I have struggled over this for days. I recently lost the internet provider on my old internet account which was my old Apple ID. I successfully changed my Apple ID in ITunes to a new permanent email address. I cannot change the settings on the App store or ICloud. The suggested solutions for this problem have not worked for me because there is no option for changing the old Apple ID. When you tap on it, it does not change. I have tried signing in with the Old Apple ID (the old email account) and it doesn't work either. I have synced my phone (and lost my contacts in the process but that was an entirely different headache!) to no avail.
Some of the solutions stated that I should go to the store and tap on the Apple ID and it would allow me to change...no such luck. Also when I tried Iforgot, it would only let me change my password which is not really any help because the problem is the Apple Id.

Well now that she is older and has proven herself to be a responsible young lady, I want to get her her own Apple ID, as she will be getting a new McBook as a graduation present. My question is this: Is it possible to migrate all the apps and data from her phone to a new Apple ID without having to download all those apps again? I backup her phone to my computer on a regular basis.

I'm trying to move everything from my Nokia N95 8GB to my desktop (so I can then move them to my Blackberry Bold 9900) but have problems doing so. I was using the Image Store feature of PC Suite to transfer images and videos, this worked Ok but I then realised I made a mistake and removed the files from my desktop, now it won't let me start again (it says there are no new image or video files). View 7 Replies View RelatedSince I updated to 5.1 on my iPhone 3Gs, I keep getting problems with the updated OS. I can't download apps, music or books from the iTunes store, it's very hit and miss. It is pointless having a pin upon wake up of the phone as all you have to do to get past the pin is by swiping the camera button up to by-pass it. The battery life has dramatically dropped from lasting a couple of days with everyday use to around 9 hours. The signal from the network has dropped from 3 bars on 3G to 4 bars on GPRS, and finally apps keep crashing and exit themselves to the home screen.
I have rang my network (O2UK) and they have said that they have had serveral reports of Apple products having these bugs since the release of 5.1, and saying that nothing has changed in terms of te settings and masts near me, but they advised me to check my network settings and if they are different from what O2's website said (they were the same). So why are there so many bugs with 5.1? I can't download any apps at all and my battery is worse?

Now before I ever put music on any of my Iphones I have owned I never ever had this problem. But for some reason the Music App that apple gives us always overrides any other App I have bought that generates sounds or music or well anything that deals strictly with making sounds in general.Â
I have an App installed that I use to fall asleep to at night, it plays a bunch of different ocean wave sounds for a period of time that I set anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours. I dock my phone at night on my clock which is an Ihome clock. Now it doesn't seem to matter if I dock my phone or not it happens even when it's undocked so the Clock is NOT the issue.Â
Here's what happens. Step 1 I close all the apps running on my phone, yep I double tap the home button and swipe UP each and everyone one till they are gone. Step 2 I turn on my sleeping sounds app. Step 3 I hit play. Step 4 I hit the flat botton on top of the phone to turn off the screen, while the sleep sounds are going. The sleep sounds continue to play after this happens.Â
Now here' the kicker, before putting the music on my phone those sounds would keep on playing till the apps time ran out, I usually set it for 2 hours. Yah it takes me a while to fall asleep some nights and others not as long. After I put a music album that was purchased from Itunes on my phone, well about 2 minutes after I turn off the screen the Sleep sounds stop and all goes silent, then 30 seconds later that music album starts playing. I try pausing and closing, I've tried just pausing the music where it's at and hitting play on the sleep app again, I've messed with the Do Not Disturb settings and I still can NOT get the MUSIC to stop overriding my sleep app. Â
I mean I want my sleep APP at night not the MUSIC. Where are the Music controls to tell it to NOT override other apps that play sounds?Â

View 5 Replies View RelatedI made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
