Apr 21, 2012I have just updated my iphone for the first time in about 6 months and the process has lost my tomtom app; which is the main thing I use on the phone.

Jun 7, 2010The TomTom car kit is currently available only for the normal iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S. As iPhone 4G is a newer product from Apple, it has not been tested for the TomTom car kit. Hence we regret that we will not be able to comment on its compatibility with iPhone 4G as of now. However, we are getting a lot of requests from customers regarding the same query and we are in a process to release a iPhone 4G compatible version of TomTom car kit soon.

Jun 18, 2010When you first use HD Traffic you set up a username (email address) and password. If you go to the "Traffic" menu in TomTom on a second phone and log in with those details it will work fine but inactivate HD Traffic on the first handset. AFAIK you can swap around as often as you like but it can only be operational on one phone at a time.

Feb 28, 2010I received my iPhone last week and it came unlocked/jailbroken with TomTom V 1.0. I was really stoked since my other GPS unit was ripped off. Anyway later on in the evening I synced up the iPhone with iTunes and transferred over all my contacts, apps, etc. Everything appeared to transfer over. However when I looked in my Applications section in iTunes, I saw no TomTom. I at first thought that iTunes had deleted it but after looking at my iPhone, the icon was still there and the app worked just fine.
I see that there is a v 1.2 with nice improvements and I am getting no indicator of an update. Anyone know whats up. This is a bit annoying.

Oct 13, 2010I seem to be able to establish a Bluetooth connection from the Satio to the TomTom (Go 720) once as paired devices with a trusted connection, but the next time I try to connect it does not work. If I delete the TomTom connection from my Bluetooth devices in the Satio, then I can do it once more, putting in the code and authorizing the connection and it works for a while. After the TomTom has been switched off and the connection has been lost, the next time I switch on the TomTom I cannot connect. I never had this problem with my previous phone (Nokia) and the same TomTom device.

Mar 12, 2012iPhone 3GS, 32 GB, nearly full memory (only 0.58 GB free, although there was 3.6 GB of 'other' memory in the bar shown in iTunes).
Started the update from iOS 5.01 to iOS5.1, downloaded to phone OK, phone rebooted, now it's stopped at the point where the silver apple is shown with an empty progress bar.
The phone does show up in iTunes at this point, correct serial number / phone number, but shows the entire memory bar full with the yellow 'Other' memory category.
The phone won't finish booting, can't get to the user screens on the phone.

It was network locked to O2 but when I came home to the Philippines I had it unlocked to use here in our country. The battery life was bad with iOS 5 and a little better with iOS 5.0.1 and that update was troublefree. The promise of improved battery life with iOS 5.1 tempted an upgrade on Friday last, first recharging on the Saturday morning was troublefree and battery life was much better. Tuesday afternoon the charge was down to 30% and the minute the device began recharging, the Home button stopped working, the Restart button stopped working, and there was no charge preview on the screen.

Mar 18, 2012I have a 32GB iPhone 4 with about 2GB free and recently updated to iOS 5.1. It has become noticeably slower since updating it. There are some short delays with certain apps, some have become jerky and the Home button isn't as sensetive as it used to be. But the worst part is the camera and the photos app. The camera takes For to load before it's ready to take a picture, and switching to video takes even longer. I've waited up to a minute before either one is ready for use and sometimes have to wait 10 seconds between shots! Also the Photos app has become really buggy and will sometimes crash, especially if I try to edit a picture. This is not cool. I've tried turning the phone off and on. I've tried resetting it (Home+Power buttons). Next I'm ready to try throwing it in a bucket of water to see if that might work.

She sent it over from Canada to the Philippines.At the first time i used it, my local sim card cannot be read by the iPhone, so my aunt said that it has to be unlocked.So i had it unlocked. I recently updated my iOS 5 to iOS 5.1 because of the interesting updates it has and so as my friends told me to upgrade.Now I have a problem that when I turn the phone on, I cannot activate my phone. I think that it would be impossible to be unlocked because it wont activate by itself. I do not want to waste the iPhone, it is the first iPhone that I have. I suppose that I am not the only one having this problem. I stored a lot of important stuffs in my 3Gs that helps me in my studies.
