View 4 RepliesI've tried several times to download the app to my computer and keep getting the following message:
"zumocast-windows-1.41.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I am trying to download the zumocast app on my computer but my antivirus comes up and says that the app may be harmful to my computer?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just recently purchased the droid binoc and i have started using the zumocast with my phone and macbook pro.
I am able to stream photos, videos and music but I am unable to download any file to my phone and when I do my phone confirms file has been downloaded the file says failed and when I tried to retry it stops after a few seconds and says failed again.
I have also tried this with videos and music and it had the same result.
I'm still unable to download any files from my computer to my phone at this time.
If I am logged into my computer user account, Zumocast works fine on my Bionic. When I am logged off, and even if someone else is logged in to my computer, the smartphone states that my computer is offline. Is this how Zumocast was designed? Or, is there something wrong with my setup? I can see Zumocast not getting access if the computer is sleeping. But, I don't want to have to stay logged in when I'm away.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with your ZumoCast. I can download it no problem but it cannot connect to the interent. Now I must be connect to the internet, I just downloaded your program.
I have windows VISTA. I have turned my Av off, Firewall off and even the windows defender off. Your program downloads fast just will not connect to internet. I am using Cable ethernet plugged into my tower. I have a brand new Bionic and I would like to show off my daughters choral group singing.
Problem turned out to be Webroot. Had to find list of blocked programs and unblock Zumocast. add/delete program list of their AV and "add" zumocast. worked for me!
I just bought my Bionic Saturday and ive been trying to get Zumocast to work on my phone since I got it. I keep getting the server is offline. Ive done everything the support page said to do, and made sure my firewalls and everything were not blocking it. This was basically the majority of the reason why I got the Bionic.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have intalled and uninstalled the program. I have turned off my firewall and even uninstalled my AV, but I still get the message that Zumocast can't connect to the internet. My internet works fine and I have tried installing on my wifes laptop and it works on hers, so its not the router.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe only change is that I have moved, and have gone to a wireless network. I have tested on the web access via the PC and everything comes up fine. It just is not able to connect on the Bionic.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI cannot connect to app and web access says I have not installed zumocast, app says i need to install zumocast to proceed. have restarted phone and computer several times. have turned off and closed antivirus software. Cold my router be blocking access?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a large music library and it seems that I can't access all of it from the Music tab on the zumocast app (phone and desktop). If I go to files, I see and can play all of the songs, but not from the music tab. It's annying because it's easier to navigate via the Music tab (albums, artists, etc.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone (DROID 3, less than a year old) won't connect to my computer, and I'm not sure if the issue is the phone or the computer. I have done all I can do on Motorola's troubleshooting/guided assistance pages. Downloading new drivers, restarting, and updating software hasn't worked. I'm using a Gateway laptop with Windows 7, and before the holiday season just passed my phone and my computer got along fine. Now, not so much, and I haven't done anything deliberate to cause this. No damages etc.My phone will begin charging when plugged into any USB port on my computer, and the computer recognizes something happened but a little alert bubble pops up saying "USB Device Not Recognized" each time. I can't access any of my phone's files from my computer the way I used to be able to, AutoPlay does not start up, and nothing I've done so far has worked to fix these issues.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe way I understand it, the device is supposed to connect to the computer like a USB mass storage device and then autorun the motocast software, however there appears to be absolutely no support online for what happens if the device doesn't show up on the computer as a USB mass storage device. Mine completely fails to register with the computer other then to produce the BUH DUH sound that Windows makes when a USB device is connected or dissconected.
My computer is running Windows 7, I've tried rebooting the computer, installing motocast off the internet and rebooting, I've tried different cables, different ports, I've rebooted the device multiple times, nothing seems to work.
I tried to connect to my Droid Bionic to my computer today and it does not give me an option to connect via USB...it just say's charging. There is nothing in the notifications dropdown area and the drivers are not showing in the device manager inside windows 7 Pro 64bit.
I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted then installed them again but still nothing.
I tried this on 3 computers both 64 and 32 bit. The cable is good and it is the one that came with the phone. It does charge but no data transfering.
I have connect on my work computer (desktop). Does it log off when I am no longer in range of my desktop?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone is a Moto Droid 3.I turn on ZC, but after a while it just turns off. By itself.I've turned the screensaver OFF, the energy saver OFF, and hit the ZC setting "Never go to sleep." My computer does NOT go to sleep, and yet, ZC still closes, by itself. If it helps, I have an iMac.This is preventing me from actually being able to use ZC.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had great success opening pdf, Word, wav, m4a, Powerpoint, and videos using Zumocast on my Bionic. But every time that I try to open a jpg file, I simply get the twirling blue icon. I've let it "do it's thing" for as much as 15 min with no success.Zumocast is on a Windows Vista PC.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought my Bionic about 3 weeks ago and have had some issues with it. That is a whole other topic, we wont get into that. I am now having issues with Zumo Cast. I got it installed and set up no issues. Occasionally it will show offline but a exit and restart of the program seemed to to the trick. Well tonight I converted several types of formats for a video to see which was best on the screen and mirrored to the TV.It will play a video but if i stop it or try to change files it says it cannot connect server error. The icon on my computer, which is running Windows 7 64bit, shows its status as streaming. Even after closing the app, stoping the app in task manager, and signing out. Still shows streaming and stays that way until I exit the software. Restart everything and its fine until I try and change from one file to another and the same thing happens. If I am away from the house I cant very well close the PC program everytime I want to watch a different video. I have uninstalled the software on the computer and the app on the phone with the same issues.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a SkyTex tablet and when I try to install ZumoCast it tells me it's not currently supported on Android, even though it works fine on my Droid Bionic, which is Android. Is there some problem with ZumoCast working on a generic Android device, and is this something that will be fixed?
