IPhone :: How To Remember A Forgotten Bluetooth Device
Apr 21, 2012
I accidentally select "forget this device" on one of my recent connected bluetooth device. Now I can not pair with that device anymore. How do I remember that device again? note that I am using an iPhone 3Gs and its software version is 4.1 (8B117).
I need to restore a iPhone that we are no longer using. The trouble is we cannot remember the password for this old device and Find My Phone is turned ON the device. In order to restore the device, Find My Phone has to be OFF but in order to turn it off, you have to know the password. Vicious cycle!
My device is locked and i've forgotten the password. Tried a couple ones but only have two tries left! how to get around this and maybe reset my password?
I can't remember my device Password. I am on the 5th attempt and the message is stating that if I try the last attempt and miss it, it will delete all my data on my device.
Can't remember back up PIN. Battery removal didn't resolve. Went to android device manager and changed the password, but the old back up PIN question pops up and I can't get into my phone.
I have got Curve 9300 with OS v5.0.0.977. I am unable to receive anything using Bluetooth from the paired device but sending anything to other device is OK.
The Bluetooth of my bold 9780 stop connecting to other Bluetooth device and other device can not see my Bluetooth too.Have tried all possible means, yet is not working.
I have a Nokia 2680 and I fully charged my bluetooth earpieces. On my phone, I set the Bluetooth on, gave my phone a name and selected phone's visibility to all. When I try to add a paired device to add the bluetooth, it gives me a message saying no device found. The bluetooth earpiece is right next to the phone. Can anyone help?
In Hardware Manager, it shows Bluetooth Peripheral Device x(2) with yellow exclamation points. Every time it tries to install, it cannot find the driver files. Where can these be found?
I want to get a bluetooth handsfree set for my car as I clearly don't want a ticket. The problem is that I have an iPhone 3G and it does not support voicedial so I still need to use the phone to make calls. I want to get a speaker (not headset) but was wondering if there are ones that can do voicedial internally independent of the iphone's inability to do it. Is this possible? I'm having a pretty hard time finding any good information on this.
I was looking at the parrot slimkit mini but can't figure out if this does what I am looking for.
Any info on this model or other ones that will do what I need would be greatly appreciated.
I have an F150 with sync. I have had my iphone4 sync'd for over a year and it has been great. Until yesterday. I hit forget this device on the phone and now the phone can't find the truck and the truck can't find phone. How do I get the phone to unforget the truck?
How do I restore a bluetooth device ignored by 4s? I accidentally hit ignore my imac and have tried resetting network settings. The imac can see the iphone 4s but 4s cannot see imac.
I have an iPhone 4s on iOS 5.1. Its bluetooth seems to be working 'coz it is able to pair with my Mac, AND nothing else. It is unable to discover nor pair with my iPad or any other gadgets in the house.
BTW, my hubby has exact iPhone model and OS, but its bluetooth is working fine and uses it regularly with car's FM transmitter. He can't see my phone either, and I cant detect his.
I just got an iPhone 4s and I did manage to get my Platronics 975 headset paired without too much trouble but there's one thing I can't figure out. On my old LG phone there was an option to drop the connection (without forgetting it) to your Bluetooth device when you weren't using it and then reconnect when you wanted to use it. How do you do this on the iPhone 4s?
I have paired with a PArrot hands free car kit. The pairing works fine. But every time I start the car and the car kit turns on, it takes very very long time before the iPhone detects and pair with the car kit. I am pretty sure that the problem is with the iPhone, as the pairing happens automatically and very fast if I go to the iPhone's settings menu and turn bluetooth off and on again.
how to speed up the iPhones recognition of the bluetooth device?
After upgrading to 5.1.1 - my handsfree kit connects with iPhone still fine, but it has become impossible to hear any calls through it?! Whereas, I used to have an option to "choose audio output" (iPhone, speaker, or handsfree device), there is now only the standard built-in speaker option - as though no Bluetooth were connected. The handsfree device (Blueant S4) is connected and contacts synced, and still allows me to make calls - and yet, the audio of the phone calls can only be from the iPhone itself.
