Mar 9, 2010How do I configure Outlook Express on my PC? I am using my Verizon Blackberry Storm cell for my ISP. I need all the info, I'm not very computer literate, so forgive my dumb questions. What do I need to put in the IP address, TCP/IP, modem, etc. all the information required to set it up. I will mention I have yahoo already set up on my cell and PC. Just can't figure out how to make Outlook Express work.

Motorola Xoom :: Syncing Outlook Contacts Subfolders Using AES
Jan 25, 2012I just recently upgraded my Xoom to ICS and linked it up to my companies Outlook using Active Exchange. Everything is working fine except for syncing my contacts. I have subfolders under my Contacts folder (e.g. Work, Personal, etc.) that are not visible/syncing. Is there a way either within the native e-mail client or an app that will let me sync the contacts subfolders? I do not want to root the Xoom. My iPhone does this natively but I'm not sure that ICS can.

I selected an app and click install, I saw a notification popped up at the lower right corner showing "Installing" but after a short while,

May 4, 2011I've installed the MotoHelper driver 4.9, and rebooted. Restart the Windows 7 machine.. When I plug in the xoom it says installing usb driver and then says MTP USB device failed to install. Not only that, then my external wireless Microsoft Keyboard with usb bluetooth tranceiver and wireless mouse (non-bluetooth) with usb tranceiver both fail to operate. Seems like there is some conflict.

Aug 30, 2011i have a xoom 32gb wifi only device that i purchased from woot.com and i received the update notice to 3.1. i have downloaded and attempted to install several times now, each attempt has failed.
see attached image for error I have tried a Factory Reset (Settings -> Privacy -> Factory Data Reset), as well as factory reset at boot. No success.
I also tried the "wipe cache" command at boot and this did not result in a successful installation either. The only other choice at boot that makes sense is to "install update from usb", and when selected it goes to sdcard.
At this point I am seriously considering rooting, unlocking and then updating?

May 25, 2011I have a WiFi only Xoom, purchased and being used in the UK.I am unable to purchase and install Paid Apps at all, which is something I expected as an advertised feature.The symptoms I am experiencing include:No "Best Selling Apps" displayed in the Market App.Unable to find any Paid Apps at all through searching.o "Books" tab displayed.Attempting to buy via the web version of the Market I see the message "This item cannot be installed on your device."Most Free Apps install ok.A few common Apps that I can find via search (e.g. Flash, Blogger) claim they cannot be installed "in your devices Country".I cannot find the Kindle App at all even though Amazon have confirmed it is Free and available in the UK.

Jul 5, 2010I have just upgraded my firmware and then maps on my phone. To upgrade the maps I used maps_installer_3.04_10wk17_b07_s60_5.0.Nocs.sis. The install has worked as my maps interface is now different to the previous version. However I have no map showing at all, I can get the little red dot that shows my position, I can get my poition in lattitude and longitude, but that is all. At the bottom of the screen, left hand corner, I get a flashing gps icon with 0.00kb showing, which I assume is the indicator that is waiting for map data, but nothing happens after that.
I have looked on the maps bit of Ovi to try and find the map for my country (UK) but to no avail, it says on the Ovi page to open up Ovi, go to VIEW then maps, there is no VIEW! Also I cannot exit the application by clicking the X in the bottom corner of the menu. I have to exit by pressing the red button on my phone.
