Has anybody heard anything what's going on with the old Nokia Sports Tracker? Is the new company doing anything with the software or is it dead? Their home page does not shed much light on the situation.
Why sports tracker not available for N97? One of the most expensive nokia phones without sports tracker. Its weird.. nokia whats happening, dont disappoint N97 customers
found the new version, which obviously now works on new touchscreen devices (which was asked for several times in this board). I love that app, but the new version is unfortunately not available for my E71. If interested, check www.sportstrackingtechnologies.com, there is a link that opens the OVI store. Or check in OVI.
I see people complained about this before /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/Nokia-Sports-Tracker-Won-t-Start-N73/m-p/336675 That was in 2009 with older versions of Sports Tracker. Yesterday i installed the latest firmware from the Nokia website for the N73 on my phone and i just installed Sports Tracker 2.06 on the phone but it does NOT start. Same issue as the other people had in 2009. Is this a new problem now or did Nokia did not learn from its mistakes / failures?!
Info of my N73: Firmware version: 4.0839.42.2.1 Sports Tracker version: 2.06 Sports Tracker is installed on phone memory (not sd card) No other extra software is running that could give issues with Sports Tracker (clean installed phone). I really hope to see this problem being fixed as soon as possible. I run 4x a week and my N73 is always with me with Sports Tracker. If it is not possible to fix it i should have to buy a new phone. And that would be a HTC instead.
why is new Sports Tracker not available for N93i? beta of Nokia Sports Tracker worked like a charm on it, without any issues... I feel like: "Here we stop supporting your phone so you will have feelings that you need to buy new one, and new one = $$$ for us" .. why stop supporting it when it worked without ANY problems? Seems a bit unfair and it isn't the only app you stopped to support on "not so old and not so bad" mobile phones..
Really enjoying this software, but I would like the option of uploading to the Nokia Sports Tracker website. I have an account on that site. I have everything working ok on the phone - Ovi Maps, GPS, Internet, etc. Nokia Sports Tracker Beta website logs in ok, but any support refers to Beta 9, not the latest version 3.0. I see plenty of people using the website to upload workouts.
On the phone, if I go to Training Diary, there is no no 'Send' in the option, but an upload button. Selecting this button, I only get: "Web Service. Our completely renewed online service for easy sharing and enhanced data visualization will be launched later. Stay tuned for an update!" I guess that this means that because I installed the latest version, that I can't use the web service!
The application seems to be working fine, until you get done with a ride... Then you notice that it tracks a small section of your ride, or just a straight line.
I'm not quite sure what Nokia think they're playing at when they create a 'backup and restore' utility. Especially when you 'restore' after doing a soft reset and none of your original apps are there "Great" Now I've had to reinstall 'sports tracker', but it doesn't show up on the phone despite appearing to succeed. Also if I install it again it prompts with "do you wish to reinstall" (this is all through the PC based Ovi application)
I have used this App for years now and just upgraded a few weeks ago to the new 3.01(0) (S60 5.0) from Sports Tracker Technologies for the N97 Mini. I have noticed a major problem with the new application which pretty much drains my N97 battery within a couple of hours from full charge, and if you like to cycle for more than 2 hours this is a real pain in the neck.
I have tested every other app, on standby, the old Nokia beta version and no problem with the battery (I even bought a new battery!). I reported the problem to the new company in Mid July (twice) and have still to even get an acknowledgement that they received my email. I also reported a more minor issue at the same time where by all screens do not show up in the selected unit of measure (e.g. if you select miles/imperial as the default) the month summary screen still shows Kms.
I have Sports Tracker 3.01(0) (S60 5.0) on my Nokia 5800 XM and it works fine - i can create workouts, see the stats on the phone and so on. My problem is, that when I click on the "Upload workout" button i get the following message: "Our completely renewed online service for easy sharing and enhanced data visualization will be launched later. Stay tuned for an update!". And as a result I am not able to upload my workouts to the web. At the same time I can see other people uploading their info successfully.
I have version 3.01 installed on my X6, it tells me my licence will expire in 17 days. If I do a check for update from the app, I get a message saying WLAN network not found, error code 30180, whether I'm connected to WLAN or not. I've checked for an update in OVI & the only option I get is to launch, not download, does this mean I'm up to date anyway?
I downloaded Sports Tracker and Nokia Maps (.sis). Next step is to install through Nokia PC Suite, but then when i receive a msg on mobile N78 to Install, next message is: CERTIFICATE ERROR, CONTACT THE SUPPLIER APPLICATION.
http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/main/download.do The 5800 is missing from the download dropdown, does anyone know where to get the latest version of it?
I can't install Nokia Sport Tracker on my Nokia 6210 Navigator because it gives me an error certificate. So, trying to update my cellphone, it does not have new update.? Nokia 6210 Navigator (RM-367) Micrologiciel: 3.25.124.04 (22 oct 2008) Code: 0569996. Looking the both same phone of my parents (Both RM-367), the version is higher 5.something and mine stays at 3.25 without any update... since 2008??
Ovi Suite and Pc Suite doesn't offer me any update. I'm desesperate (I've past a few days looking in google without solutions (for example changing the date of the phone, or configurate the application manager (all, no control online of the certificates,...) Nothing nothing... I'm thinking about flashing it with an updated software, ultimate action of a desperate man. it's strange that a mobile "updated" can't install a program from Ovi Suite.
I have asked for sports tracker to be sent to my E5-00 phone about twenty times but still no success? What am I doing wrong the phone number is correct? Help and quick meant obe running tomorrow?
Is there a good app that I can get the football scores live (almost live)? I downloaded MobiTifo, but it doesn't seem to work properly. When I download it, it says that it has been successfully installed, but it doesn't appear in my list of apps.
I use lots of Sport tracker program. It should be possible to choose from settings that N8 phone's "light time-out" display setting is set OFF (now max value is 60 seconds ) as well as the "screen saver" (max value 5 minutes). While skiing I want to observe my heart rate all the time, and it is not possible from dark or un-bright screen. And it is difficult to touch the screen during skiing (and touching effects to the SportTracker's actions) for me because i use my N8 in my wrist like a watch under the plastic. In outdoors screen has to be bright. Although it consumes more battery, it is not a problem - battery can always be recharged after every workout. And btw: the new Bella's default screensaver clock is awful compared the old one. Where can I get the old one?
Is it possible to save settings on the 1020 Nokia Camera App so that it starts with these settings? I'm assuming it would mean altering the way the app is coded, or possibly using and add-on type of extension for it. I'd like it to start in 'Sports' mode as this is the one I use most often, and in my haste often forget to change.
I would like to listen to BBC radio 5 Live Sports Extra on my N8/belle. Nokia Internet Radio app doesn't have this station and I can't find any other app which offers it. Is the Nokia DAB attachment/app my only option?
I have searched and theres seems lots of messages on here but nothing conclusive. My N8 less than 24 hours old but won't play flash found on BBC news site. Also visited www.techradar.com and at some point was invited to update flash, but adoble site says there is no suitable version for the device. Following this the "Movie Teasers" trailers started to fail and lockup with "ERROR". This may be pure coincidence of course. I seem to be be doing and awfull lot of restarts of a device <24 unpacked.
ever since bbc moved to flash 10 a couple of weeks ago, iplayer and bbc news videos no longer work on the n900. so does nokia have any plans to fix this by providing flash 10 to n900 usersis there a workaround that can be used in the mean time?lack of a functioning iplayer is a huge deal in uk as that is probably the most viewed flash site in uk (equivalent to claiming that the phone supports flash but doesn't play Internet). so i hope someone from nokia would take it seriously and break their silence on the availability of flash 10 on the platform.
Very recently i read in a Mobile Phone Blog named http://dailymobile.se/ that a new firmware v40.0.005 is available but when I tried to update it through PC Suite i was amaized to see that no new update is found. If no update is found how they have uploadedthe screenshot of this update. I also checked my model type it is the same RM-356.
I've noticed a few people posting on Facebook fan pages for Nokia N97 orig and mini that the NEWS FEED and WALL pages are blank, yet you can login and view other pages such as FRIENDS, PHOTOS and INBOX.When refreshing NEWS FEED and WALL, the page refreshes with no error, but does not display anything.I changed all my facebook privacy settings to defaults in case that was the problem, but no luck. Also confirmed that the NOKIA application was allowed to access information in my facebook account.
I have recently bought a Nokia N8 with Belle and BBC iPlayer.
I can play BBC1, BBC2, BBC4 & Parliament live (& maybe others) but when I try BBC News live all I get is "Loading". I am using BT Broadband Wifi, I'm on O2 SIM free, and live in the UK.
Everything was OK on my previous N97. I can't seem to find anything about this on Nokia forums or the BBC. I have just put a query to the BBC but they don't guarantee to answer them all?
3 days ago my news feeds stop loading, updated app in social, in ovi suite updated ovi social, can connect to facebook on mobile via internet all works ok, through social i can see everything else but not updated, i posted to see a current log..social app said cannot connect to feeds, yet the message had been sent to facebook, i can see it through pc?
Just read on another page about the Lumia 920 having the option to hit the Bing search button, and then swipe to the right (Or left - can't remember), to get News articles. Guess this must be regional dependent (Or is it just on AT&T devices)?
