Have many different IDs and PsWords for accessing APPS on phone. In past, carried a hard copy of them in my pocket. Is there a word processing function or will "Reminders" or "Notes" on the 4S do that for me? Have tried the latter two and they are cumbersome.

Is there a way to store the voicemail password (PIN#) so I don't have to enter it every time I check my voicemail? The only way I can think of is to create a new contact called "Voicemail" and assign it to speed dial #2. Either way I have to open the slide to enter my voicemail password and # sign, or to use the #2 speed dial when I'm prompted to check for new messages.

Also, what else can the fingerprint scanner be used for?

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I found that my Razr I can be updated to 4.1.2. I was very happy about that and updated the phone. After that I found one missed feature. Cannot move your applications to SD with Razr I. But it was the feature to move pictures and videos and some docs to SD automatically (in "settings - storage" area). So I could use this feature to move pics made by some apps and stored in to main memory automatically to SD card. Now it is not available any more. How can I perform this action with Jelly Bean? I have to do it manually now, connected phone to PC.

Up until recently I've had no issues with my iPhone 4, however, as of late, the phone can't detect my home WiFi network. I have several other devices that can find and connect to the network without issue, and have power cycled the router to be sure. the issue is most definately with the phone itself. iPhone has no issues connecting with public WiFi networks at McDonalds, Starbucks, nor the Airport. As far as iPhone is concerned, there is no WiFi networks to connect to in my home. I can't remember if this issue began before or after I installed 5.1 on my phone. I'd like to try all avenues before fully resetting the phone, as I have alot of data, settings and un-backed-up photographs, documents, etc. I'd rather not risk losing. So far, I have reset the phone (Hold Home and Power until phone resets.), Reset network settings, turned the phone on and off both with WiFi turned on and off to no avail. For the record, I have searched out and read alot of threads on this issue, and tried many if not all of the suggestions contained therein. Most of these issues pertain to iPhone not detecting ANY networks, or detecting but not connecting.

All of a sudden I cannot connect to my home wifi, nor home wifi at my daughters house. It finds the connection right away, but after putting in the password, I immediately get a message "unable to connect to ......" I have tried connecting to free wifis at public places and it connects fine. The password on mine has not been changed, nor has my daughters?

My iphone doesn't stay connected to my home wifi. Anywhere else it stays connected no problem but it never seems to work at home. It's always got a spinning wheel infront of the network. I've tried to 'forget' the network and re-sign up but it has not helped.

I have a D-Link DIR-825 Xtreme N Dual Band Gigabit Router connected to my Telus high speed modem at home. The router has been set up for WPA-2 security with a 63-character passphrase. A 17" Macbook Pro (2010) (built-in Airport) and a homebuilt PC (2011) running Windows 7 (D-Link DWA-160 Xtreme N Dual Band USB Adaptor) are able to connect to the router. I have copied the same passphrase to the Notes section of my iPhone 4S and then tried to connect to the network. Passphrase is correct. Connection times out and says it was not able to connect.
