When I try to download and app, I am prompted to input payment verification info on the account settings screen. The screen automatically refreshes itself every 10 seconds or so, not leaving me with enough time to input my info. Because of this, I can't put any apps on my phone.
my mum has been on my account and without me knowing put her credit card information onto billing information. Now it is asking for sedurity code and all sorts of things and now i cant sync my phone to my account, i dont want to create a new account because ive got a whole heap of apps and music.
I want to buy apps online, but my credit card is from outside of ireland. If I change my location to the country my creditcard is from and buy the apps I want, my phone will not download them as they are from another 'store'. I cant seem to change the store that my phone buys apps from either. I wanted to try and buy a gift certificate instead, but I can't seem to do that either without a credit card in ireland, which I don't have.
I recently bought an Iphone 4S and tried creating an Apple ID but was not successful because I don't have a credit card. What I did was I just registered using my laptop and was able to create one without any credit card details. However, when I tried using it on my Iphone, it still asked for a credit card which again, I don't have. I read on some topics here that you need to initially put in your credit card details and then just change it to no credit card afterwards. How can I do that if I don't have a credit card at all. It's sad that Apple assumes ALL people have credit cards.
After buying several apps in the Ovi Store using my credit card I was really surprised that Ovi Store does no longer accept my credit card because I'm not living in the US! (I'm requested to fill in a US address otherwise I cannot proceed.)
So I ordered mine from Apple.com on about 2:00 PM PDT. The status is now "Prepared for shipment". But my credit card is still not being charged. I wonder if this is normal? I never see any activity on my CC website regarding my order (no pending payment, no pre-authorization stuff). My CC is Chase.
Has anyone here done this on thier iPhone? I thought I'd seen a post or link with some good info, but can't find it now. I'd appreciate any insight anyone has. (Our home business has never accepted credit cards before but would like to start.)
