it's my first time to connect my e63 to my PC using usb cable..Through Nokia PC Suite, i have updated my cellphone for new softwares. during the process like,Back up and installation went well until such time that my e63 shut off and the PC prompts that there was an error occured.

After taking the phone home and learning how to use it, I decided on connecting my social networking sites to my mobile. Unfortunately, when opening the the app (using the path Menu > Applications > Social) it began to load and then suddenly, the app shut down back to the Applications screen. I then restarted my phone and had the same problem no matter how many time I tried to access it. I have also searched for software updates and completed the update that appeared on the 28th August 2011 and this did not fix my problem.how to fix this as I am unable to find something to resolve this problem on other websites and in the other forums on the Nokia site.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy mobile is a Nokia N8. I recently updated Phone Apps, I'm not very technical so I followed all prompts asked of me. It advised to restart my phone which I did. When the phone restarted, I lost 3months worth of pictures, my profiles (general, silent etc) were reset but still had messages in my inbox, and god knows what else I haven't noticed yet.I must note also that I received text messages from O2, my service provider. They said, message 1 "you'll receive settings for our phone to allow you to easily access O2's great services". Message 2 "Select Save from Options to configure all settings". I followed these messages. I contacted O2 who advised it was nothing to do with them!!! Not one bit helpful either.

What i've already done with no avail; Settings reset, factory reset, repair using pc companion, and reinstalling update using Sony Update Service. I've also tried manual flash to ICS but it didn't work. Lastly, I tried to flash back to gingerbread but also failed. Is their a bug issue in ICS wifi settings?

I've had my Curve for about 2 years now.. and this is the ONLY problem I've had with it since I got it... I went to use the camera yesterday and I get a message saying: " Could not start the camera. Close other applications and trying opening the camera again." The camera screen loads... but....it's black... and it's not picking up anything.

An orange circle is on top of the icon and the number in that circle has climbed to 50. I only have about a dozen apps installed. When I pull down the notifications list and select this update list, the title is "Ongoing" and the apps are TweetDeck(Twitter, Facebook),... If I touch that line, it may go to the market or more often bounces back to the ome screen. How do I cancel what it is doing and stop it from continually trying to update apps. I have gone through all the settings and still no luck. God, what a stupid, bug filled OS.

I seeked all the tip from all the forums but none of the solution does the trick.The camera application is saying that "could not start the camera,close other applications.." .
