Mar 29, 2012
i try to unplug and re plug and my iphoto says theres no pics to upload and calls it "apple iphone" when my iphone has a name and itunes says"the iphone'___my name____'s iphone' could not sync because the sync session failed to start."
it just started doing this today.. i dont want to restore my phone because i will lose my pictures..
My original computer died, and I don't have a phyical back up of my data. If I try to sync the device to a new computer will I lose everything currently on my phone? If so, is there a way around this?
My IPhone 4s was working properly and will NOT sync to my PC using Windows 7 or Windows XP, Latest version of ITunes Available, and everything updated. I updated my IPhone to the latest version of IOS available yesterday, and now it will not Sync. Nothing else has changed but the update was made yesterday, I have turned my phone off and on a couple of times, tried turning the WiFi on and off, restarted my computer, tried 3 USB Cables, but nothing. I have two screen shots attached of progress bar and error message received. Sync Session Fails to Start?
I have a new Macbook Air replacing an old Mac. How do I sync my iphone 4s to the new computer rather than the old one and mantain everything that I have on it now?
My computer crashed, now I have a new computer. My iphone was originally cynced with the old computer. Now when I try to cync my iphone, I get a message that all my music will be deleted before Iit is cynced.
I am trying to sync my 3gs to my computer, i have authorized it already. It starts to sync then gets to "determining which apps to sync" then just stops.
i just got my iphone 4 and i want to sync it to my computer. but i all ready had an ipod touch synced to it and i want the music and dont want to erase my contacts what do i do. like i dont want to lose my contacts when i sync it for the first time, if i set up as new iphone will i lose my contacts
I've been sync-ing just fine for 2 years and suddenly when I try to sync, I get this error message, "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile device service is not started."
I just got a new computer. Its a macbook pro and I synced all my old stuff from my old computer so I have all of my music in my library but iTunes doesnt seem to recognize my iphone and I cant sync it to get my new music.
Currently I have an iPhone with my 2008 Macbook. I'm going to be getting rid of it soon but I would like to still be able to use my iPhone like normal. I want to switch it to my Windows desktop. How can that be done? Am I able to copy my iTunes library to another machine? Do I have to wipe it first?
I have a broken Windows Vista laptop, an iPhone 4 with broken WiFi and a new Windows 7 PC. I'd like to backup the data on my iPhone somewhere, but the wireless iCloud backups won't work because my phone has no WIFI, and the old laptop I used to use no longer works. So, does anyone know of a way to get my phone synced up with the new computer without erasing everything on it?
The main computer I used to sync my iPhone with, broke down so I'm using another one. Then I downloaded music from some CDs onto that computer and into iTunes but when I sync, nothing changes. Also, most of my music has the little exclamation mark next to it (and I know why) but is there anyway to just download the music I don't have without erasing anything that might not be saved on my new computer??? How? Whatever solutions, I need them!
