So I just updated my Iphone and had some trouble synching my apps. I finally got the apps figured out and now I can't get my purchased ringtones back! Every time I try to synch my tones it says that doing so will erase all of my music, movies, and basically everything off of my phone. I really don't want to have to try to set all of that back up again.

I've been notice that my purchased ringtones not appear on the next day on my iPhone 6.
Because of that, how do I claim my money from apple for this matter?
I do not have Mac OS for iTune store to transfer the ringtone files for the next purchase.

How do I access my purchased ring tones?

I feel silly for asking this question but I've spent an hour now googling to death how to transfer ringtones I've puchased from iTunes onto my iPhone 3GS. I've done everything possible. I've renamed the files to M4R as suggested from m4u. I've just dragged onto the iphone in devices and not in the music library or ringtone library and nothing. Under the Ringones tab on the iphone when connected to iTunes shows no ringtones.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem getting ringtones from itunes onto my iphone. I purchased about a dozen ringtone sounds and also bought the ringer. They show up in itunes under ringtones but don't show up on the phone even after I sync. I have everything automatically syncing. I'm running the latest version of iTunes & am current on my phone software. I'm on Windows.

I am a new iPhone user and purchased some ringtones on iTunes. This then showed under Purchased items. I then proceeded to sync my phone and especially clicked on the tab that says ringtones to include that and clicked on apply. When I look on my phone and go into my ipod I can see the ringtones that I purchased under my playlists but how do I get them from my playlist to use them to assign them as ringtones to my contacts?

I have purchased a couple of ringtones from itunes but they are not showing up in my SettingsSoundsRingtone folder.
How does a person get them into that folder or have the iphone 4s recognize where they are so access can be gained.
Currently they can be seen in my Music app and when my phone is connected to my iMac I can see them in Devices iphone purchased area.

I have purchased and repurchased several ringtones from the iTunes store. They will show up on my phone but after a while they just disappear. When I connect my phone to my computer, they are listed under Tones under my device but they are greyed out. Under Settings and Tones in iTunes they are not listed at all.

My bluetooth shutter release worked before on my iPhone 4 after few days I accidentally clicked forget device,
now the bluetooth device does not recognise or find the device?
I have an iPhone 5 that I accidentally left in my pocket when I went swimming a couple months ago. Yeah. 20 minutes under water in my pocket rendered it useless. I tried the rice trick, but it did nothing, so I opened it up and let it sit in front of a fan for a few hours. This may have solved most of the problem, but I accidentally dropped it while it was open, and the screen ribbon tore.Â
On a on a whim I tried plugging it in to charge and I got the vibrate indicating that it was charging. After an hour, I plugged it into a laptop, and iTunes came up, but I couldn't connect, since the phone was asking if I trusted the laptop, and I couldn't answer, as the phone's screen was nonfunctional. So, rather than pay $700 for a new one, I opted to try replacing parts.Â
I bought a new screen and tools. Replacing the screen was easy, and lo and behold the phone worked! However, the ear speaker did not work, and the battery drained in 1/4 the normal time. So I bought a new battery and ear speaker / FaceTime camera assembly. After replacing those I noticed that the battery still drained fast, and also noticed that the forward facing camera did not work, so I bought a new camera, hoping that the fast drain was because of that. I've now replaced four parts (for a total of $100), and the phone works fine, except the battery still drains very fast. For instance, if I'm at 100% when I go to bed, and all apps are shut off, when I wake up it's at 50% or less.Â
is there an app or some sort of something that can look at the details of power usage in my phone and let me know if any parts are shorting out or require replacing? Clearly my phone is no longer under warrantee since all three water sensors (well, two, I guess, since I replaced the screen) are red, and four of the parts have been replaced (all Apple OEM, by the way).Â
