Apr 8, 2012I`ve reduced my emailaccounts and the one I had on my Iphone as appleid I changed on apples page on the internet to a emailaddress I actually am using.
Now I cant change it on the Iphone! I`ve tried to reenter it on apples page (I hadnt/havent yet deleated it) but its not possible, why? I cant make a copy with my files and music etc because the emailaddress is wrong on the device...:-(
I dont dare to turn the phone off because I might not be able to open it!!! And to erase the account on the phone I suspect all my content will disapear and not be ably to use the iphone anymore!

Dec 10, 2014I changed email address for Apple ID and iCloud, as well as password. I validated on PC but on iPhone, it won't let me change the email address. I went to Settings - iTunes& App Store, I was able to update Apple ID and password, but for iCloud, it will not let me change Apple ID, just the option for deleting the account with old email address. What can I do?

May 14, 2012My daughter recently used my iPhone 4 to purchase apps. She changed the Apple ID but now I cannot change it back to mine. On Settings>Store, the ID is mine. I logged out, switched off the phone, logged in but when I go to App to update and purchase, the ID is still my daughter's. Appart from the fact that I shouldn't have goven the phone to her in the first place

May 29, 2012I need to change my Apple ID in the App Store. I have it changed in SETTINGS>STORE. But when I go into the App store to buy or update anything my old e-mail address shows up for me to sign in with and it won't accept the password! May 27, 2012I have struggled over this for days. I recently lost the internet provider on my old internet account which was my old Apple ID. I successfully changed my Apple ID in ITunes to a new permanent email address. I cannot change the settings on the App store or ICloud. The suggested solutions for this problem have not worked for me because there is no option for changing the old Apple ID. When you tap on it, it does not change. I have tried signing in with the Old Apple ID (the old email account) and it doesn't work either. I have synced my phone (and lost my contacts in the process but that was an entirely different headache!) to no avail.
Some of the solutions stated that I should go to the store and tap on the Apple ID and it would allow me to change...no such luck. Also when I tried Iforgot, it would only let me change my password which is not really any help because the problem is the Apple Id.

Jun 16, 2010Anyone have similar experience? I preordered 2 16GB Blacks on @ 5:15am yesterday. I received email confirmation on both Apple IDs I used, however, my store (Oak Brook, IL) does not show my reservation on the main website, but does confirm my reservation on the iPhone App? Is this sufficient backup to secure my phone on the 24th?

Jul 25, 2010I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?

May 4, 2012This week I tried to join Itunes in order to set up my new Iphone. When entering my personal information it prompted that ai already had an account set up.I thought perhaps I had done this in the past and forgotten about it, so continued and asked for a password re-set which was emailed to my address. With password and account set up I proceeded to set up my Iphone. It was only when I tried downloading Apps I noticed it was picking up Apps in Australia and not UK.
I went into the account details and saw the details of person with exactly the same name and year of birth as me living in Australia, not in the UK as I do. I had access to everything, credit card details, DOB, security questions, the lot. I promptly deleted all this and replaced with my own details and changed passwords again. As soon as I could I called Apple who said it was probably an error and said that the account was for my email address so now all the details are changed it should be ok.
