When i first got my mac i syned all my photos from my ipod on to it and all of that synced to my iphone and now i dont have enough space on my phone and i want to delete the ipod photos which i managed by selecing the photos i wanted to sync on itunes but now i have even less space because i have all the same photos twice from my camera roll because theyre all in the same folder but called events from my mac which i really want to get rid of but dont know how to. I only have 134KB of space left
I have a BB 8830, which I've regularly been synchronizing with my Mac through Desktop Manager. I have it set to only sync future events, and have NOT checked the "Replace all calendar events" box, since I recently added some events to my BB calendar, and want those sync'ed to my calendar. Now, however, when I start to sync, I get a message saying "Syncing with Blackberry Desktop Manager will change more than 25% of your calendars, events, or to dos on this computer." When I look at the details of those events, they're all in the past, and I do not want to delete them from iCal on my Mac. The Mac is a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.6.4.
I just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.
I bought my iPhone yesterday and am struggling TI want to add events on the calendar.Touch on the calendar and today is displayed with a red line and dot at the time of day, but that is about far as it will let me go.In the user manual on line it says to touch anywhere on the screen to add an event!!! ....
My calendar app (Tuesday 1 Calendar) does not allow me to add events. There is not a (Calendars or +) at the top of the application. Previous iPhones I have had had this feature.
I set up my GMail account on my phone as an Exchange account so that it can sync contacts and calendars as well as mail. When I first set it up, I had the option of deleting the existing calendar events and syncing, or leaving my existing calendar. I did the latter, but now I have a separate GMail calendar on my phone with no events. I need to get my iPhone calendar events over to Gmail. Any quick way of doing so?
I'm about to restore this phone (3GS) to 4.0.1 and JB, and I have no other calendar application on my computer to sync with, which is why I need to get everything to the Gmail calendar.
I upgraded to 5.01 and some of my iCal events moved up a day. I have them syncing through iCloud, but they are right on my Mac and not on my iPhone 4s. help!
I can't manage to add any events into my calendar . I've checked with the manual and noticed I don't have a + showing in the corner. Also tapping a date or time slot does nothing. Is there some setting I've overlooked?
I have an iMac and a iPhone. I used iPhoto to transfer my camera roll pictures to the mac. my mac got the blue screen and I ended up having to erase and install from my CD. In the process i lost iPhoto (Im using SL).All of my photos are still on the iPhone under "events" but i am afraid to sync to the pictures folder and have them all get wiped. So, Any way you know to import iPhone events to the iMac?
I have an iPhone 4sI use Google Calendar.I do not use iCloud. My calendar is fine and syncs perfectly between my computer (Lightning) and my iPhone 4sBUT when I go to the pull down notification screen on my iPhone 'recurring events' are duplicated. See above for a screen shot of my calendar settings and my pull down screen I can't work out why. As I said they show up as a single entry on the iPhone calendar and on Lightning and Google but not in the pull down notifications.
I just lost all my calendar events on iphone. I didnt uptade anything. I didnt connect my iphone to anything. I just opened a calendar, and all of my events were gone. Is there any way to get them back?
I had a daily recurring event with reminder notifications in my iPhone calendar. I deleted the event and all future events but I still get reminders. I even keep deleting the event when the reminder pops up but it doesn't help. When I look at the the calendar the event is not there so i don't know what to do. Anyone else run into this problem?
All non repeating events more than one month old are gone. I have the iPhone 4s, and I don't 'sync' or back up ( at least not on purpose. What's going on? I need to see when I had a specific doctors appointment two months ago.
I create a calendar event on my iphone and within seconds it just disappears from the phone. I have icloud enabled on my phone so i suppose that may have an impact. It has worked previously, but recently all my events have disappeared.
I have an I Phone 4s and have never been able to add events to the calendar. The phone has NO plus sign. Syncing with I Cloud does not help. The only thing I can do on my calendar is see the dates.
In the past week, I have had someone else's calendar events begin appearing on my iPhone's calendar. (We will call this phone "IPHONE #1".) While I got this iPhone used, the person I bought it from does not recognize any of these events, and so it isn't a sync from their calendar.
Here's where I am thinking this may have came from, and I want to fix it ASAP. I had another iPhone that I recently sold to a friend. (IPHONE #2) I had it previously synched with my itunes Apple ID, but before I sold it to him, I thought I did a security wipe. The strange entries on my calendar include names of my friend's family members, but some of the info he is posting is embarrassing and I would rather NOT tell him I have seen any of his private notes. I want to stop this without him knowing I have seen anything thus far.
