When I connect my IPhone 3Gs to my PC, iTunes recognizes my phone, goes through the four steps and so forth. It syncs photos and apps, but doesn't sync the songs I have in iTunes. How to I get it to sync the music?
I think I am the only person who wanted to see a To Do list that syncs with iCal and Exchange from 4.0, but again I'm disappointed! Are we ever likely to see this on the iPhone, I had a PDA with this functionality 10 years ago.
I recently upgraded to software version 5.1 for my iPhone 4 and version 10.6.0.40 for iTunes for Windows. Ever since then regardless of when I sync, even if it was one minute ago and no changes were made, either 188 or 193 songs sync and they seem to be the same ones. I tried restarting my computer as sometimes that seems to fix these little annoying glitches but that didn't work.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1, Windows 7. iTunes 10.6.0.40
Every evening I turn off my iPhone 4 to let it charge. In the morning when I turn it on I always heard the notification chimes of incoming texts, voicemails, and emails. Now I just get incoming texts and voicemail. I don't receive incoming emails from Hotmail until I go into my mailbox. It asks me if I want to connect to a wifi signal. I say cancel. It searches and then it brings up my new emails.
When I create a calendar on my macbook it automatically syncs with my iPhone, but none of the events on that calendar sync with my iPhone. How do you fix this and make it so everything syncs.
I am looking for a stable and extra safe platform for my IPhone and mac to store sensitive data (bank account no.s, passwords, receipts, certificates, ids, cc etc.). It will have to sync preferable over the air, have super strong encryption and allow a variety of files. I've really looked deep and hard for this, but I haven't come away with an impression that one is better than the other, or that enough users are vouching for it, hence I am posting to the forums for experience. Off the top of my head what seemed to stand out was meo, lockbox and 1 password, but none was all around convincing or had enough good references. If there are any users that have a contrarily approach to safety (the people who think a laptop with no WiFi that never connects to the network being the only solution). I would love them to chime in, because it's important that we try to establish a realistic but practical approach to our data that will safeguard them.
I have had similar issues in the past when I had to deal with itunes match. I havent even turned it on with the new restore, yet still my audio books will sync and transfer but dont show under my music app. Anyone else having this issue?
I purchased my iPhone about 5 weeks ago and since its first few hours alive, it has been repeatedly crashing, up to 15 times a day somedays. The phone feels a bit warmer than usual. There doesnt seem to be anything specific causing it. Some times the phone will restart itself, some times I have to manually restart the phone using the power and home button for 10 seconds config
it will not turn on it shut down by itself and came back on a couple days ago and then the home button didn't work it shut itslef off AGAIN, this is the 4th time if i plug it in it won't turn on if i reset it it won't turn on itunes won't recognize it
I am using iPhone 4. Suddenly its not working. I don't know why. But if I connect to the charger its open but its showing me connect to the iTunes and if I disconnect the charger my iPhone is off. Its rebooting again and again when i try to restore it.
My Iphone 4s keep on reboot every 2-3 minutes, iOS Version = 7.1.2, any solutions for this? No matter it's running an app or idle mode, it will keep on reboot. What causing it, this problem just suddenly come. I even erase all and reset all setting.
My iphone keeps dying and I have to restore my iphone repeatedly. I just restored as a new devise last week. Today I tried uninstalling and installing an app that refused to open and all my apps disappeared even the pre-installed ones like mesaages, itunes, phone and such? Is it time to get a new phone?
As of this morning, everytime I connect my phone to my computer it rapidly connects and disconnects. After searching the web far and wide I've only come up with dead ends. Before today it worked fine, I don't think it's the cord because it works when i tried it with another computer and works when I charge my phone with the wall charger (which I'm forced to do now). Error messages have popped up like 0xE8000001 and 0XE8000065.
The daily on my ipad said not to get the latest update it causes the screen to go on and off repeatedly. is this still the case? is it safe to apply update?
Every time I connect my phone to my laptop (Windows 8 system), iTunes tells me it can't read the contents of the phone and suggests resetting it. basically bordering on the obscene amount. If I had to pick an actual number of times, I'd say at least 20 over a week's time. Every single time I set up the phone, either from a back up or as a new phone, neither option fixes the problem, iTunes says it's syncing and then syncs nothing to the phone like it says it has. I usually try syncing a few more times just in case, but it never puts anything on the phone. I've uninstalled all Apple programs from my computer and re-installed them, I've taken my phone to the store I bought it at and had a completely new phone sent to me, I've reset it a billion times, I've turned it off and back on again, I've made sure to use the eject button every time I unplug the phone from the computer, I've checked to make sure I have the latest software updates, I use the cord from Apple and not a copycat version, and still every time (except for right after reset, before unplugging for the first time) iTunes says it can't read my phone and I need to reset it.
My iPhone 4 has lost Safari and camera. They just dropped off yesterday while I was going about the day using the phone as I normally do-not syncing, not adding or deleting apps, it was fully charged, etc. I did a restore from my MBP (all software up to date; up to date IOS). Everything looked good after the restore/sync. But, after I disconnected the iPhone those two apps disappeared again. This is weird. Syncing my wife's iPhone to the MBP works just fine.
My iPhone 5.0 is repeatedly going blank, lighting up with a white background and a black apple logo, displaying stripes and different colors and going blank again. I can't access any of my apps or use my phone. I've tried turning the phone off and on. I've also tried holding down the power and menu button together. The problem is persisting.Â
In the past week or so, I have noticed that my Outlook (for Mac 2011) calendar is syncing to the wrong day on my Curve. All of the inconsistencies appear to be custom reoccurring appointments (every fourth Monday etc.). All of these reoccurring appointment seem to land on the first week of the month - so a fourth Monday lands on the first Monday etc. This seemed to happen before I attempted to resync the device.
I have backed up my Curve, deleted the calendar files and resynced the files. I am using BB dektop software 2.1.3.
I just bought a new vehicle and synced up my Icon via the Bluetooth. Everything seems to have connected (contacts, Xbox music). The only problem is that old folders of music (pre Xbox music)that I used to have, but deleted are also synced up.
I have a BB Tour with Bell Canada, and recently, our company recently updated our BES server.Ever since the switch, I no longer can sync my BIS server emails. So on my BB, I have my company's BES email(lotus notes), and that syncs up fine...if I delete an email from my BB, it'll delete on my desktop, and vice versa. But for my BIS emails(hotmail), when I delete from my BB, it will not delete the email from my hotmail account...or when I delete from my hotmail account, it'll not delete on my BB.
