IPhone :: How To Restore Hidden Icon On The Home Screen
Jun 4, 2012
I have not used up even 8 out of 11 home screen by grouping different apps into one folder. I then installed another app but it can only be found through "search". If I reset the home screen, all groups are gone. Kindly advise how to get the hidden installed app back on the home screen. I am using an Iphone 4s, running on iOS 5.1.1.
After months of 'umming' and trying to justify the cost of getting a Blackberry, I eventually was able to justify getting one yesterday after I got out of the car and my phone fell out of my pocket and smashed Anyways, I had the default options etc on my Blackberry as it is when you normally buy one, with the Calendar icon on the homescreen.I was playing (Without doing much damage - or so I thought) and it just disappeared all of a sudden. Completely gone.Is there anyway I can get it back via a restore method or similar or is there a system folder where I can restore the icon back to the menu/homescreen?I have looked for hours on end and cannot find it anywhere or work out how to get the icon back. I definetly didn't delete it (I don't think ) - I don't even know how to delete icons!
My wife has Facebook on her new curve as I do on my pearl. She is able to get her Facebook messages to show up (the screen after you click on the Facebook icon from home screen) and also get the message indicator on her Facebook icon. I am not able to do this. The Facebook option "Leave email notification messages on mail server" on both of our phones is checked under Menu Options. Any idea how I can get messages to show up on that first screen and the indicator to show up on my Facebook icon on my home screen? She has OS 4.5 and I have 4.3 in case that makes any difference.
My phone icon disapeared from the icon tray on home screen into the application folder. I can not figure out how to put it back on the bottom icon tray on home screen. I also just updated my phone today. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

How do I get the Photo icon back to my home screen? I don't know how I managed this - but my lovely 'happy' photo icon is gone from my home screen and I can only access it through the double click - I would like it back on the home screen.
Not to sound too picky but does anyone else feel to switch on bluetooth is a pain in the backside, as you have to trudge through a number the menus? Is it possible to move this icon to the home screen? I've checked but i cant seem to find an app that places an icon on the home screen and is linked directly to the iPhone function, does this even exist?
I've noticed that my most important apps are starting to be updated on the App Store with high-resolution icons, and those apps happen to be on my first page of apps. Facebook and Wikipanion are now hi-res, so now I'm waiting for Scrabble, DirecTV, Guitar Toolkit and Tab Toolkit to be updated, after which I'll have an all hi-res first page. Which updates are you waiting for to make your first page of apps look perfect?

Yesterday I've noticed one strange icon on my home/start screen that wasn't there before. It's right next to my alarm icon and it looks like space which have up arrow above it. (just like combined space and shift symbols on keypad) What does it stand for? Should it be there, and how to turn that off?

I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 and yesterday i tried connecting to a WiFi network at home. I was able to connect to the WiFi network successfully however there appeared a BB icon on the top right hand corner of the home screen next to the WiFi icon. it is not there always even when the Wifi is on, it appears sometimes and goes off and then again comes back. This is the first time am seeing this icon, can anyone let me know what is this. Also, when my Wifi is active, how do i ensure that whatever i browse is done using the WiFi and not the data service.
