Why does any music I play thru headphones, be it music player or Internet radio app, sound like it slows the tempo after playing for long periods of time?
Info:iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, Stock music player, pandora radio
My Iphone stopped outputting sound out of its ecternal speakers.I can only hear music when headpones are plugged in.Essentially, the iPhone thinks the headphones are still connected and will continue to output sound only through the headphone port.I have tried to "convince" it that nothing is plugged in.It is stuck in headphone mode and nothing can be heard out the speakers.I think it might be something to do with the dock connector and the soffware telling the phone it is docked.I have tried everything.Restoring to new will not work.I did a hard reboot, I have tried resetting it ont he phone setting, did and update through iTunes, did a complete backup and restore, tried unplugging and replugging the headphone jack in and out, and the Rep at the store tired spraying compressed air into the ports and is it still stuck in Docking Station Mode with NO external audio.
I've got my iPhone 6 before 4 days ago. After playing music I found that my iPhone 4 headphones volume is maybe 20% higher when listening music (testing with the same apple earpods). I checked "Volume limit" and "Sound check", but it was the same. I wonder is this a hardware bug or a software bug? I'm sure about that because a friend of mine has iPhone 5s and I know that is louder than the iPhone 4... There's no way iPhone 6 to has lower output volumeÂ
I have an iHome Bluetooth speaker and I also have a new Bluetooth surround home theater. Now, I know it is a bit of a stretch asking if I can connect both Bluetooth. I would like to know if it is possible to use the headphones jack without muting it, so that I can connect it to my Bluetooth as well.
The sound on my iphone wont work with text messages and music but works with calls and headphones. Didn't do anything to it was just sitting there and it happened so i dont think a setting changed. and the volume bar wont show up when i press side buttons or in the music?
So I got a convoy, its decent. trying to play music player with headphones. got a 2.5mm to 3.5mm convertor - it's only mono and connection isnt the greatest. Got one of these: http://www.fommy.com/view-full-page....60&skuno=81071 that does nothing at all.
ok, I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem but i just updated to the latest software version. My problem is that i can't listen to music using my headphones, I've tried a whole bunch of different ones and I still experience the same problem so it's definitely the phone.I tried searching online but nobody seems to have the same issue. When I play a song, it plays for a second, maybe even less, then it stops. I press play and it happens again.
I got a Xperia X10 upto date with Android 2.1 update1 recently but I found that I cant listen to the music using the headphones. The headphones work when making calls or for that matter I can also listen to the ringtones or any sound other than music with the headphones.
I am going to smash my phone into a thousand pieces soon as this has sent me crazy ! With my headphones on I press the voice button and to add an artist, for example "play ed sheeran", it then makes a one track playlist of an Ed Sheeran song. If I double tap for the next track or say "next song" it obviously starts the track from the beggining as it is the only song in the playlist.
If I physically pick any song for an artist on the phone (without using voice command) I can skip the tracks with my headphones. Is there a way to simply say "play artist" and then skip to next track with headphones ? Also voice mate doesn't work with 3rd party software like poweramp properly as you can only ff or rew. I'm am being stupid (wouldn't be the 1st time) or shall I get the hammer and smash the f+&k out of the phone.
My curve suddenly stopped playing music through my headphones? I don't know if I accidentally turned something off or what. I was listening to music in the morning through headphones, charged my phone, and when I went to do it again in the afternoon the music will play through the speaker and not the headphones... I tried to reboot by taking out the battery etc., and that didn't work.
My music was working perfectly and then randomly it stopped. I've tried three different headphones, but all the music is played out of the phone's speaker.
One of my headphones has controls to stop and start music, and that works, but it will never play music into the headphones. I've tried turning the phone on and off as well as cleaning it. I've tried listening an audiobook off of overdrive, music, and youtube. I have an htc one mini....
I have just purchased a Sony Z5 (2 days old), when trying to listen to music through a headset or via Aux to Aux in the car, the music also comes out of the phone speaker.  I have cleared the data from the SMART CONNECT app and i have done the usual IT solution of turn it off and back on again, but this hasn't worked.
I am trying to listen to my music thru my car stereo on my nexus 5 it shows on the stereo auxiliary but the phone call or music dosnt come thru. I have tried on three stereos
When I play music without headphones the music sounds normal, but when I put my earphones in the music turns high pitch, not like a buzzing noise, but the actuall music is high pitch, and a little faster as well.
On my iPod I use regular in ear headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, but also have a dongle type thing in line with them so I can control the volume, advance songs, that kind of thing. Is there something for the Motorola phone like that? I have been looking all over. I use my phone while running and want to skip songs sometimes. I tried a few Bluetooth headsets and they allow this function, but none are comfortable or sound all that great.
I used to have the standard set of issues with my Bionic (data drops, restarts, etc.), but thankfully, after receiving a refurbished unit and upgrading to ICS when it was pushed a few months ago, my issues have been resolved.
That is, until a few weeks ago.
Recently, I have experienced music played through the headphone jack cutting out for 2-3 seconds, then playing again (the song continues to play as though nothing is wrong). The issue tends to happen once every 30 minutes or so. I've experienced this issue with Google Music, Amazon MP3, and Pandora, and it also applies to both streamed/cloud music AND music stored locally on the phone. I have already tried cleaning out the headphone jack for debris. Also, I know it isn't an issue with the headphones, as they play audio from my computer without any issue.
I'm about 2 seconds from returning my Xoom Family Edition. I am furious at the fact I can't do something as simple as play music with the screen off without hearing static and constant clicking through my headphones. Only when the screen is off, too. Is this a common problem? Even my first gen single-core droid X doesn't behave this way when I play music using the very same apps with the screen off. It handles it fine, no clicks, no pops, no static, no bullcrap. Why is my supposedly "powerful" machine
My bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work. I have only recently bought it and it has never been dropped or damaged.
My problem: Some days ago I noticed that there is something with my cable-connection at my W760i. When I hear music with Headphones it sounds very strange. Sometimes the singer is away and I can only hear the Background music or the music is only on one ear. I've tested the cable if the problem is there, but no it is ok. And the charger and the PC-cable are working without faults too. So there must be a Defect at the phone, I think. I want to send my W760i to Sony Ericsson, because I've still warranty, but I can't find any address.
I have a really bad problem with my Galaxy S5. My S4 was fine until I updated to Lollipop, so I think that's the problem.
I'm playing music with headphones plugged in, Whatsapp notification sound plays through speakers.
That's fine.
BUT suddenly during notification, the music ALSO plays through the speakers for a few seconds! This is really frustrating because I receive messages throughout the day and don't want everyone around me to be disturbed with what I'm listening to (in library, on bus, etc.).
Nothing I try works.
Before Lollipop, Whatsapp notification would play on speakers and audio still through headphones. That was fine.
I'm trying to transfer videos and music to and from my 1520.
I plug the phone into the USB cable, the phone software launches, select explorer, navigate to my sd card, wait for it to refresh, goto the camera folder and wait forever for thumbnails to draw. When I start to scroll through all the photos and videos, I barely get to the videos I want to transfer on to my pc.
Most of the time I give up and upload them to onedrive and download them, which is just stupid way to transfer files.
Every since the jellybean update I've had nothing but problems. The device is always running slow, it is not smooth like butter there is a lag. And when I'm listening to music its cuts in and out as if it were a scratched cd. I've tried doing a factory restore and it didn't help. That's what Verizon suggested and it didn't work. Also Verizon's fix to everything is to send out a certified refurbished phone and I don't want that. I bought my phone brand new and I know nothings happened to my phone I don't want to a phone I know nothing about. Also I've noticed that not one of all the call recording apps work on the droid razr hd.
