HTC Evo 4G :: Sync My Outlook Calendar Consistently
Aug 19, 2010
I can't seem to get my HTC Sync to sync my outlook calendar consistently. The contacts seem to work (haven't seen any issues yet) but the calendar only changes the information from my pc to the EVO, not in reverse. I didn talk with customer support and ended up re installing the software. It worked once. I tried that again, worked again but messed up my calendar on the pc. I moved all my appointments around on my phone only to find I had to do it all over again on my pc.The seond time I sync after the reinstall, well the phone changes don't go to the pc.
There was something in a forum about removing the itunes add in in outlook, I did that, no difference. What a pain, the htc diamond with windows worked great, didn't even have to hit the sync button. As soon as I made changes on the pc, the changes went to the phone and visa versa. Sync'd files too. Not this thing, had to install a seperate app for files.
Sometimes my phone syncs with outlook immediately, other times it refuses to. Why doesn't it always sync with Outlook whenever I want to check my emails? I have noticed that typically it will sync with Outlook when I check my emails first thing in the morning (say at 0700) but later in the day (say at 1300), it will still say 'last synced at 0700' and the only way I can get it to download my latest emails is to reboot my phone.
Samsung SGH-t749 using New PC Studio ver. 1.2.0 IEC. When I try to sync Outlook Calendar with the phone calendar it runs out of memory. I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Does this mean that it is also syncing the address book? I only want to keep the calendar on the phone synced. Anyone have any input?
Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.
I am using Nokia X6-00 16GB version in India and started using Outlook recently. Recently i got some meeting requests in my mail and they are present n Outlook calendar. I want them to be syncronised to my Phone's calendar.
My phone's calendar events are going into Outlook but not the other way...
The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display - Conference calling - Date & Time - Accounts: *email account1 *email account2 *email account3 #Appointment color #display reminder #number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
Is it possible to get the calendar in my blackberry to talk with the calendar in Microsoft outlook automaticaly with out using the cable to sync the 2 devices on desktop.
sync my Outlook Calender with my Torch wirelessly. I set up my Outlook Exchange E-mail successfully (though it would be nice if I could move e-mails to Outlook folders as well).
How do I sync Torch Calendar with my Outlook Calendar wirelessly?
I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work. I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.I also do not want my work email on my iphone. Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.Â
I want to sync (through Ovi) my calendar with my E71. Everything worked fine until I changed my calendar setup in Outlook 2007. I am not using a Calendar with a different tab name and my default calendar is empty. The calendar on the E71 is now also empty as I takes the input from the default calendar. It is there way to sync with a non default calendar in outlook (I understand that multiple calendars is not supported anyway)
My BB desktop software is only allowing me to configure the calendar sync with one email account and not both. I have tried advanced setting and it doesn't seem to recognise any second outlook folder's calendar
Having problems syncing my Blackberry Calendar with Outlook??Steps taken thus far:Removed Blackberry Software and downloaded latest version Toggled on both two way sync for Blackberry to Outlook Calendar
Does not update Calendar from the blackberry to Outlook???
I have had my blackberry for over a year and recently it stopped syncing my BB calendar with my outlook. It syncs the address book, tasks and memos fine, but totally skips over the calendar. I have seen several suggestions on here and tried them but still doesn't workt says on the BB desktop software that my BB doesn't have a calendar installed but it does and it works fine on the device it just won' sync. There are 2 calendars on the device Facebook (which if I knew how I would delete) and my email address
I am baffled. When I sync my Blackberry Torch calendar with Outlook 2007 on my PC, I notice that my device has 1300 events and my PC only has 1107 events. I can't figure out why the device calendar has more than my PC, and I don't know which ones are missing from my PC, or why.
I had two calendars a default one and the email one. I moved the default into the email calendar. CICAL shows the email address. But the calendar will not sync with outlook. I have items in the BB that do not appear in outlook.
I have not been able to synce my Blackberry calendar to Outlook. Infact, the calendar does not sync to any of the other calendar options on my PC such as ASCII file or Windows calendar. Also, I have been able to sync the contacts and notes to Outlook - just not calendar.
I recently upgraded from a Note 3 to an S6 on Verizon. On my Note I had my Exchange calendar sync'd to my phone so I could see when meetings and such were. But on my S6 so far there isn't even an option listed in my calendar to display my Exchange calendar and it's quite frustrating. I've checked in Settings and Accounts and it shows the calendar should be syncing but nothing is populating in my calendar.
I am having troubles getting my Outlook calendar to show on my S6.Emails have synced perfectly well and the account is set up correctly in the same manner as my S4 and Tab 3, however my calendar isn't even available for selection on the page where you choose which items to SyncI have removed the Exchange account several times and set it up again to no avail.
My iPhone has always been capable of having a two-way sync with my Outlook but for some reason it's become a one-way only sync - from Outlook to iPhone. I've already checked the settings in iTunes and nothing works. Btw, I have an iPhone 4S and Outlook 2010.
I have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook. My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it.
I only used Desktop manager to sync contacts. Now I want to sync calendar from BB to Outlook. I activated and set aparameters in desktop manager but There are no entries in my outlook calendar.
Up until recently, meeting invites that came in from colleagues (sent via Outlook 2010) always went directly to my calendar on the BB. Now they no longer do - they show up as an email with an attachment called "application/X-rimdevicecalendar", and when trying to open the attachment, I get an error saying it can't be opened on the device.
