Dec 3, 2012My device downloaded an upgrade "successfully"--according to the message that flashed on the screen. Suddenly all applications disappeared from the screen and this message came up "Uncaught exception:Application Registry.wait For (0x5364ff2940fa3920)timeout" When I press "OK" another message pops up: "Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException" no matter how many time I press "OK" it sits there frozen. I have removed the battery, reloaded, etc. Nothing changes. I can't access any applications or settings features so I am unable to reset or uninstall, etc.

Sep 16, 2010I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

Jul 17, 2012I tried to access my phone to read a text message, only to find it had completely frozen. I did a battery pull and my phone came back on, only to see an error message saying "error application uncaught exception" or something along those lines, and my SMS app had been deleted from my phone. i clicked "show all" and nothing came up. i tried to connect it to blackberry desktop manager twice to update the software to see if that had any effect but it kept getting stuck on the back up on my computer, so I disconnected it both times. I tried to install the software update on my phone itself, and now its stuck on the back up data page (again) but this time on my phone. It says "social feeds 0%" and "overall back up progress 5%". I did another battery pull but its brought me back to the same screen and I cannot use my phone at all.

Sep 21, 2011When I try to text it sometimes goes through immediately but most times it tries with the red box and check mark and then it gives me a SMS error 97. Sometimes I get an SMS Error 0. I can no longer resend the message. This has never happend with any other blackberry I have had. It always tried to send the message until it got it through. Mar 30, 2012So I have a 3GS that had a broken screen. I paid my telco to have it replaced with a refurbished handset.The replacement was plugged into a Windows PC with iTunes & unbricked. No problems there.It didn't get used for about 3 months & when I tried to charge it, it was dead! Meanwhile, the 90 days warranty on the handset has lapsed & I can't get it replaced or anything without paying again.I have tried restoring the handset many times & I get different error messages depending on how I do it.If I just plug it into my PC (running Windows Vista) & do a normal restore in iTunes the error message is (-1).If I put it in DFU mode & then do a restore in iTunes I get error 1602.If I use iREB to put in DFU mode & then restore using a downloaded ipsw file I get error 3194.I have tried doing the above on two PC's running Windows Vista & still always getting errors.I am using the latest version of iTunes (updated yesterday - 30th March 2012)I am not sure what OS is on the handset. The latest thing to happen is that when it gets to "Restoring iPhone firmware..." it seems to just hang at the very last bit. Then after a long time just left sitting there plugged in, it eventually comes up with error 1002.
