I accidentally synced my computers photos to my phone. The box to check the photos I want to remove on iTunes is not showing up. What do I do bc now I have 3000 pics on my phone that I can't erase.

I recently synced a folder of photos in My Pictures to my iPhone 4 via iTunes. 68 picture...21 were taken in a portrait rotation, the rest were landscape. I had no trouble with the landscape photos. But, after the sync, 5 of the 21 portrait photos had the wrong rotation From my basic troubleshoot...they are not all rotated incorrectly in the same direction and I confirmed that they all have a similar resolution as at least one of the correctly oriented portrait photos from the same sync. Editing and saving the picture directly on the iPhone is not an option because I am only given the option to save an edited photo to the Camera Roll album. It is extremely frustrating. Why does this process ignore the native orientation of only some of the synced photos? I'd be less confused if it mess up all of the portrait photos.

I recently pruchased my first MAC, a Macbook pro. I hooked up my iphone to sync all the music i have on it and the only thing that will transfer is some of my "purchased" songs. Thats about 150 of 650 songs. I have tried selecting "sync all music automatically" but it tells me by doing this i will replace my iphone library with the computer library meaning i will lose on 500 songs. I had a Dell PC before this and never had trouble. It crashed so i am unable to access itunes from that computer.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a new MacBook and I transferred all of my music, movies, pics, ect over from my Vista machine. I plugged my iPhone in to the MacBook to resync the libary to the MacBook but, the iPhone doesnt show up in iTunes.
But I plug into my Vista machine it still is recognized in itunes. So far everything I found in the iphone and itunes forums pertains to problems with the iphone not being recognized by a windows based computer, its almost as if no one has any problems getting their mac to "see" the iphone. Just for info I an running Snow Leapord on my macbook, Vista on my HP PC, and 3.1.2 JB iPhone 3Gs.

Have an iPhone 4 wich is synced to an iMac, sync includes, iCal, contacts, notes, music, photo's, movies, music, etc... The works.Problem is, I am currently travelling with my Macbook Air, with no library or syncs, and need to add an additonal Movie onto my iPhone, I realise if I connect it to my macbook, and check *Manually manage.. The artists are still listed under "artists", but their albums and songs are gone. All the music is listed under "songs". How do I fix it back to the way it should be? This issue is only on my iphone, itunes on my laptop is normal, playlists are there and full of the songs I put on them.
