After reading a few of the discussions on the SE forum, and having a X8 phone (which im starting to regret buying) for less than a year, im super disappointed in SE mainly because of how far the phone has fallen behind with its competitors. When i first bought this phone I seriously loved it, I really wasn't an android guy, but when i was playing with my friend's samsung galaxy, i noticed how ghetto the android 2.1 really is. I looked at other android and they were all a lot better compared to this phone.
my x10a freezes atleast 5 times a day while watching movie or playing games. sometimes it restarts itself when its turned back on after it freezes. i have tried re installing android but it still does that
On my Curve I could choose my icons and display at leat 9 of them going up the side and on the bottom of the home screen. I know ** to move the icons to get the 5 I want for the bottom of the homescreen but is there a way on the 9650 to choose your favorite 7-9 and have them vertically up the side and horizontal on the homescreen?
I made such thing i installed MT and after i installed 2.2.1 froyo(rom). and than i didn't like this rom and i tried to make update with SEUS, it deleted old software but did not installed new?
I cant buy or download anything from store. I can see the apps and search for them.Pushing download or buy button does nothing. Also "Home" icon where you can see previously downloaded/bought apps just shows loading icon forever.
Is there anyway to make the social feeds to update less. I have feeds coming in all the time. It is getting really aggervating. Also, is the anyway to make the calender appointments not show up in my social feeds window? Another thing My Tourch wiggles when it is open and to also wiggles when it is colsed. I am not sure but I think it may become a problem. Is it suppose to do this.
Since receiving the OTA GB update, I have run into an issue where the phone will not make calls. After dialing a number and hitting send, the phone looks like it is about to dial but immediately goes to 'End Call' and disconnects. I'm seeing the same thing after hitting a direct-dial shortcut. The dial screen comes up with the contact's phone number and as soon as the phone connects to start dialing, it immediately goes to 'End Call.' Time of call in every instance is 00:00.
This has happened twice in the last 3 days and the only way I have found to correct it is to pull the battery. A powerdown/reboot does not do anything. The annoyance is magnified since I am using an Otterbox Defender case and have to remove it to access the battery (grrrr!)
I recently updated my N8 to Symbian Anna w/o any problems. After the update, the phone will not send/receive phone calls/text messages after it has been sitting in locked mode (the screen displays the default clock) after about 30 minutes. Once I have restarted the phone it works properly until it returns to the locked mode. I have performed a factory reset on the device with out any luck.
My phone will no longer make or receive calls and I can't text after upgrading to iOS 8.1.1. I've tried everything except chucking the phone out the window. I have reset it multiple times, turned it off and back on, reset the network settings, reset all settings, toggled the airplane mode switch, and done a complete factory restoration. What else is there to do? I can't get a new phone for another year.
I dont know what has happened to my phone when I try to call any number it automatically opens Skype! It already asked for Phone call or Skype Call but now it does not, I dont want to use Skype I want to make phone call not Skype Call.

I can't make video calls from my xperia x10. In the show room the executives are telling like this "when u insert the 3g sim automatically front cam is activated in your moblie".
Now i m using official 4.0.4 based custom Rom,i have used all custom roms....(also check Cm9) But problem in official 4.0.4 based custom Rom is that Notification up and Down is lagging and 3d games are not smooth like Temple Run,Modern combact, gta 3,etc.. Running official 4.0.4 is like i m running Nokia 5233 i also overclock cpu 1ghz to 1.8ghz for increase fps for games and fix otification laggyness but overclock alteast not helpful... i also check Cm9..it is 2x smooth ui and games also...Temple run is run like super gingerbread.. but the problem in CM9 is that video recorder not working so thats why i m not using... If Cm9 runs smooth on this device so why official 4.0.4 is not smooth...
HARDWARE IS OK FOR XPERIA NEO V FOR ICS ics 4.0.4 can run smooth but sony does not want make smooth OS for old device 2011 for example: HTC One V also has same hardware like xperia neo v(1 ghz=1 ghz,Andreno 205 gpu=Andreno 205 gpu) htc one v is 10x smoother interface than xperia neo v, my friend has htc one v(temple run runs like fire) both devices has ics So why sony firmware not smooth......
