After update Android L, when playing game like candy crush or so, for checking msg or call I minimize the game pressing home button then when I came back to the game by recent apps the game doesn't resuming where i leave it but it restart....some time it resuming sometime not...before update it was fine.. I tried reset but doesn't work...

View 2 Replies View RelatedNot sure I'm the only user experience such horrible issue, my phone recently apps suddenly auto pop up and randomly start different apps again and again. Normally take few hours to back to normally and started few times a month.
I have tried to reset to factory and doesn't work. Tried to use diagnosis function to check, but all are normal. and I downloaded antivirus software to scanned as well, all can't find issue. It's just so weird.....
So i bought a xperia z2 not to long ago,everything has been fine until now,from out of no where the phone just started to restart itself for no reason,and suddenly whenever i try to do something on the phone i get the error notification that all the apps/programs on the phone has stopped working and the phone reboots and it has been going like that for maybe 2hours now.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAs of a few weeks ago I noticed my phone would randomly restart, I didn't think much of it until one day it shut off, restarted, and then it was locked and would not unlock no matter how long I held the side button down for, plugging it into the charger did nothing. I ended up having to let the phone just die and recharge it once it had died. I could deal with all of that, but today I noticed after it had some sluggish responses to me wanting to unlock the screen (it would stay locked and not respond to button presses until i waited around 2 or 3 minutes after hitting the button initially).
I tried to use several applications, the appstore, snapchat, youtube, and i got little to no activity from any of them. Never ending loading from just about all, or no activity whatsoever from the appstore, yet the net browser and facebook/ etc worked just fine. And to top it all off, I noticed my battery draining at an alarming rate, maybe 10% every 30 minutes even with nearly no applications running or open.
Facebook often freezes however the device is working properly and I have to clear it from the most recent apps list and open it again and it becomes alright.....however it happens frequently so I became annoyed
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a big problem with my Xperia Z3, I i am using lollipop 5.0.2 . It worked fine with no issue until yesterday when I restart my xperia z3 it just keep on restarting . I switched it off and the on again.
Now its stuck at” Android upgrading, starting apps” all the time and it keeps restarting. I have tried to soft –reset nothing is happening. I have reached at a level to lose everything in the phone especially my contacts by deciding to do a hard/factory reset but still I cant do that using volume up or down. I am totally stuck. How to get rid of this. I cant get into recovery mode coz nothing is happening when I press key combination.
After having used the Ray for some time the video goes blank to save energy,but i can't resume video display even if i press the power key or the HOME button.To again have the display I have to remove the battery for some seconds.

Switching between apps is something I do a lot. I double tap the home button and then select the app that's one before last many times. Is there a way to do this much faster?
Maybe some way to use two fingers to flip between these 2 apps? It would be a huge productivity boost for me.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was lead to believe, from scouring these forums, that double tapping the home button will give a list of recent apps.if I open a multitasking app like the new eBay app (updated today) then close it using the home key and then reopen it it's righ where it left off as it should be.Now if I double tap hold down eBay and delete it from the list the next time I open eBay it opens from scratch.
So the list in the double tap screen is not a list of recent apps but a task manager to what is currently multitasking. For those apps that start from scratch just don't have the multitasking programmer into them.
So I've had the M8 for a couple of weeks,I've NEVER used the 'Recent Apps' button, except to clear out all of the recently used apps, thinking maybe its gonna free up some memory and make the phone faster or something. I wish you could modify this button to maybe something you actually USE more, like 'Settings', or go back to the much missed 'Menu' button. I have immediate access to over 50 apps/actions on my home screen, so it would actually be slower to bring up the 'Recent Apps' screen to access an app.

I cleared cache, etc. VZW is offering me a new phone, but it's "factory reconditioned" and I'd like to keep this one.
I use my phone now. The recent apps/multiwindow thing keeps popping up, no matter what I'm doing and even if I quit all my running apps. Despite restarts and complete phone drainage, this problem keeps occuring for the past month or 2.
I use my phone to play games a lot (like several hours a day), have active Line group conversations, use Facebook app frequently w/its Messenger app, and I also use Dodol Launcher for my phone too. I really don't want to go to the factory default method of fixing things, especially since it's a major pain to reinstall all the games that I have installed. However, a quick search through google doesn't seem to show any results about this continuous recent apps popup bug.
I have an unlocked M7, just recently updated from 4.4.2 to 5.0.2. No it's not rooted or anything like that.Now for some unknown reason the Home button has only one function: return to home screen. If I double-click it, nothing happens. No "recent apps" screen. If I hold it, nothing happens either. No app menu opens. The key doesn't even vibrate anymore, I think it used to?
The reason I know the key works at all is that it does actually get me to the home screen if I just "click" it I have tried clearing the cache (in the recovery menu), no difference. I have turned on/off all possible settings, no difference. I even booted into safe mode, no difference.

I'm running Lollipop 5.1.1 and whenever I swipe away recent apps in the task switcher such as Chrome or Play Store, there is a lag/stutter before the app leaves the screen. It swipes away and then pauses for a second before leaving.

I get a toast message saying could not start Textra and nothing else it drops me back on my home screen.
Is this a G4 issue, a Textra issue, or something I can change?

If i touch the button it doesn't work.
If i touch the back the button it works and both the lights on the side buttons work.
But if i touch the recent apps button it doesn't work.
It will automatically work by itself and it does so to the point where i can use my phone, it keeps bringing up recent apps, split screen view, i cant even use my phone because the menu button keeps automatically pressing/working by itself. I don't know what caused this..
I've turned it off and left it off. The recent apps button did work but it will not work now but the home button and back buttons still work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've looked around but couldn't find anything. I've noticed that when I change my DPI in the build.prop the Google Search bar is gone from the top of the recent app list. I've changed my DPI on every device I've owned, and this is the first time I've noticed this issue.
I've also noticed that once in a while it does appear, but I don't exactly know what's triggering it, and it will disappear the next time I go to the recents menu.
I'm most comfortable at 500 right now. I've tried 520, 480, and 420 (what the N5X is at). Everyone of them seems to have this issue. I really can't stand keeping it at 560.
