I want to know if I can get back the photos I've just deleted. My iCloud sharing was active since the day I bought iPhone. It's been about 2 months. iCloud say that it keeps the saved 1000 photos for 30 days. So I guess I can reach them. I downloaded iCloud for PC but I can only see the photos already on my phone.
I need to restore old info onto a new iphone but have entered new information since receiving the phone.┬ That info is in the cloud.┬ Will current info in the cloud still be accessible after restore?┬ ┬
I used to back up my iPhone 5 regularly. I backed up manually with iTunes several times a week, and automatically to iCloud. For some time now, my iPhone will not back up to iTunes or iCloud. Backup to iTunes died first, then backup to Cloud. When I try to back up manually, I get an error message saying "iTunes could not back up the iPhone '[my phone]" because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone. Delete backup for this iPhone, then try again."┬
However, iTunes shows no backups for this phone. Under "Latest Backup" iTunes also says "Your iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud.┬
At the Apple Store they tried a few things and now say all I can do is a full system reset. Without a backup, I will not be able to restore anything.┬
All I need to restore are the photos. I can access them on my PC when I plug in the iPhone, and I have copied the photos to my PC.┬
If I do a full reset, how can I get the photos back onto the iPhone from the PC?
After taking my son on his first cub scout camporee this weekend. I took tons of pictures and once we got home and started to show most of them are corrupt. I DID have the camera app set to save pics to the internal memory. Some how while playing with the settings it was changed to save to the micro SD card. All photos that are saved to the SD card seem to get corrupted. They have a normal file size but I noticed that all of the corrupt files have a resolution of -1 x -1. Pics that aren't corrupt have a resolution of 5312 x 2988.
just came home from a trip that i used my iphone 4s to take pictures. when i came home, the photos hadn't gotten onto my ipad. I had photo stream turned off in iCloud so I turned it on. I have connected both iPad and iPhone are connected to wifi. I had turned several things off on my iPhone during this trip because it was an international trip and I didn't want to get any extra charges. I'm not sure what I turned off because I'm not too swift with electronics. I think everything is back to where it should be now but not positive. Why hasn't iCloud sent my photos from my iPhone to my iPad ?
After restoring from icloud backup, camera roll still downloads photos..! It has been over a day and it stucked at "Downloading 22 of 73"...Can I retrieve those photos with other technique? will camera roll download the photos eventually or will it be stucked for ever?
I picked up my iPhone 5 from being repaired, and now my photos are all gone--even though my wallpaper and lockscreen still have the photos from before, my camera roll is zero. The useless AppleCare chat people told me that my photos were all gone, but if I backed them up, is there any way to get them back?
My new Nokia N8 is working good, but I can┤t enter the photos. Everytime I press the button "photos" my Nokia turns into black screen and nothing happens. The phone is not down, but it can┤t display photos or videos. What should I do? Should I download some program to view pictures?
I was wondering if the new iCloud features will allow me to store my photos on the server instead of on my phone.┬ ┬
By now, many of us must have an excessive amount of photos on our devices.┬ It would be nice if I could 'archive' or 'keep on server' my photos from 2010 that I rarely access... but still have the ability to download them if I were so inclined.┬ I am using GB upon GB in pictures and have no space for movies and music at this point.┬
Is anything like this possible?┬ what about with iOS 8 and the new iCloud features?┬
I know if I create a stream it gives me the ability to download the whole thing.┬
I thought it was saving pictures sent in text messages to the SD card. After all it says it is saving to SD card rather than phone internal storage. But it isn't. None of the photos are on the external SD card and they do not appear when I attempt to move the files under settings-storage-move to SD card. I noticed there is a slight difference in the path names of the camera and Handcent....the camera has the sdcard-ext in the path and Handcent does not have the ext portion in the path. However when I try to type the path into where to save them, it tells me invalid path. how to save texted photos to the external SD card?
