IPhone :: 4 Doesn't Show Up Under 'Devices'
May 8, 2012I am trying to transfer the photos from iPhone 4 to my Macbook Pro but I can't find the device under 'Devices'. I can see it in iTunes, however. I am running 10.6.1 so restart, re-install and all that jazz is tried and tested with failure. Anything beyond that I should try to see this as a USB device?

May 7, 2012I've tried everything, unplugging it, changing ports, restarting apple mobile device services, everything. My iphone will connect to the computer and charge, but that's about the extent of what it will do. It won't connect to itunes, it won't even show up as a driver on my computer. ITunes was working a few days ago and all of a sudden it just stopped working. I just got a new iPhone and would like to put music on so i don't have to carry around an iPHone and iPod.

The only thing that I can think of that's changed is that I updated my iPhone to the most recent update. I tried my friend's 4S too which also has the newest update and it also doesn't work. I'll try another friend's iPhone 4 later today (who also has the same update).

A ipod touch 4g with a camera can record 720p video with a 1mp cam..and yet my phone kills its in hardware can't record 720p? Its can't get 16m colors either . so disappointed in Sony....its bad enough that call quaility *****, and in-call volume blows, now a lesser tech records better than my phone....when the embarassment stop.
