For months it worked correctly.but suddenly it is not working .on click it does nothing.i have latest version of map 3_6 with updates installed.i am using nokia x6 with latest firm ware installed.

I have the map of UAE in my E72, when ever i search any place, the result shows only in Arabic. I need the search reasult in English. My phone language is English. View 10 Replies View RelatedMaps (v3.09) on a nokia C7 worked fine until the last couple of weeks. Startup and positioning are OK. When I try to search for a destination though, the application crashes. Repeatedly. I can't think of anything I did lately (settings changes or new installs) that might have caused this. On the older threads regarding this issue, the best solution seemed to be updating the suite.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Turbo. Sometime today the little microphone button on my home page has stopped working when pressed. It only happens on my homepages on the phone, so if I tap on Google and bring up the browser page or then I can tap on the microphone and talk.
If I'm on the Home Screen; however, I can press it again and again and it is totally unresponsive. I have tried:
-turning the phone off and on again,
- going onto home-screen settings and turning google search on and off
- downloaded a anti-virus program suggested by a friend with the same phone and done searches.
This may seem like a rather small issue, but I use that microphone button a lot when using my phone.
I'm not able to search locations on Maps on my Lumia 800.I keep gettin g an error message, whether I am using edge, 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity.
Also the map on Nokia drive is really lousy. Hardly any locations mentioned and so many mistakes. any fixes ??
I have a Lumia 822 and while I really like it and most of the features I am getting tired of accidentally triggering Bing every time I use the phone. Is there a way to disable the button completely or make it necessary to hold it for a couple of seconds to activate it?

I't a bit annoying. I seem to remember the same behaviour on the N97 I once had. (Yes, I remember I vowed never to buy a Nokia again but the E72 seems really good.)Does anyone know why the button is blinking? It's a slow fade in/out blink.

I even tried a Hard Reset on it, but it didn't help.I tried once to boot without SIM card, and it seemed to help -- but only for a while after which the issue reappeared. Now I've been rebooting the phone a million times with and without SIM card and not seen the buttons working at all. Is it a HW failure?

In fact it should be aligned in The direction of The travel. It is always stuck at north at top. Is this a hardware issue or can it be sorted out by software reinstall?EVEN THE OTHER COMPASS APPS DONT WORK. I have downloaded compass touch from Nokia store. Anyone else with same issue? And yes, I had performed a hard reset (*#7370#) after belle refresh. Not sure whether this issue came up after this or it was there before.

I 'm not sure if re-installation can help but the phone cannot offer uninstall or re-install.in fact, I did drop my phone twice, not sure if GPS got broken. I don't know a way to find out.
