Dec 19, 2011I had a N97mini which i used Nokia Suite and lead, which sync'd my calendar within seconds! I've had my 800 for 5 days and i have not been able to sync my calendar. We are not allowed to publish calendars to the "cloud"!!!

May 20, 2015On May 18, 2015 I did the software update for my Lumia 1020 and now my phone seems to be experiencing a bunch of issues. Email doesn't refresh and I have to do it manually. My MS account cannot sync email nor calendar. Text messages don't send and various apps (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) won't open. Is there any solution to this? If not, how do I roll this back?

Dec 9, 2012Cant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.

I am not using a Calendar with a different tab name and my default calendar is empty. The calendar on the E71 is now also empty as I takes the input from the default calendar. I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Aug 30, 2010On June calendar sync worked fine between my E55 and Outlook 97. After my summer vacation sync doesn't work.
Now I get always error message: "Reconnect the USB cable or connect via Bluetooth. Then senc again. Error code: 8004fced" I have tried with cable and BT. Already I have reinstalled Ovi Suite and I have flashed my E55 again but these didn't help. Sync working with contacts, messages and pictures.

Sep 19, 2012I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.I love the calendar and it an do everything I want it to do bar one thing. When I have appointments that run on the same day each week but then finishes at a certain time of the year the calendar won't save them. I keep getting a message saying something along the lines of the appointment being too long for the time given.
example. My daughter goes to gymnastics every monday between 4pm - 6pm. She started in August and the course finishes in october.I can add the appointment to the calendar, put how long the appt is for and say it's every monday. Then I cahnge the dates to the date the appt started (august) to the date it ends (october) and it won't save it. I had a blackberry before my nokia (yuck horrid thing) and could do it no problem with that and I don't see why the nokia can't do the same.
Am I doing something wrong? I've ended up just adding the appt from August saying every monday for specified length of time but it runs way over as I've put every monday so no end date. This means I'll have to delete it when the time s up and start again when the new dates happen. It's all well and fine to just delete the ones she is on holiday from but I never know when the next course starts back until near the end and I am a busy woman so need to know what's happening when etc in my life.

Jun 14, 2010A couple of issues I found after upgrading to 2.1.1.1:
1) Tools->Options->Device sync: I cannot check Calendar and tasks. There isn't even such a chekbox. However If I go down to the "Calendar and tasks" option I can set date range for sync, and MS Outlook. but I can't turn the sync on. If I go to Sync->Sync status it show that my cal is never synced. In PC Suite this was possible, but not anymore.
2) I want the suite to sit silent in the system tray and sync silently. Not pop up and be obtrusive during my web meetings. In PC Suite, this was possible to do, but not anymore.

Dec 3, 2012The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display
- Conference calling
- Date & Time
- Accounts:
*email account1
*email account2
*email account3
#Appointment color
#display reminder
#number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
