How to backup jailbroken apps?I am switching to another Iphone 3GS mine is going to be replaced by apple.How do i back up the apps on the phone so I can put them on the new iphone after i jail break it again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI hope I am not contravening any rules in place, if I am please feel free to delete this thread.I have jailbroken my iPhone and spent an age downloading big games from installous, so I was thinking there must be an easier way to get big apps by downloading online and then transferring to itunes and then sync with the iPhone. Is there an online repository somewhere for computers? What is the best place to download apps online?
Also I downloaded 95% of real racing before my wi-fi cut out and the download simply disappeared, is there any way to get it back at 95% or remove the 180ish mb's from the phone? I can't find it anywhere on installous or the iPhone.
Has anyone ever developed software to be kind of like iTunes for syncing jailbroken apps? Pkgbackup can be used to back them up, but it would be nice to have visual evidence like iTunes gives you. I copied the folder for jailbroken apps to my Mac as an additional backup but that doesn't have the settings IIRC. I also used aptbackup for the settings, before you tell me that. I just wonder if anyone has put all this together to make something more visual.

I have downloaded apps onto my phone via installous and when i go to itunes and sync, it deletes all those apps. I have tried and stopping the sync, and then choosing: "Transfer purchases from" and it works with some of my jailbroken apps, but not all. The ones that dont transfer over to itunes dont stay on the phone.Also i noticed that all my folders on the phone disappear and i have to keep organizing all my applications (major pain).

I tried to link my google account that I paid for these apps with on the new phone and it wants me to pay for them again.I have no idea what recourse I have, I was never in love with either app but I did pay for them and I want them on my phone. View 1 Replies View RelatedA Couple of days ago when I had my headphones in and was listening to music on pandora I switched to youtube to listen to something and when I do that pandora automatically stopped playing, like it's supposed to. I then closed the pandora app and was watching a youtube video. In the middle of the video my music from pandora started playing, when the app was closed. I pressed no buttons or anything to make it play that music. The app was closed. Since then it's been happening more often. Sometimes itll be my itunes music that will randomly started playing when I'm watching a youtube video, and the itunes app is closed. And I'll try to make it stop by opening and closing it again but then when I go to youtube it'll start playing again and I can't make it stop. Does this sound like some sort of water damage to my headphone jack or maybe a problem with my headphones?

I have not yet gotten ahold of a Lumia 950 but plan to do so in the fairly near future. I've been reading this forum and find various comments about whether or not to restore from a WM 8.1 backup. My current phone is a Lumia 1020 running Denim.
My question is for those who have recommended a fresh install rather than a restore from backup. Are you referring only to the "Apps and Settings" backup and not the "text messages" backup?
Is there a way or app that could allow me to switching between open apps? Like the ALT + TAB utility in any Windows, or the Windows + TAB in Windows 7. Because sometimes when you use Home button certain apps stop working.

I have a 4S, IOS 7.1.1. I did a factory reset, after first backing it up, and now that I am trying to sync all apps from that last backup, it says it cannot sync because this computer is no longer authorized. So I authorize the computer as it prompts me too, then it says, this computer is already authorized. I try to sync again, it still says computer not authorized. It's been a continuous circle. I have done everything from de-authorizing and re-authorizing the computer, removing the SC Info folder and restarting the computer and authorizing the computer associated with all Apple IDs, basically everything I have found on this site and everything support was telling me to do.
