I have a Nokia E72 which was working perfectly until about a month and a half back. I might have deleted some important file on my phone, but I don't remember doing so. Anyways, now, in PC Suite mode, the computer doesn't detect my cellphone and still waits for a cellphone to be connected. This is on both Mac and PC. For Nokia Map Loader (Mac and PC) and Ovi Suite and for Nokia Media Transfer (Mac).
iSync still works as do the other modes (mass media transfer and the other ones). I've hard reset my phone. Uninstalled and re-installed all the application on the computer related to this. Even took it to a Nokia Care Point in Jeddah (my warranty is valid in Saudi Arabia only). They however were very incompetent and didn't do anything about it. I've even tested my friend's E72 and it works perfectly. So it's not the computer, rather something to do with the phone.
I was updating swype from Nokia Beta Labs when I had to disconnect the phone from the system. After that the installation stopped and when I tried to connect the phone back to the system, it wouldn't be detected.
So in the process of attempting to fix my nexus 5's issue of saying "cannot mount cache" during a factory reset in recovery mode, it completely stopped turning on. However, when I connect it to the computer, my computer still makes a sound indicating a new device has been connected.
The device will not show anything on the screen at all. I've tried holding power, power+volume down, and power+volume down+volume up multiple times and nothings worked.
My iPhone recently stopped getting signals. It says "No Service" on the top, I tried putting different SIM cards, yet no difference. So I cannot receive or make calls.
So I decided to connect my iPhone to iTunes to restore it, because it may fix the issue. I connected it to 2 different computers, 5 different USB ports, running latest version of iTunes (10.6), but the iPhone would not ever be detected by iTunes.
I tried getting my iPhone into DFU mode, it shows up a cable and itunes logo, but still the iTunes doesn't detect the iPhone.
when i tried restoring my iphone 3g, all that appears is the white apple logo until the battery gets drained out and turns off. When recharging again, the same apple logo only appears, nothing more. Even my itunes is not detecting my iphone.
I did a complete format on my PC with Windows 7 Professional. Just like a do once a year if it needs it or not.All software reinstalled normally as usual Installed iTunes yesterday and got my iPhone 4 hooked up to it just to setup a sync with it again, which it did. After a restart of the computer, iTunes was not seeing the phone whatsoever. Still shows up in Computer devices as shown here:As well, as followed normal troubleshooting with iTunes [url] settings and Firewall (Comodo Firewall) and Antivirus (Avast!) disabled both, and connected to phone again after restarting iTunes.Issue persisted A couple times I connected I received 2 different error messages (this does not come up all the time however)Obviously nothing has been changed on the iPhone since the format. The only different thing that occured was when the phone was connected initially to the computer and I did my primary sync I was prompted to Either "Merge" the data, or have it "replace". Of course I selected Merge. No data was changed with this and all information synced as normal.
This evening I have reinstalled iTunes completely as well as the Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application support, etc. cleaned registry, restarted and reinstalled. As I assumed, iTunes opened and found the phone connected and synced.Restarted the computer again. opened itunes. I notice it hangs (no phone connected) for about 15-20 seconds then finally opens. It did this previously as well before the reinstall. Also booting iTunes in Safe mode (Ctrl+shift) does the same thing.
I have an IPhone 4 that was bought in London at an Apple store as a factory unlocked phone (very expensive). In the beginning of 2011 I updated to iOS 4.1 and it remained unlocked after the update. Recently I updated to iOS 5.1 the phone recognizes that the sim is in the phone but the phone does not detect any cellular network.
I tried removing the card waiting then reinserting it. same result. If it turn the phone on with out the sim is says "No Sim".
After upgrading to Windows Ultimate, my iPhone 4s is not detected by Itunes (latest version) though my iPad 3 does and my old iPhone 3s are detected ok.
When I plugin my iphone 4s to windows 7, it is detected as generic usb device and is not shown up in itunes. Itunes is able to detect my iPod classic device though..
I tried updating my iPhone 4s (iOS 5.1 , not jailbroken) to the latest firmware using iTunes . I backedup my phone to my computer and proceded to update the firmare . During the process , after a few minutes , my phone just showed the "Connect to iTunes" picture , and the message on iTunes was " itunes is updating the software " .I waited about 15 mins to see if there was any change or progress .
So I disconnected my phone and reconnected it and iTunes didn't recognize or show any device being connected . I tried entering DFU mode to restore the phone , but it isn't entering DFU mode ( I tried the 3 sec pressing power/sleep button +10 secs of simultaneous power/home buttons + 10 secs of home button ) . I tried this atleast 30 times . I have successfully entered DFU mode with my previous iphone 3gs few months back , so I know how it's supposed to be done . Still my phone isn't being detected by iTunes .
I unintalled/reinstalled all apple software on my Win7 , (including bonjour, quicktime, itunes , and other apple software) .And even after that it isn't being detected.
I've updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 7.1.2 more than one month ago. Since then not a single WiFi network could be detected. My own WiFi network (via Apple Time Capsule) is working fine with my iPad2 (with iOS 7.1.2) and MacBook Pro.Â
Meanwhile I've tried all "solutions" recommended on the Apple support sites without any success.Â
Since I ran out of battery today, my iPhone 3G hangs on the pineapple logo. I have connect it to my iMac intel to charge it, but no luck.I tried a reset using Home+Power button for a few seconds: same.Sometimes the screen displays a battery icon not charged.
I can go into recovery mode and it is detected by iTunes 9.1 Should I restore it? will I have to jailbreak/unlock the iphone again then?
My original computer died, and I don't have a phyical back up of my data. If I try to sync the device to a new computer will I lose everything currently on my phone? If so, is there a way around this?
i have a xperia neo (MT15i) and tree month ago i tried to unlock my phone so i went to wotanserver.com and did every thing it said but i wasn't successful and my phone didn't unlock and when i turn on my phone i saw that my sim card isn't detected but it was detected in another mobiles i search in many websites to repair my phone but they couldn't help me but i understand what is my phone problem but i can't repair it i understand my sim wasn't detected because i tried to unlock my phone but my phone "bootloader unlock allowed" says "NO"?
