So, I have a 3GS that I bought a year ago and just loaded iOS4 when it came out. Two issues are: Phone randomly wakes up when iPod is on when I'm listening to music. It happens when it changes songs. It doesn't do it with every song but every now and then, I'll notice the lock screen light up and it shows the current song playing and everything. I thought it was because someone was trying to call me or I was getting a message but there's nothing there.
Also Yahoo! mail is having mail pushed to the phone when I have all settings for push off within the e-mail settings. Anyone have any issues like this? I really don't want to but should I just restore the phone again?
I purchased music on itunes on my iphone and the songs won't show up in my music library on the phone. They are on my computer itunes library but it won't let me transfer the purchases back to my phone (which I have never had to do before). Never had this problem before this week when purchasing music on my iphone. My Itunes library on my laptop is slightly different from my Iphone library so I don't want to erase and sync the entire library.
Sometimes, when I listen to music, the volume of the music on 3gs decreases randomly and does not come back to the volume it should be at, untill I get a text with my phone on loud. I have a 3GS?
I am new to iphone and when I sync it to itunes I have none of my music. I was hoping that I would be able to transfer over my ipod to my iphone but none of my music transfered. How do I transfer it?
how do you transfer music from an ipod nano to an iphone4 without having to pay for it, the music on the ipod is from downloads and has not been purchased from itunes
I already use my old Iphone 4 strictly as a ipod now but I was wondering if it was possilbe to use it to text in wifi areas without any voice or data plans?I know the new ipod touches have a way to send messages but wasnt sure if I could do the same thing with my old phone.
I just upgraded my IPhone to OS5. I cannot find IPOD app to download. Also, I have a new "Nike + IPOD" app that I cannot delete. (I can't hold it down until x appears."
I recently bought an iPhone and I already have an iPod touch but I never connected them to a pc, I've bought all my music on iTunes and I thought that once I registered the iPhone in the same account that all my music would sync on the iPhone but it. How to sync the music from the iPod touch onto the iPhone without using PC basically.
Sorry if this has been posted before, but whenever I'm listening to the iPod and I go into Settings the music stops. Bug, or does Apple have it set this way?
When I plug in my iPhone 6 Plus to the USB and connect as iPod, I cannot play music I've selected through my vehicles infotainment system. I have a 2013 Honda Accord. All previous versions of iOS have worked almost flawlessly in this car and my last one. However, since purchasing the iPhone 6 Plus, I have had nothing but problems with using my car as an iPod connecting to the audio system. Sometimes it just says "loading"... this flashes back and forth, but it never loads. Other times, it will load, and I can browse my music and podcasts.
However, when I select a song, it will not begin playing. I can go to the "Now Playing" section of my Music app and see that the song I had selected has been chosen, but I have to click the play button on my iPhone to make it play. I have Siri Eyes free, and it construes to work. However, Siri seem to be getting less useful all the time. This whole issue has really got me upset. I paid $1,000 for this phone. It is supposed to Just Work.
I assume it is a software issue; I wish the would get around to fixing it. I, personally, find this unacceptable. This is a core function of the phone. I don't really care about health apps... Apple Pay is cool... but they should not do a single thing that messes up the core functions of the phone. Being able to connect to my car and listen to music is why I paid Apple's ridiculous price to upgrade to 128 GB or RAM. This is like upgrading the software and not being able to make phone calls for 3 months until they finally release some random software update.
Can i transfer music and video from my Ipod to my new Iphone 4s Using the Itunes drag and drop facility. If now then how to transfer the music from ipod to my new iphone 4s..Can i use bluetooth and transfer applications and music from a iphone 4 is this possible.
I know there's supposed to a shuffle/repeat option on my iPod... But there isn't anymore!! My songs are stuck on repeat =( this has happened before (still don't know how) but I fixed it...
The music on my iphone is randomingly turning off or the volume will cut out and it will still play. I'ved tried shutting it down and resyncing with no luck. I'm about the hit the restore button but want to see if anyone has other ideas to try...
Recently upgraded to iOS 5.1 on my iPhone 4 - since doing so, music stops palying randomly while in sleep mode - thought it was the headphones, so tried another pair and the same thing happens... On a 32 minute train ride this morning, I had to press play at least 12 times.
I have an iPhone 4S running 7.1.2 and it seems to randomly try to download/ play songs that I have bought in the past but do not have in my phone.Â
I have "show all music", "show all videos", "Automatic downloads (for music, apps, books, updates)" turned off in the iTunes & App Store tab of Settings.
I have "show all music" turned off in the Music tab of Settings.
I don't use iTunes Match or iCloud and only add/ remove songs (that are not new purchases) to the iPhone via my laptop.Â
When I plug into my Appradio in the car and go into play ipod and shuffle songs all of a sudden it's trying to play songs I haven't downloaded or listened to for years and the same happens when I plug in my earphones and select play shuffle with the music app. It starts trying to play songs that I have not put on my phone. Sometimes it will skip over them, sometimes they start playing.Â
My iphone has been working normal ever since ive had it. But randomly yesterday as i was on my way to work all my music except for 70 songs i recently purchased in the store was gone. Which is strange cause i was listening to my ipod like 5 minutes before i left my house. Almost 2000 songs gone. Ive restarted it several times but to no avail.
I have an iPhone 4, and it is probably 3-4 years old, and has no obvious extrernal problems except that the lock screen button doesn't work. That stopped working about 3 months ago, and i went to the apple store and they said there was nothing to do about it. They also looked at the iPhone and said that there were no problems with the battery life or anything (it was a dot in the greenest section on the picture for battery life). but, since then my iPhone had been randomly turning off. At the beginning, since my lock button was broken i would just plug it in, and it would turn on about 2 mins later saying very low battery, but it would go straight back to whatever charge it was before in a couple of minutes (usually about 50%). Â
But today, it randomly turned off while i was using the calculator. I tried pressing the home button, but nothing happened. I plugged it in, it made the 'plm' sound it does when it charges, but the screen turned black. Â
I think it was maybe a problem with the display. Because i have the apple headphones, and i used them to make the music play, and it did, i just couldnt see the screen. About 3 hours after it turned off (no screen on, but still music and sound), it turned back on again fully (with the screen). I have already been to the apple store about this matter, and they said they essentially have no idea why its happening. Usually it turns back on when it plugs in, but today it didnt.Â
I have a Nokia X6 16GB. Loaded around 1000 songs on it, but now I can;t find the search function anywhere. Is it possible to search for a track, or artist or album on the X6?
When i'm on a call, with the phone to my ear, the screen wakes up and FaceTime/Speakerphone suddenly turn on. Anyone else getting this? And I had the 3G before so i'm not 'holding it wrong' or anything..
i am using iphone 4S. lately, while im listening to music (app or pandora) using my earphones, Siri randomly pops up. what do i do to stop this from happening?
it is possible to transfer your music library from a 1st gen Ipod touch to your itunes library on a Mac book pro. I have alomost 3000 songs as well as playlists on my Ipod and cant find anyway to transfer theses to my itunes library, meaning i can't add them to my 4s.
Does anyone know of a third Party S60 music player sincing iTunes' song rating & play count information with the phone's music library ?I mean: it's already possible to sync iTunes' playlists with Nokia's Media Sync on MAC (and with Salling' Media Sync) on PC, however there is no option like with iPod/iPhone to rate a song while you listen to it on the go. Did I miss anything ?
the quick version is my home button rarely does anything any more and the screen wakes up by itself from being asleep after anywhere from 3 seconds to 12 seconds.Non-rooted Galaxy S6, by the way. I did a factory reset last week, just because things were getting sluggish. It went well, things were back to speed, and I reinstalled the essentials I wanted. Last night I noticed my phone kept waking itself up over and over again. Then I noticed the home button wasn't doing anything. I rebooted it and it didn't change a thing. After a little more time, the power button also stopped responding. I couldn't even do an emergency reboot with those two buttons disabled. I even tried sticking it in the freezer for a few minutes to see if it was too hot. Google told me about the on screen menu thing to emulate the softkeys so I was able to use that to get around and do reboots.
I hadn't installed any new apps in the last 24 hours, but what the heck, I did another factory reset. I had the option to restore all the apps and settings from 1 day ago, so I chose that. The problem still was there. Dang it, I thought I should not have restored those apps, so I did another reset, this time a totally clean one. The problem not only still happened after the reset, it was doing it during the reset, if the screen went to sleep during a step in the factory reset, the glitch would wake it back up in a few seconds.
I decided last night to just turn it off and charge it fully and hit the Sprint store in the morning. Oddly while charging with the phone powered off, the green battery display would go off and on the whole time it charged.
In the morning I turned the phone on....and NO problems. (of course) For 2 hours not one glitch. So just before leaving for work it starts happening again. Another factory reset at work and a system update from Samsung and still, the problems are there.
