HoneyComb status bar.So I'd like to hide the status bar there may be other apps that need this too

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have been dealing with the problem of not being able to play videos on my HTC One. It is a Verizon version, using Android 4.4.2 and Sense 6, not rooted.
I am not able to play videos in YouTube, Chrome, or even videos I have taken with my own camera. For YouTube videos, it gives me a loading screen, then says, "There was a problem while playing. Touch to retry." When I try to play my own video, it tries to load, then gives me the HTC error message, saying, "Sorry, this video cannot be played." The same happens in Chrome.
The interesting thing is, some days I'll be able to watch a few videos just fine. Then after a couple I try to watch another and it gives me the error message. So I'm not really sure what is happening.
I have tried everything to try and resolve my issues but have not been able to do so.
First, I accidently hid a picture by checking the 'hide' field. Now how do you get it back?! I've had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure it out and they havent been able to.Secondly, when I choose a picture to be my wallpaper, it shows in a zoomed in version of the top left corner of the picture. I do recall when I was choosing the picture to set as my wallpaper, that I zoomed in on it before setting it, but used the 'back' key to remove the zoom feature. It appeared ok on the screen but set the wallpaper as the zoomed in picture. Now it doesn't matter which picture I choose, I get on the top left side, zoomed in showing up on my wallpaper. - even though it appears normal before setting it.
My Sony Xperia z2 will not let me access my youtube account.. I tried couple of time but always saying that "there was a problem with communicating with Google services "

I listen to a great deal of podcasts, audiobooks and music on youtube. Oftentimes I want to work and listen at the same time, so I will put my phone in my jacket/pants/table while I work, but sometimes I will bump the screen while working and it stops the YouTube video or makes it jump ahead/back.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have got the Sony Xperia Z5 premium and I am trying to watch 4K videos in the YouTube app, I have enabled the filter to find 4K videos, which I know definitely run in 4K on a desktop computer, however I don't have the option to change the resolution to 4K within the YouTube app, it only goes up to 1080p.
View 9 Replies View RelatedJust been wondering about the stupid border around the screen when watching a YouTube video in landscape mode. It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..
Is there a specific setting to disable it, or a certain gesture?
No longer able to play videos in Facebook and YouTube after Lollipop update?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I updated my z3 to lollipop I found a problem in youtube app it's become not playing videos anymore. I tried to delete the cash but nothing happened even I tried to reinstall it again but not solved.
Finally I thought maybe the Google play service it's old or not compatible or something like that but nothing change even with latest update from Google play service.
For notice I do format to my phone before I install the new update to Android lollipop.

I have my Sony Z3+ just for ten days. I didn't inspected it very well when I bought it. I just use it as phone. But today I wanted to make photos of some importance to me and I got just green photos. you can see the view below. When I take the photo, I can see her just fine, but when it is saving, it become green. The video recording works and saves just fine (the only "alive" view in the picture below).
The second issue that I have is youtube movie look. They are not of clean view, there are rectangular dashes moving on the screen all the time.
I also couldn't connect to the new secured wifi network today. I opened the wifi connection put the password but the button to save the connection was inactive. I could just close the window...
I've just got a new Z3 with Lollipop pre-installed and found that YouTube playback via the default app is choppy/stuttery. I tried factory resets/ updating the YouTube app/clearing cache/turning the x-reality engine on/off, but of no avail.
The videos play perfectly fine on my much older Xperia s, so pretty sure this not on the YouTube end.
Audio precedes video. This happens in all apps including ones that came preinstalled with phone...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've installed andorid 5.0.2 on my xperia z2 and I've this problems. I must restart the smartphone to do work them once again.
View 6 Replies View RelatedFirstly, when I watch video on youtube about 4-6 clips - the error message appear: "Please touch to try again" - even I touch multiple times it still can not play.
Then, I go to the Video App (Sony), surprisingly, the video didn't play. It appear an error message: "Can not play this video" - I try with every single video on my phone and still has the same error message.
And more surprisingly, even the video on facebook have the same problem too.
So it must be like: If I watch video on any app, suddenly the clip can not play or just keep loading infinity, these app will be "infected" immideately (at the same time as well). The only thing I can do is reboot the phone.
I know reboot phone is just spend my little time around 15-30 seconds maybe. But it is very annoying to happen with very frequently.
