Sony Ericsson :: C510 / Hotmail Stop Working / Heart Rate Started Increasing?

I have a C510. I've accessed all my Hot mail accounts successfully for about 6 months - but now it's suddenly stopped accessing Hot mail. Apart from calls, email is the thing I most use the phone for! When I click 'MSN Mail'(or try to access Hot mail through Google), the connect bar remains empty (no increasing green line). and the circle of 'connect dots' just goes around and round. It will not connect to Hot mail. No message giving a reason why. I haven't changed any settings so I've no idea why I cannot access Hot mail anymore.

I'm looking at replacing my creaky old K800i with a C510, but wondered if the C510 has a kind of joystick or if it's a D-pad "clicky button" arrangement? It's hard to tell from the videos and written reviews. I play a lot of games on my mobile and I like the feel of the joystick, so I was really hoping I could upgrade to another SE phone with joystick, but I guess they're falling out of favour (especially since many people had problems with the K800 joystick).

I have a w200i and am constantly running out of SMS storage space before having a chance to back up my SMS messages to my PC. Can increase the storage space for them on my phone, or store messages on my sd card? I have 29MB of memory free on my phone and 1850MB on my SD card, and I still have to delete SMS messages all the time that I want to save!

I bought a Sony Ericsson C510 before 7 months ago and now I confused with such a problem which always gave the message "Insert Sim or view demo" and "Inactive SIM" always. And it is already damaged to my SIM also (SIM was worked perfectly when I have this problem). So I bought a new SIM and insert it and again my phone gave me same error. But my new SIM is work properly in other phones now also. I already updated the firmware of the phone. But still it not detecting the SIM.

I had purchased Mobile Model # C510 on 13 June 2010. However, soon my mobile went dead and I submitted (Work order # SE310RT317708) this to Sony Ericsson Service Center (RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, Pune) on 7 Aug 2010. They informed me that there is some problem with the motherboard of the mobile and it need to be sent to the factory for replacement, for which they said it would take 15-20 days of time. However, now it is close to two months and till date I have not received my mobile. Upon repeated calling they just say it would be done in weeks time, dont know when that week would come. I also, called up your call center for the same (Ref # 88390486 and 88429925) and they said it would be done in a couple of days time, however, I have not received my mobile till date. My concern:Is Sony Erricsson so irresponsible towards its customers?

So it appears that Motorola may have sold through their stock of Heart Rate Moniotors, and not be restocking. I've been searching on line, and everyone is either out of stock (with no chance of restock), or running up the price extremly high.So I'm asking, is anyone using a differnet Heart Rate Monitor, or can anyone recommend a good alternate? I have an old polar HRM that I'm using, but I really would like to get this integrated with the MOTOACTV if I can...

For the past couple of weeks, I have had some problems with the HR display. The device will show my HR shifting rapidly from up to 209 BPM down to 0BPM and occasionally to no reading at all. This usually happens at the beginning of a workout and goes to normal after several minutes. I keep my chest strap very clean so I know that it isn't dirt and sweat disrupting transmission. When it first started I assumed that it was a sign of a dying battery but changing it didn't make a difference. This only happens during running and aerobic activities. With weight training and yoga there doesn't seem to be a problem.

I have migrated from a simple Timex heart rate monitor to the Motoactv and use it for running. I use the Motoactv Heart Rate Monitor. After 2 weeks of use I find a feature I miss is Heart Rate Recovery. When a workout was completed the Timex gave you the heart rate at completion and one minute later. The decline of heart rate in that one minute was a great indicator of overall heart health and a good metric for individual runs, especially long runs. Am I missing some setup info or is this metric missing?
Has anyone figured a practical workaround without too much fumbling at the end of a run or other workout?

I want to get a heart rate monitor strap to go with my Motoactv, which I love by the way. I went to the Motoactv site and to Amazon to get a Moroactve heart rate strap and they are out of stock. What should I do? Buy a Garman Ant+ HRM strap?Wait for a Motoactv HRM strap Or maybe sometime in the future we might actually be able to get the SF700 again?

I cannot seem to display heart rate percentage on my MOTOACTV.
On the options, I can only see options to display the heart rate in bpm. I used to have the garmin forerrunner and it was easy to do this. Does motoactv support this option?

I recently sold my Garmin 405 CX and bought the 16 GB MotoACTV. With it I purchased the Motorola Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap. The main reason I sold the Garmin was because I was having trouble with the heart rate monitor. So after a couple of weeks of testing, I am having the same problem with the MotoACTV as I did with the garmin. When I first put on the strap, it seems to be reporting the correct Heart Rate. With in about 15 minutes of my workout, my heart rate starts to fall on the MotoACTV. Usually reporting somewhere around 45-50 BPM. My resting rate was around the mid 70's. I have tried all of the suggestions on many Internets sites including the link I referenced below. I even tried using a Polar Strap with the Motorola Transmitter to no avail. I've tried using the ultrasonic gel. Different placements on my body.[URL]I really like the MotoActv Device and all its features but I really need a heart rate monitor that works. I would prefer to not return the device. Several years ago I have a Polar and its Heart Rate monitor worked fine on me.I would not discount that fact that something about the ANT+ technology doesn't like my body. Since both the Garmin and MotoACTV both use this technology. And both has the same results.

I have been trying to use the heart rate monitor, and it keeps reporting my heart rate a lot lower than it actually is. Where is the best spot on the chest to put the monitor? below or above the boob area. I normally have it between my boob and stomach (i am a large guy) and it will show my heart rate at like 80 when it is over 150. Also, is there any suggestions that can make this more accurate? Is it because I am large the monitor is not reporting accurately?

Under Fitness Zones, Basic Heart Rate Zones, it has my resting heart rate as 60 bpm as detected by MOTOACTV. Max HR is set as 185 but I want to update that, manually, to 190. When I make the change, there is no OK or SUBMIT button

I have a C510 R1HA035. Since the last firmware update I have been experiencing a reduction in coverage i.e.the signal strength has reduced a lot. Also I found another bug.In the stand-by the alarm time with the symbol is shown on the bottom left.However,after calls,the call time is shown on bottom left and the alarm time goes above the date, and the logo overlaps the time.

I've bought a SE c510 recently. Maybe a month ago. All was working fine until a couple of days ago, it started giving me error message. First, it will say Inactive Sim. Then, it will turn itself on, and give me this error message: "Insert Sim or View Demo Video first" It takes more than a couple of on/off remove battery cycles before it functions again. My Sim is definitely not inactive. Cause At times that I don't get this error, it works. I have also updated to the latest firmware as of 06/27/10. I still get the errors. Is there s aolution to this? I have been using SE Phones for a long time now and I don't usually have issues like this.

I have a C510 Sony Ericsson Phone. I bought is about 7-8 months ago. Recenly it has started behaving a little weird. I couldn't figure out if it is a software problem or hardware problem. Some of the problems it is showing are:It is very slow. Actions take place after 5-10 seconds after pressing the keys. For example: To look for a name in PhoneBook, if I type 'R' after 5-10 seconds it will show names starting with 'R'. If I press the Dial button on some contact, the phone hangs (the screen also goes blank) until the other party picks up the phone.Sometimes the screen splits up in two identical sub-screens. Restarting the phone is the only options in this case.This is what I did to fix it:Formatted the memory card after backing up the essensital data (contacts and notes)When the above didn't work I did a Master Reset The phone got a little (very little) faster, But No significant improvement. This tells me that the problem is not software related. There is some problem in the hardware. Let me know what to do. today It showed a new problem: "While searching in the phone book If I have to look for a name say "Prashant", and to start with I press key '7' to type 'P', it types direclty the third letter on key '7' that is 'R'. And the name starting with 'R' show up. The same thing happened with every key (1 to 9). " I restarted the phone and it got back to normal. This is getting irritating. Tell me what can I do.

I was using c510 for past 6 months. My network provider is vodafone. Recently I changed to postpaid connection from prepaid keeping the same number for that I got a new SIM. When I inserted the new SIM on switch on itself it is asking for phone lock code.I haven't kept any lock code for my phone till now. And when I searched in the net for the default code i got it as '0000'. But when I enter that it says wrong code.
Then I inserted my old SIM for that it is working but its inactive since I got new one. I checked the phone security settings under settings->general->security->Locks->phone protection->Protection so as to turn off that feature.It was shown 'Automatic' neither On or Off. And when I tried to change that to off its again asking for the lock code. And I am not able to use my phone now.
