Ive got a iPhone 3G and im on the GM Seed iOS 4 and everytime i try go onto Safari it crashes abd shuts down! Is anyone else having problems like mine? And by the way this happned to me in Beta 4 as well.
For the past couple of days, I keep getting the message that Safari cannot load a page when I click on links or try to do a search on my iPhone. My signal strength would be strong the whole time. And if I keep hitting reload, the page will usually eventually load, but it's taking a lot of time. I don't have the same problem with other apps that require a data connection. I've already tried rebooting the phone multiple times by pressing the home and power buttons simultaneously, but that hasn't solved the problem. I also cleared history, cookies, and data. I haven't tested it enough yet while I've been on a Wi-Fi connection since the past couple of days I've mostly been on 3G so not sure if it's a network issue although as I mentioned the signal strength appears very strong and if I launch other apps that use a network connection, they have no loading issues.
i want to download an app from the internet not from the app store and not from cydia.can i download an app from the internet through the iphone or through macbook and transfer it to iphone.my iphone is jailbroken
When i first got my iphone4s, i frequently visited a website called mastertoons.com to watch my favorite show (adventure time). After the new update, the screen that displays the video on the webpage does not show up, is there anything i can do to fix this? I have to be able to waych my show man..
No matter what website I go to with Safari, the button to 'upload' is always greyed out/unavailable for the last couple of days. What setting is affected to do this?
For the past 2 days, Safari has been 'timed out' and wont load pages like weather.com or mlb.comI took it to an ATT store and they said it's my case which I bought at best Buy almost 2 years ago for my I-P 4. I thought the 'antennae issues' were fixed a year ago. why Safari wont load websites? It works ok on wi-fi
Purchased an iPhone 5s yesterday at Best Buy to replace my iPhone 4s and extending my Sprint contract. Realized last night that I don't have Safari on this phone.
I just got my new iPhone 6 and can't open safari. Every time it tries to open from either the app icon or within another app it crashes. It is a blank website in safari and then closes itself 5-10 sec later. I have cleared safari data history and downloaded chrome, but all of the apps default into chrome for links.
I'm curious as to why I'm unable to load the following url in safari running on an ipod touch 2g with firmware 3.1.2 (I've tried repeated times, even after rebooting the device)I've had random safari crashes before but never with such consistency on the same webpage. Does anybody else experience the same crashing? I'm just curious as to what html content could be causing the app to flake out.
Having just upgraded to the iPhone 4 from a 3G, I'm so used to everything working so smoothly that I'm starting to expect I can use it more like a computer. So its slightly disappointing to see that there's an 8-pages-open-at-a-time limit in Safari. For example, I like to click a bunch of thread links on macrumors just to read them one by one, but now you can only have eight at a time before the first ones you clicked start disappearing. Don't get me wrong, on the 3G after 3 pages were open, it would either start to get very slow or just crash, so this is a huge improvement, I just thought that with the 512mb of RAM it would be a bit more capable now. Was this the same situation as it was before? (mainly on the 3GS I guess)
I had to restore my IP4 last night and last some nes roms,so im trying to get them back.Well I used pkg backup and got most back but now that I have safari downloader it keeps putting the unzipped roms in the wrong folder.Should I uninstall safari downloader to back the self installer in ines put the roms in the right place. or is safari downloader not the problem.
Anyone else have this issue? I am trying to decide if I want to restore and setup as a new phone and work through everything again or just let it pass ip4, 4.0.1, jb, sync with mac.
How do you clear your Safari cache. When I go to settings, safari, I don't see cache there. I do see clear history and clear cookies and data. Is one of them the same as clearing cache?
My Safari search in Google quit working yesterday. I can put a word in the search box, google opens and provides a list of suggestions, I tap a suggested site, and it just returns to a blank google search screen with the web address
On my older iPhones, the Safari bookmarks always used to slurp up from my computer onto the phone so I could use them on the phone. Now, that does not happen, the bookmarks on the phone are old and never update when I plug my phone into iTunes to update.
