when my young children are using facetime talking to their mother they always inadvertently hang up on her. is there not an app that will allow me to lock the screen to preclude them from hanging up? or is there another way within the settings parameters to accomplish the same. basically, i just want to be able to talk to someone, put my phone in my pocket and not inadvertently hang up on them.
My screen rotations became locked somehow and the icon confirming that appears at the top of the screen. Unfortunately, the prefs for turning it back on do not appear in the general preferences window. I've tried resetting/restarting by pressing the two buttons to no avail. iphone 5 running iOS 7.1.1

my iphone 4s shows a notification under "settings - general - software update" it has an image of a number 1 beside it. i understand that it needs a software update and i currently running iOs 5.1, but when i start to click the "software update" the phone then checks for update but it tells that my software is up to date. and still leaves the small image of a number 1 in a red circle at the upper right portion of "settings" what should i do to update the version of my iOs into 5.1.1 ? and to get rid of the "red number 1 image" which indicates notification. i am downloading the latest version of iOs(5.1.1) in itunes but is it really 802.8MB? its kind of huge..

I bought a used iPhone 4S but I cannot add or delete apps or music.  Cannot reset as no tab is found under General. And I do not have iCloud PW of previous owner. I thought whom I purchased from was reliable but may have been taken. How to resolve problem if solvable or how can I found out if phone was stolen? I have purchased other used before without such a problem.
I have activated Personal Hotspot with my carrier AT&T. I cannot find Personal Hotspot listed under General>Network setting. I have tried to Reset Network settings but it is still not appearing. I am running an iPhone 4 with the latest iOS 5.1.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, Personal Hotspot does not show up
I have recently purchased a Blackberry Bold 9700 mobile, I was having an Bharti Airtel (Mobile Service Provider in India) SIM card already, which I was using with my previous phone. The problem is that I am trying to activate the general GPRS service (not the Blackberry services) on my phone, but I am unable to get the settings from the Airtel for activating it, in-fact they say that your handset is not compatible for that..! I am very much deceived because of that, I thought I have purchased on of the best mobile set and service available, but it doesn't seems. Even I tried to activate the plan of internet and got the message after that "You have activated the plan", but still I am unable to access the service..! In-face I received a message after some time from Airtel saying "Your phone is not provisionable"..! I do not understand, how a advanced smart phone like Blackberry which has everything inside it, can be incompatible for a simple service like GPRS?
