IPhone :: 4s - Voice Mail Button - Settings Required
Jun 28, 2012
I have an 4s, it is unlocked so I didnt want to go with expensive contracts like O2. So I am using a cheap contract from company called TalkMobile.
If this cant be done then need to be fixed by Apple.
please can you support me to cancel the voicemail im my mobile because I;ve cancel it by the operator but still active with all rejected or an unswered calls
On my old Galaxy S3 you could send a call straight to voice mail by pressing the down volume button. Does the G3 have a similar feature? I get 3 or 4 calls a day that I don't recognize and instead of just ignoring them, if I could send them to voice mail to see if they are legit enough to leave a message. I have Mr. Number because I do get other spam calls and I also get those unblockable numbers like 0000000 or 43 or something like that.
Any way to assign the voice email to a dial pad key, e.g. "1" as is usually the case on "regular" phones? Have not found how to change settings of the voice mail yet (have the phone since yesterday.
I couple of days ago it shut itself off again. I took out the battery to reset it, but when it came back on the home button quit working, on both the front screen and the keyboard. Also, all of my calls are going straight to voicemail and the Happenings widget isn't working right. When there are no current happenings it says "keep up to date with friends in social networks". If you touch it, it says to setup a Motoblur account to use this service, but I already have one. I've tried just resetting the password on there, but that did nothing. And if I try to set it up, it comes up with a force close screen.
I have the iPhone 5c and am on IOS 8.1.1. When I get a voice mail, the voice mail icon no longer lights up. This has been since I updated to the latest version of IOS. I have to turn the phone off. When I turn the phone back on, the voice mail icon lights up. Is there a way to correct this?
Is there a way to record multiple voice-mail's and then switch between the prerecorded voice-mails? Rather than having to record a new voicemail everytime I want to change it?
Without me doing anything, my (new) HTC ONE M9 started requiring me to SPEAK the necessary text (e.g. passwords) instead of presenting the keyboard where one would normally type the text.
Started with VIBER OUT (when I tried to purchase credit) but now it is pervasive - AY text input is expected through voice.
A small window at the bottom of the screen pops-up (with a mic button and the google logo on it) - I can't get rid of it ...
I've been searching for hours to find a way of getting my HTC Legend to pick up the internet and use it's internet based widgets away from WiFi, as I am on a Pay as you go contract with O2, and I can't seem to setup the APN's correctly. - O2 do not support this phone, or even the hero, and when they tried sending me setup info, they must have sent the details to the wrong email address :O(
The phone loads up with the Vodafone screen (so has obviously come from them at some point), but works just fine with my O2 sim card, with the exception of the internet.
Not really happy with Vodafone-branded Vivaz and H3G USIM:
- unable to access Skype and FB through H3G; when I click on FB icon, it gets into loop and the only way out is to switch off the Vivaz; tried all sorts of setting, also through SE support - switch language only after reboot - Vivaz gets hot after few minutes of simple conversation - How does it manage groups in phonebook? should be possible to mark contacts as belonging to group and then be able to send msg to "groups"; - Even with flat rate mobile internet by H3G (Italy) I get charged extra, no idea why (for sure provider dependent), how to leave only certain sites accessible? Is it possible they charge me when I use it over my WiFi connection? - Would love to unbrand Vivaz but afraid SE warranty wouldn't cover.
I did an upgrade to v5.0.0.680 on my Blackberry 9700 and after that my Standby - Mute button not working also the Email Setup is missing an option to add a personal account it only giving me option to add "Blackberry Enterprise Server."
Every time i go to set an mailbox (i.e gmail) i just enter the password and the device just take me to the screen to choose E-mail (Ovi Mail, Yahoo, Gmail...).. Nothing happens.
I have an iphone and setting an e-mail account was peace of cake. Nokia drives me crazy. I did factory defaults and everything but nothing seems to help. I can access internet by wi-fi and by my operator (successfully browse the WEB).
I have Verizon, and I click the Phone on the home page, then voicemail, then did all the steps, once I got to saving it, it said "Voicemail Unavailable, Unable to intiate connection." It's irritating me haha.I even went to Setting then Reset then reseted Network Settings and it's still saying it
I used to be able to access my voicemail. However about a week ago when I went to my voice mailbox, and pressed the message I wanted to hear, nothing happened. So I engaged the speaker butto and still nothing. When I put the phone to my ear, I get Siri asking what I want instead of the voicemail.
I am unable to listen to new voicemail messages unless I first delete it and then go to "Deleted Messages" and then hit the play button to listen to it. I called my Sprint support line and they claimed they fixed it but they are sadly mistaken. I have the 4s at s/w release iOS 5.1
My iPhone 4 is on AT&T network, and the voicemail greeting will not change. I've saved it under Visual Voicemail, and it plays if I play it there, but when somebody calls, it plays my old one. I have tried setting it by calling my voicemail and changing it there, but that still doesn't work. If I play my voicemail message from calling my voicemail, it plays my new one. When people call, it still plays my old message!
