IPhone :: How To Restore 3GS With New Bootrom To Factory Settings?

i purchased a new 3gs phone recently without contract but locked to a provider. it already jailbreak it with blackra1n rc3 and possible unlock it with sn0w (i have to test with different provider sim to see if it's unlocked yet?)though i know i have a tethered jailbroken iphone (need to hook up to computer after a reboot) it works fine with wifi and gps but no Internet atm
my phone spec: 3gs 16g
version 3.1.2 (7d11)
model: mc131c
i realize that this is not my phone and i want to return the phone the apple store to get a full refund (still 14 day of purchase period)? how do i restore to its factory settings without any jailbreak bread-crumbs?

I have a small problem with my Iphone 4 5.1 - modem firmware 4.12.01 and I had it just replaced two weeks ago and it was locked and not activated.
After working on it to activate it (don't have the original sim the mobile was locked to) I decide to restore it to factory setting, as it was when replaced. I tried with Itunes but it gives me error 3194 putting it in a loop and later I tried to do it via the device itself (settings > general > reset > cancell data and settings) but it got stuck on the loading circle for 5-6 hours so I pressed together power and home to shut it down.
So what should I do now to restore it to factory settings? I don't know what to do and I don't want to endanger my warranty (if it is still on at this point!!!).I have windows 7 and tried with a different usb ports or with no firewall but to no avail.

I want to restore my iphone 4 jailbroken to its factory settings but when i click on restore on pc it starts downloading the new 5.1 version, so i just want to ask whether its ok to go ahead , or it can give me sum problem later as my iphone is jailbroken and i cant update the version directly.

Everytime I plug my iPhone 4s into my computer and try to sync with iTunes, I get an error saying, "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone "xxxx", Go to the summary tab in iPhone options and click restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings". I have done this and still get the same problem. I use Windows 7. I have tried running both on and off administrator mode and with and without my Zonealarm firewall. This phone has never been jailbroken.

I've gone as far as done a restore to original factory settings and the problem still persists. I've removed all apps that could use the camera, such as flashlight. Nothing has changed, the camera screen appears grayed out and won't take photos.

There is no audio on phone calls on my iPhone 4, not through the earpiece, speaker, headphone or bluetooth. I have completely reset the phone to factory setting with no change. When a call is made or answered the speaker button is highlighted without selecting it, but no audio is heard. I have used a different SIM just in case, no change. I'm wondering whether a full restore to factory settings does not actually reload the standard apps like 'Phone', Safari', etc that come preloaded. Therefore if the phone app is corrupted a restore will not fix it. Does the Phone app can be deleted and reinstalled?

my nokia 500 is giving me problems since i upgraded it from ANNA to BELLE i cant get into the OVI MUSIC app on my nokia i have to go through the nokia web site to get in and i cant get into QUICKOFFICE i have contacted NOKIA SUPPORT and thay told me to do a soft restore i have tried it but when my nokia reboots i get a error msg saying something wrong with widgets i dont want to do a full format as i dont want to loose the upgrade i did from ANNA to BELLE?

I just bought nokia c3 for a week, I accidentally click the restore factory settings and then entered the password, after that, all my files gone, the communities, ovi store, and other features of the phone. the original theme color on the phone is green, white and blue right?
Then after restoring the theme become gray and other features gone, and the worse thing that I cant use the internet although I have wifi connection. The goto address and other menu in the internet gone, the only remaining is home, browser and web services.
When I click home it says check home page address, when I click browser, it doesn't work
also the web services. The community, ovi store, and other features gone, all tones gone, all themes, all games gone, nothing left.
