View 5 Replies View RelatedWhy is this happenning? I am facing lot of problems in my SE Neo V mobile. I updated my phone officially last week. The problems are serious and so irritating. The older version of android 2.3.4(Gigerbread) was gud when compared to this newer version of ICS. I am Facing these problems.
1. My phone dialer is too slow and takes more than 5 econds to open a dialer.
2. Unable to forward messages since it gets stuck in the contacts adding option itself when I use the forward option. And it must be Switched off and On to get back to home screen. Or else i cant message any 1 else.
3. Anything being copied to any folder using Computer show a message saying that The device is currently being stopped and cannot copy files.This is the most irritating part that i encounter always.
4. Any game like HD is not woking. It either crashes down or the application doesn't get opened at all.
can anyone please tell me How to fix these errors?? I am really Facing so many problems like these with the newer Version of Android ICS 4.0.3.And i read that using sony PC companion and also update service setup v could fix these bugs.. But doing this will expire the warranty of my phone??
The dialer in iphone4 is really slow.it takes time to activate the buttons on the screen. Which is sometimes annoying

My 3G has a firmware problem (error 28) and apple has offered to replace it for $200 (no contract). Since they are discontinuing support for everything 3g and older, will they still have a 3G to replace it with? Reconditioned unit maybe? Or will I get lucky and get a newer 3GS or 4G?

I am having a wierd problem with my iphone 4. I had to recently restore from my backup and ever since I am unable to click on any URL or Phone# within the notes section of the calendar entry! It would not launch Safari to open the URL or launch phone dialer to dial the number!The URL and number are formatted correctly. These appointments/calender entries are sent by other people to me which I had accepted earlier before the restore. It used to be running just fine and this anomaly started all of a sudden now.
When I pause for 1-2 seconds on the hyperlink it does present me the option prompt to open the URL in Safari or to Copy the URL. Selecting the option to open in Safari does not do anything and the option prompt closes.
When I pause for 1-2 seconds on the phone number, it does present me the option prompt to dial/copy/etc... and selecting "call xxx-xxx-xxxx' option actually flickers a bit, shows the prompt again and then switches to the phone dialer. But this is so annoying that it wouldn't recognize single short touch to open the phone dialer immediately!I have restored my phone twice now & synched it up many times but this issue still remains.

Turning brightness low, turning everything off. The battery still drained.I came into the store today; low and behold I got my phone restored, didn't help. Instead of just presenting the option to open the folder to view files in trying to access her phone all of his data was downloaded to her phone. All of her contacts, settings etc are no longer there on her phone.

I have an iphone 3gs and still have warranty on it. I don't talk on it much at all. I use the internet and text and listen to music. the most i use the internet is about 30-35minutes a day, sometimes less. I have everything turned off like Bluetooth and fetch data and even 3g. I can go probably 6 hours and do nothing to loose all of my battery. I literally watched my phone go from 90 to 79 in 30 min. just listening to music.

i got an iPhone 4 from America as a gift (i live in UK) and recently i was using it as a sat-nav on my motorcycle when it fell off doing about 40MPH. Luckily, the mounted case took some damage, and only the front screen is cracked all over (pretty much all gone at the top, however the display is fine, therefore i believe the LCD would not be replacing). It isn't under warranty any more, i don't have any sort of cover, so i was wondering what the one off charge would be from apple to get the front glass replaced?

I never had the battery drain problem with my iPhone 4S but recently over the past month at least my battery seems to have degraded abnormally quickly, not the battery drain some had, but as in its simply not holding as much charge anymore & I got it on Oct 26, 2011.. if anything I would guess its abound 82% of its total capacity ALREADY & going by Apple's battery tips on their site it should be at 80% total capacity after 400 charge/discharge cycles, im lucky to have gone past 140 of those at best (was trying to count then lost the count). I have always followed proper battery care tips, the once a month full charge/discharge, dont let it get hot, leave out of sun etc. I still have the regular warrenty till Oct 26, 2012, would Apple replace my battery for no charge? If so I would want to do this soon before the warrenty is up.. This is concerning after just over 6 months my battery has less capacity than my 3GS did after 1 year of use.. & im a light/moderate user.

The wireless internet speeds on my 32GB iPhone 3GS are painfully slow.I have an Airport Extreme router and my MacBook Pro and iPad are both great. Here are averages from 10x Speedtest.net (or their app) runs:
MacBook Pro: 15 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up, 70ms Ping
iPad: 14 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up, 90ms Ping
iPhone 3GS: 3 Mbps down, 0.5 Mbps up, 600-700ms Ping
When I ran the speed tests, each device was the only one operating on the wireless network at the time. I also tried 2 other speedtest apps on my iPhone and they produced similar results.Do you think Apple will replace my iPhone, or will they just tell me it's operating normally and to deal with it?
