Is there any way to stop the iPhone from exiting to the home screen after each and every bloody purchase? I do not get why it does this, it seems more like a bug than anything else. It is quite frustrating and bloody annoying. iPhone 4s

I'm using Nova Launcher. Whenever I exit my applications with the home button, it directs me to the homescreen selection/dial (not sure what the appropriate name is). . :/

It seems that Steve Jobs just might be sobbing tonight as the Amazon AppStore slips from his totalitarian grasp. In one of his many recent litigation attempts to stab Android with a wooden stake, it seems he came up empty handed.Today, Apple's preliminary injunction filed against Amazon for naming the Android AppStore was denied in court. I guess Mr.Jobs doesn't own everything he thinks about or writes on a napkin. Here is the press release today:"The court finds that Apple has not established a likelihood of success on its dilution claim. First, Apple has not established that its "App Store" mark is famous, in the sense of being "prominent" and "renowned." The evidence does show that Apple has spent a great deal of money on advertising and publicity, and has sold/provided/furnished a large number of apps from its AppStore, and the evidence also reflects actual recognition of the "App Store" mark. However, there is also evidence that the term "app store" is used by other companies as a descriptive term for a place to obtain software applications for mobile devices."

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

Whenever I press to go to my "Home Page" I am asked to select between Home and Easy Home - I select "Always" for Home but it continually asks me to select between Home and Easy Home most of the time.
Always isn't always on my phone?? I have gone through everything multiple times - to be able to Disable Easy Home is greyed out on that screen.

Furthermore, mysteriously, I'm not allowed to install programs on my iPhone through my mbp (itunes) When I try to update the apps to my iphone that i downloaded on the computer it says unknown error. Today I downloaded the most recent iOS update and (4.1 i guess) and it still doesn't work. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what could i do about it?

App was on my iPhone, but it wasn't downloaded, just App (witt download stuatus on) and under it was text "Waiting...". I tried several apps and two accounts and on Wi-Fi and on cellular network but always the same, only once i got message "You've already purchased this but it hasn't been downloaded. If you're having trouble downloading it, select Check fo Available Downloads from iTunes on your computer, then sync with your device.". When i tried to download the same app on my PC it downloaded normally (but i want to be able to download and install apps directly on my iPhone).

All the other menus or navigating around the phone is smooth as silk. I do run a live wallpaper but changing to a static one it seems the same. With all the horsepower this phone is supposed to have I expected those screens to just to fly by smoothly.
I bought my white iphone 5s like 2 months ago! The problem is that 2 weeks ago from nowhere i got the white screen of death for 5 seconds and then it returned to usual home screen, i thought it was normal but it happened again like 1 hour ago! I did some research and found it was an ios 7 bug that Apple supposedly fixed with ios 7.1.1 update!
