I'm getting a brand new HTC One tomorrow to replace my Blackberry 9900 and wanted to know how I can transfer my contact numbers, texts, photos etc.
Vodafone tell me that if I take them in to one of their stores they can do it for me, but the closest one to me doesn't have the facility to and I can't access any other stores.
I'm going on holiday this Friday and would love to be able to take photos / videos using the HTC One, if I take both phone can I still do so (do I need to transfer first)?
my BB 8520 curve crashed (app error 523) and service center says they'd take 8 days to repair. I have a spare 8520 and I have been unsucessfully trying to load saved data from old BB from my Laptop to new BB. problem is the device software asks for old BB to be plugged in. what i primarily need is the phone book and messages, if not entire data.
I backed up my old 3G IPhone to my computer. I plugged in my new 3GS and clicked retore. My contacts and apps do not show on my new phone. My contacts and apps are still on my old phone. I have not activated my new phone yet. When registering my new phone i signed up for I Cloud.
When trying to transfer data from my iphone4 to iphone 5s I get that my Iphone 4 is not up to date but itunes says it is at 7.1.2. I cannot continue to do the back up. What am I doing wrong?
I have looked around online a bunch, even went to the apple store for answers on this, and still nothing.I had a MBP, its dead, i got a new one, its awesome. but now i want to sync my iphone with this new computer, I plug the phone in, it all works and everything, but if i click "sync" on any of the check boxes in say, music. apps. rungtones. etc it says it will delete the data on my phone and replace it with the data on that itunes.
Is there a way for me to jsut transfer all my **** off the iphone so it syncs with that? this is getting really annoying. The guy in the genius bar told me to backup my phone, then restore it using itunes and that iTunes would then allow me ot sync everyhting without first deleting all the information, tried that, and it didnt work, itunes just said the same message about deleteing all my applications and data and blah blah blah.no i dont have the library from the old computer to use as a reference to copy files from.
I recently upgraded from a Bold to a Bold 9900 and gave the old phone to my son, having first backed up all data, memos, addresses etc on the PC and erased everything from my old phone. When I restored my data on to my new phone a few days later it brought all his BBM chat contacts and messages (which he had loaded on to the Bold)on to my phone and wiped the corresponding entries from his phone.Clearly I copied and restored some ID wrongly, with the result that his BBM messages are being directed to my new phone.
I downloaded and installed on my original iPhone a 3rd party application. I now have an iPhone 4S, and wish to transfer that application and all it's data to my new phone.
I would like to take everything from my iPod (notes, calendar info, game stats, etc.) and put it onto my iPhone 4S so I don't have to do it all manually. Is there anyway to do so? I've already tried syncing my iPod and then my phone, but nothing has worked I've only gotten some pictures and apps that I purchased.
My new MacBook pro has just arrived, and I'm now faced with the challenge of moving my iTunes library from my old windows PC to the mac. I have been able to move everything but the iPhone.
I'm sure you are aware, syncing the iPhone with a new computer requires the data to be erased, but I'd like to retain my data, especially the game saves on my iPhone, angry birds etc.
So how would I go about doing this? Do I need to back up my iPhone on my PC, transfer the backup file and restore on the new mac?
So I am hopefully getting the iPhone 4 on the launch date, however I would like to give my 3GS to my dad for fathers day. Is there a way without jailbreaking/unclocking so that the 3GS does not have a data plan? We are on a family share plan. I thought the data contract was required with the initial purchase of the phone due to the subsidy, but now that I am upgrading to the iPhone 4 I should be renewing my 2 year data contract. Any ideas?
transferring data through Bluetooth from other devices to blackberry even though the two devices are paired. when doing the transfer from the blackberry to the other devices, it works but not the other way round?
I assume I simply set up with the card as supplied, then use the USB lead to attach to my laptop as a Disk Drive, copying EVERYTHING (as apposed to selected files) off that shows into a folder, then insert the new MicroSD card into the Desire and copy everything onto it? My theory being that the SD card supplied will have some set up data and the new one will be completely blank.
I downloaded the blackberry desktop software but I don't know how to format the chip first. Its not the chip that came with the blackberry, I inserted one with more memory. I managed to transfer my pictures to my PC but now I don't know how to reverse the process and upload those pictures to my new chip on my blackberry. I
I have lost my contact data while i was transfering to another device through sync, i am using 6120classic and E72. unfortunately it is lost from botht the devices.
Although I can pair with other cellphones, transferring data fails. The paired phone tells me my BB does not "support the service". I have a Bold 9700.
Any tips / shortcuts on how to transfer all my calendar /contacts / music / files etc from my old 9700 to my shiny new 9900? Also changing provider to have two sim cards (until Monday).
I'm having trouble with using the backup from my previous Iphone 5S to my new HTC One M8.
I have made several backups and using Itunes I am always able to make a complete restore.
I am on a macbook air. The newest Itunes version.
But using HTC Sync manager I am only getting to the point: Transfer and Backup, Iphone, getting started. I only get the message We cannot find any backup of your Iphone in Itunes.
I have an IPhone and a few months ago, I bought my son an IPod Touch.I thought it would be easier to register his Touch under my account and share some of the apps, but now it is becomig an issue.I get all the texts and facetime calls that he receives, and he can see all of my calendar entries, notes, and contacts.I have set up an account for him, and I want to move the IPod Touch to that account, but I do not want to lose the apps that I bought specifically for the IPod touch, nor do we want to lose his "game data". Is there a way that I can move the touch to the new account and not lose the apps and data.I am okay with him not being able to access the apps that I bought and use on the IPhone.
I recently purchases the Motorola Triumph. How can I move data from the SD card to the Gallery. I had no trouble moving pics and videos to the SD card via USB connection but the Gallery doesn't read the videos, only the pictures. How can I move the videos to the gallery or to other apps like "Keep it safe" and " Moboplayer"?
I wanted to transfer my contacts, ringtones, pictures, and memo pad info from my storm 2 to the 9800. I didn't want to use the DM "Switch Devices" utility because I don't want everything copied over including the settings. The pictures and contacts were easy as I just switched SD cards.Ringtones and pictures I transferred over by plugging in the phones up and used Windows to simply drag the files over.My problem is the memo pad info. How do I get that to my 9800?

I am giving my Bold back to my company as I am leaving my job.I will be getting another blackberry but it migt not be a bold.I want to atleast keep my BBM contacts. My question is, how do I go about taking the contacts over to the new phone with a new PIN BUT not having them notice that I got a new pin. In other words I don't want them to have to get a message asking for "accept" or "reject" I want it to naturally migrate over.
When I got a new phone form work to replace the old one all my contacts were carried over and they didnt even notice the change on their end. I want to do the same thing but the new phone will have a new enterprise server and perhaps a new service provider.
