View 3 RepliesThis is my first HTC and everything was going great. i bought a dot matrix case for it and everything worked great. now sometimes when i make or receive a call the loud speaker activates automatically. it does it most of the time not with every outgoing / incoming call. i have trawled a few forums and people are saying it could be to do with google chrome and to uninstall it but i can't see how or where to uninstall it on the M9. I have taken the dot matrix cover off and it is still doing it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an issue here with the phone. The issue came after the battery is pull off and put in on back. Previously everything is ok.When answering a call without a bluetooth device/handfree, I can't hear anything from the phone until I need to use the loud speaker always. Otherwise, I need to use the bluetooth all the while.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy sk17i mini pro received an update (Build Number 4.0.2.A.0.62, i believe?) a few days ago and since then when making/receiving calls the loudspeaker is always on by default, rather than the ear speaker. This didn't happen before. This isn't a major problem but now I have to switch to the ear speaker during every phone call. (By the way, the loudspeaker volume is superb!)Is there a way to set the ear speaker to default for phone calls?

I have my Z5 Premium on my at&t network and I will occasionally get a loud electronic screeching or beeping when a call connects or disconnects. I've tried a few different sim cards and a factory reset and the issue seems to, at very best, just happen less frequently.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI use the speaker on my N6 to listen to approx 4 hours of podcasts daily. In the past week, when I start a podcast, the speaker is nice & loud, then in approx 10 seconds it starts to lower until I can still hear it, but it's too low. If I hit Pause, then Start, it's loud again for 10 seconds. YouTube has same problem. Volume settings are at max.
I called support and went into Safe Mode and ran a video on YouTube, same thing. I factory reset the phone and before installing my podcast player (BeyondPod) I played a video and the volume started loud & then lowered.
I purchased the phone directly from Google and have a Sprint sim in it. Ver 5.1...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have my S2 for some days now. and suddenly my speaker acts weird. Every time sound is played (keyboard, calls, music, ....) the speaker acts weird don't know how to describe it:
1) It makes the right sound so thats Ok.
2) While playing the sound, the speaker clicks on (you can hear a click).
3) Then it makes a noise (you can compare it when you put your speaker from your PC really loud but ain't playing music or something).
4) After that it makes the click again.
When someone phones me and i press answer button - the speaker (at the top of the phone) is loud for 1 sekond. Everyone can hear it. And its every call.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI know that this issue was reported before, but I need to inform that it is not solved (or we are dealing with a regression bug): [URL] .... use Xperia Z2 (D6543) and sometimes when I answer a call, it goes straight to loudspeaker.
This problem does not happens often (so it is a pain to reproduce it), but is seems to happen when I receive a call while the phone is in standby for a long period (about 4 hours).
When that happens, the loudspeaker button does not display as selected, so to disable it I need to double hit the button to change the audio output (the first hit re-enables it, and the second disables it).
Currently, I am using Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, and Google Chrome 42.0.2311.111. I did not try to disable Chrome yet, but I am afraid this is not an option for me. Instead of this, I would be glad if this issue became addressed by Sony developers again.
I would like to know the official comment from Sony on the low in call volume of the X10. There are load & loads of people on the web complaining about the issue, on my X10, I can only hear a phone call if I am indoors in an extremely quiet location.. if I am outside, near a road etc I cant hear, and it is even worse on speaker phone. I would estimate the volume needs to be boosted by 50 to 100%, seriously the lowest volume of any phone I have ever owned.. which is a shame, as the rest of the phone is great.
Is there an official fix / patch in the works for the volume issue? or is this not being recognised as a widespread issue.. or is the hardward simply not able to do it?
It seems if I use "Poweramp", as a music player, I can adjust the EQ and boost the volume of Mp3's etc to a fairly decent level (much louder than the phone volume), so I'm sure it could be done with software...
I am only after an official Sony response, not people's opinion's, there are lots of other Posts like that, but I cant find any response from Sony to the issue.
There was an article Posted in August 2010 on xperiax10.net.. but I have heard nothing since. [URL]
Am I really hearing some not so good quality here. Its just that I am having trouble understanding the one whom I am speaking to. I hear the sound as if my phone speaker is covered with a pillow.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI see that the Bionic users are complaing of this issue, but don't see it here with the Droid 4 users.(My Droid 2 did it as well). The tone happens at the end of a call no matter who is terminating the call or whether the phone is BT or not. I see no way to turn this off or control the volume with the Droid 4 without turning the whole notification process off.The problem is most severe when I BT to my car stereo as the tone is especially loud because of the car stereo volume. Ironically, if the call drops, there is no termination tone, which is the one time at least you could appreciate some sort of notification. Often I am talking away after the call drops and will have no idea that the call dropped. Ideally, this tone should be volume controlled independently of other notification tones.
