I finally got 3.1, so I paired my bt mouse without an issue, and it is now displayed as "connected" on my xoom. Anyway, I see no pointer nowhere, so I don't know if there is a problem with my particular mouse (rapoo 6020) or it's that I don't know how to do something...
View 1 RepliesI have the Motorola keyboard and MS 5000 BT mouse. They each work well individually, however when used together, the keyboard frequently disconnects. When I go to a text field, the software/screen keyboard comes up instead of using the hardware keyboard. If hit a few keys on the hardware keyboard, then it seems to reconnect and I can continue using it. It disconnects again once I leave a text field. I'm using a 3G version of the Xoom, but without 3G activated, so just using WiFi.

Highlighting of text selections is not available, so cut and paste of text is not possible. The mouse can grab a widget in a window, and left click allows dragging right or left to a different window. The right mouse button seems nonfunctional.The Moto BT KB will function simultaneously with the mouse. I haven't had time to test BT audio yet.

I've been getting Bluetooth input lag when using mirror mode. I have a RII Mini Mouse/Keyboard combo which lags as soon as Mirror Mode is activated. The Mouse/Keyboard works perfectly outside of Mirror Mode. I also tried a logitech mouse (mouse only) and had the same choppy/laggy results. I tried both the RII and Logitech with wifi off, again with 4G off and again with both wifi and 4G off. This did not improve results.
I am using a mini HDMI to standard HDMI cable to connect to my monitor and TV. I get the same results on both screens. I have also tried at different battery levels with the charger connected and disconnected. This happens every time I choose something from "Select Dock Type". If I dismiss that prompt after connecting HDMI i do not have the lag (prompt is dismissed by hitting home or back button when prompted). If I do choose a dock type the lag starts and does not stop until i disconnect HDMI.
Might SII be waiting for passcode? But no opportunity to enter. Motorola btooth keyboard (part of same brand new boxed set as mouse) works fine. Mouse works fine with other devices.

I'm very happy with the product however, I seem to be unable make internet connection using my Vodaphone Australia mobile broadband SIM card. When the card is inserted and no Wi-Fi avaiable tha table seems to be connected to Vodafone 3G ( right bottom corner ) however I'm unable to browse internet nor can I do any other activities requiring internet access. The message I see says:
No Network connection
At this point I do not know whether there is something wrong with my xoom tablet setting or I shold take this issue with Vodafone Australia. I'm using same SIM card on my laptom and it all works.
One of the most desired features of this N8 phone for me was the ability to use bt keyboard and mouse. Now I bought the keyboard and mouse and what happened, nothing.Both devices are found when searching bt -devices. Keyboard doesn't even go to the pairing, it halts to password questions (where I type 0000). Then message:" Keyboard cannot be connected).With mouse, I can get one step further. When prompting password, I type 0000, the mouse gets paired, but when I try to connect, message comes:" Bluetooth connection cannot be created". Or similar cause the message is in finnish language. But I think you got the point. Items I have purchased are:

View 6 Replies View RelatedI currently have an Apple Keyboard and Magic Mouse hooked up to my Playbook. They work very well, the implementation is incredible. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to scroll with the the mouse. It really limits the PB since if I hook it up to my television I cannot scroll unless I have the PB near me. Has anyone gotten this to work or is this something we are hoping to get in a future update? Aslo, is there a way to select text and bring up the copy/paste menu without having to use the touch screen? I can select text by holding shift / arrow keys on the keyboard but am unable to perform any actions without having to use the touchscreen.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a set of Jaybird JF3 Freedom BT headphones (fantastic running headphones BTW!) - both the Motoactv manual and the device itself tell me that when the Motoactv and my BT headset are in range of each other and powered on, they will auto-connect. Of the 30+ times I've used them, this only happened once. Every other time I have to go into Settings - Wireless - BT Headsets-JF3 Freedom and hit the "Reconnect" button - then they reconnect right away. One random time, they auto-connected. I didn't do anything different than I normally do.

But then when I tried to send again, it didn't went through.The error says "Connection failure". Sometime when I power off my headset (Motorola HX-1 or H17txt) I notice the icon stays blue.his is bothersome becuase I'm not sure if something else is connecting to my phone. I check the wireless settings and all my devices will show Paired but not connected.Anyone else seeing this issue? I'm in NYC a lot and call me crazy but I worry about these kind of things. View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a xoom wifi/3g (not using a 3g plan) honeycomb up grade and i am having problems with bluetooth tethering. i am able to start the bluetooth tethering and everything works well fo r a little while. i am using my droid x2 and the sleep options are all off on noth my xoom and droid x 2. The bt connection does not drop but the bt tethering does eventhough the device bt tool box is saying the device i can unpair and pair again and the bt internet does not work. the only way it comes back is if i reboot the xoom which sucks.
