Now, I cannot use my phone at all because I cannot set up my phone's Motoblur. I even tried registering a new Motoblur account, but I still get the same error message: "An error has occurred. Please try again." My phone is basically unusable now. What can I do?

May 11, 2011is there anything i can do to improve flash video playback? after the 2.2 update i was excited to be able to use flash on my phone, but video playback on it seems so bad that it's unwatchable.it's like a slideshow at best, and at worse i'm only getting one frame every thirty seconds or so. oddly enough the sound never skips or stutters at all.i've tried it over wifi and 3g. Internet videos in the native app and other non-flash streaming media seem to work perfectly.i'm using the stock browser with flash player 10.2.157.51 (the latest one available in the android market), and i've tried several different videos linked from m.flash.com

Apr 26, 2011I updated my Milestone which is UAE version to Froyo yesterday after a long delay, was really excited all evening until i discovered two problems with my wifi.The Device does not connect to the corporate network as my office uses 802.1x EAP and there is no place to enter proxy where as my friends using samsung galaxy s (Froyo 2.2) connect to the network and browse using the wifi advanced settings to enter the proxy in their device.

Mar 12, 2012Have a brand new install of Windows 7 64bit and a 6 month old Milestone 2 which has always succesfully connected to PC/Mac in USB mass storage mode, but when trying to connect to new Windows & PC the PC tries to install MTP drivers that fail.Solution is to select the failed device in device manager and manually install the driver selecting the device as a USB mass storage device and not the default MTP device.

Jan 25, 2012After doing recent updates, the normal swipe-to-unlock feature of my Bionic stopped working. When I press the power button, I'm taken right to the home screen; I don't have to unlock. Even if I use Settings -> Location & Security and add a PIN or pattern lock, these do not work; each time I turn the phone back on, I go right back to the home. Sometimes the swipe screen flashes up but then disappears. The "Security lock timer" setting does not matter (i.e. it is set to 1 minute, but even after that, the phone is never locked. Occurs even after a hard reboot (shutdown, remove battery, power back up), although sometimes the swipe to unlock works for a short time. I've never rooted this phone or done much else beside install some apps from the Android Market. I do have Lookout running.

May 27, 2011After spending 2 hours on the forums and 2 hrs on motorola website, downloading the motorola software update and finding that the updater says that your phone is up to date with 2.1 (where as the motorola site says 2.2 is now available) and browsing thru unending discussions, I was unable to update my Motorola milestone to Android 2.2. I last week sent my phone to the service center to ask them to update it to 2.2, they returned the phone saying it is up to date.I am sick of removing applications and always worrying about the remaining ROM availability. [code]
If the official version is not available in Dubai can someone tell me of a shop where I can get it updated, as I dont really understand the concept of rooting and stuff like that.
Motorola Zumocast :: Stops Responding Through Web Interface
Jan 11, 2012I have two folders shared on my home PC (Intel C2D 3.0 / Win7 / 4GB RAM / 768kbps upload DSL). When I login to the web interface and try to play various things I notice a couple problems.
Fast forwarding through videos sometimes (even on the same file) doesn't work (and once displayed some cryptic error if I see it I'll update this post) Going to > Music > Songs sometimes loads all of my files (5,000 files) or sometimes loads 400 initially and stops. Clicking on another tab like Music > Files shows the PC is offline, then clicking back it is back online again. The zumocast.exe client on the PC stopped responding. I had been trying to play files on a remote PC when it stopped working then I came home and tried to go to the configuration to see if it was responding but it wasn't.
It seems like the client gets lost when trying to buffer things, it needs some sort of reset command when activity slows or maybe the web interface should be able to send a stop/start to the client. It seems like a TCP/IP issue with the host program. Perhaps the web interface should prompt the user when loading large directories. E.G if files are more than 500, show a pop up prompt in browser "show more?"

Jun 30, 2012I use Motocast both on my phone and my web browser (when I'm on a PC away from home). The problem I'm having with the web interface of motocast is that when I go to my Videos, the directories are sometimes wrong but they are listed correctly on my phone. Here's an example, when I go to my videos I click on the TV Series directory. That takes me to all the directories in that folder, but, some of the Sub folders in there are showing up in place of the parent folder. So instead of the Firefly directory, I have a directory named Season 01.

Oct 7, 2011just today i did a factory restore to my phone running the 2.3.4 software and after reboot, where i had to give my motoblur data, i first set up wifi, than put in my account and password and did log in, it took unusually long ont eh progress bar and once it came al msot to the end it said there are issues signing into motoblur and i should retry, tried that twice to no avail, the only option i had was to turn off the phone, once i turned it on it already skipped to the location consent, with allegedly being logged into my account, but it wont load my settings from motoblur (ie the launcher setup or the speed dials in the dialer). I havent tried with a different account, since i wanted to get my settings back?

I've used different sim cards - I know this isn't the problem They said without a receipt I was stuffed - didn't matter that the phone was completely new (Sony Ericsson: if you have a new phone - they'll take the IMEI and will honour the warranty if a new phone)
I got a call back 5 min after the phone call They told me to update the software - the phone was due an update
I updated Yeeee ha! The phone lasted 1.5 minutes - and then started rebooting

It's just a matter of personal preference really, mainly because I prefer to have 5 icons in the dockbar and an drawer that scrolls horizontally page by page (how do you find what you want quickly vertically?). The other customisation options - 4x5 homescreens, 5x5 app drawer that can be rearranged, transitions and skins - are also great too.

May 20, 2011I upgraded my motorola click to android 2.1 based on the instructions provided through motorola's web page. I checked all faqs and troubleshooting and have not reached a solution. After the phone restarted I was instructed to log back in to motoblur and now it is saying "the account does not exist on the blur service". It is also saying that when I try to retrieve my password from the motoblur portal. I know I have the right email address for my motoblur ID, but it appears my account has just disappeared. I haven't tried calling anyone yet because I know I will get passed around back and forth from Tmobile to Motorola. It seems there is no way to retrieve a lost id in case I have the wrong one. I did however go into the phone before I did the upgrade and verify that the motorola blur id was the email address I thought it was.

I usually use for calls and check some emails (I do not reply those emails from mobile) only.From last 2-3 days its not charging properly, when I plug in for charging it stuck on some %, e.g. I plug in on 25% battery and even after half an hour I found it on 25% itself or 31%. (Some time battery % get down e.g. plug in on 15% and after 15 mins its on 12%)Also should this kind of mobile should have such kind of problems in 6 months only?
