IPhone :: Change From One Library To The Other On My IMac
Apr 8, 2012
I have 2 libraries in iPhoto on my iMac, one personal and one business. The library which currently shows in my iPhone is the business one. I would prefer it if it showed the personal one. I know how to change from one library to the other on my iMac but how do I do it on my iPhone?
recently my imac needed to have its harddrive replaced... so i pretty much have a brand new computer which means i lost my itunes library. but my iphone still has the entire library on it. how do i return my itunes library from phone onto the computer?
it is possible to transfer your music library from a 1st gen Ipod touch to your itunes library on a Mac book pro. I have alomost 3000 songs as well as playlists on my Ipod and cant find anyway to transfer theses to my itunes library, meaning i can't add them to my 4s.
I wanted to change my phone ringtone and notification ringtone earlier and I noticed the option to choose from my music library is not showing up. I restarted several times to no avail
After adding files to my N79 using the Mass storage option in mu Music Folder, my N79 is refusing to add the song into th music library. can anyplease help me in regards to this issue.
I recently updated my N70 Firmware to v32 using OTA update. but his prob has been there since b4 doing the update.
ok so over at the imac discussion i succesfully got rid this malware flashback trojan on me imac.i think i downoaded some adobe thing on me iphone.can i fix it like i did me imac.worked great by the way.
I've checked the iPhoto help, and it says to go to turn on photo stream on my iMac. To do that I've got to open system preferences and click iCloud ... only problem is that iCloud isn't in my system preferences list. There's Mobile Me ... but no iCloud.
I'm using Lion (Mac OS X version 10.6.8) - i've just done all the system updates too.
Can anyone recommend what I can do to get iCloud on my iMac?
I have a Mac but all I want to do is open up the photos and video I took from my phone and back them up on my computer and my hardrive. It is wanting to sync with iPhoto but I would lose all my current pictures.
I recently bought a new iMac but I have an iPhone and an iPad which I used to update and sync on my old laptop. I want to transfer everything onto my iMac now without loosing my music. I had a go with my iPad but lost most of the music and some it won't sync. How can I transfer everything to my iMac and not lose bits?
I just got a new to-me imac. Just totally cleaned the hard drive, added Snow Leopard 10.6.3. When I plug in my iphone (which use to be on a pc...) itunes doesn't show it on the left. My iphone still says it's waiting for the name of my old pc... how do I get this to work? I'm updating all software now, but figured this should have worked by now...
When I use iTunes (11.2.2) to back up my iPhone 5c IOS 7.1.1 to my iMac running Snow Leopard (10.6.8), I get a pop up alert saying there is not enough free space on this computer. There's close to 100GB of free space on my hard drive, is this an issue that's related to Snow Leopard? I'd rather not update my OS since I'm running an older version of Logic, which could very well become compromised if I update to Mavericks etc. Is there a folder or a file I can delete to stop this?
Whenever I sync my iPhone 3Gs to my iMac, the photos on my iPhone never transfer to the iMac. Any suggestions as to how I can configure so that the pics move over?
My iMac is not recognizing my iPhone on the desktop, however iTunes sees it when I open it up. Why won't my iPhone appear on my desktop? And I have already marked the CDs, DVDs, and iPods in the preferences of what appears on your desktop.
Just got a new iPhone 4S and after I synced all of my contacts from my iMac,I realized that I really didn't want to put ALL of the contacts in my computer on my phone. (I have WAY more contacts in my computer than I need/want on my phone). Is there a way to "go back" to the original contact list that I put on my phone before I synced the contacts from my computer, or do I need to go through and delete them one by one?
I use my iMac as an Apple TV server via home sharing. I travel a lot for work. My wife is computer illiterate. Is there a way to create a one touch "app" looking button on her iPhone that she could hit that would do the following:
- Force Quit / Kill all applications on the iMac - Force Restart
I know it seems simple to tell her to go to the computer and restart, but sometimes when she does that applications get hung up and the computer doesn't restart. I have automatic login turned on, so I just need a way to restart the computer without any real user intervention.
I have an iMac and a iPhone. I used iPhoto to transfer my camera roll pictures to the mac. my mac got the blue screen and I ended up having to erase and install from my CD. In the process i lost iPhoto (Im using SL).All of my photos are still on the iPhone under "events" but i am afraid to sync to the pictures folder and have them all get wiped. So, Any way you know to import iPhone events to the iMac?
Whilst my iphone quite happily connects to the internet via my router it cannot see my iMac hardwired to the same router. As a result since March 29th it has not been able to sync via wifi with itunes or sync to SOHO Notes and Daylite/Billings. All of whch worked brilliantly before.
In the iTunes WiFi sync pane on the phone Sync now is sometimes greyed out and other times it is vailable but when selecting sync now it states it is looking for my iMac and then it times out. From the Mac trying to re-pair SOHO notes and Daylite Touch the iMac cannot see the iphone as available on the same network.
Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7), iPhone, iPad, iMac, Mac Mini
I have inadvertently deleted all my contacts from both my iPhone and my iMac. I must be able to retrieve them from somewhere! how I get them back on my phone.
