So a few days ago I disabled the YouTube app because it was extremely slow. I also cleared the data and cache and uninstalled all of the previous updates. And when I enabled it back on and tried to update the app over the Play Store it gave me this weird error telling me that it cannot install the update. So I went to the troubleshooting site and tried evrything that was suggested but none of it worked. My phone is not rooted.
As you all know the recent s6 update for Verizon includes youtube live stream. I was happy to hear this and couldn't wait to try it out. Well once you click on the live stream icon in the camera it asks you to sign into youtube, which I do and then the darn youtube window/app comes up on the camera and it prevents you from starting the live stream. How do you close out the youtube window once you sign in for the live stream on the camera app?
My Galaxy S6 was one of the loudest phones I've owned. Its still loud but only when listening to music or watching YouTube, every other app isn't as loud anymore.
For example, I got a music game, when I listen to the song from the music player its perfectly loud, when I listen to the same exact mp3 in the game its no as loud anymore like it use to be.
Is this a known bug? is there a fix or update coming to address this?
PS: I noticed this RIGHT AFTER the 5.1.1 update (on verizon) before every app in my phone was loud
I have two Galaxy 5 phones - one downloaded and installed the AT&T update fine. The other downloaded the update, then rebooted to install, which it started to do, but five or so seconds into it, it stopped and went directly to the home page with no install. OF course, now I have to wait another 24 hours to re-try the download (and whoever came up with THAT i24-hour thing should be fired). Is there a way to just directly install what was downloaded without having to wait the half-hour or so it took to download?
Soon, I will install lollipop update on my samsung galaxy s5 smartphone. I know there's lots of comments about the insulation someone well some didn't go well. I'd like to make the installation as smooth as possible. What are your recommendations for moving from Android 4.4. For to lollipop. I had TouchWiz when I got the phone, but I wanted Google now. There's many differences, especially in the apps menu. Will that make a difference in insulation? Are there any other changes I should make before the update?
I'm considering to buy the Samsung galaxy s6. today I have the s2. I have a big problem with the s2 - I don't have enough space to update and install applications.my question is if I want to avoid this problem with the s6, do I have to buy the 64gb version, or will the 32gb version would be enough? I don't need much space for pictures, songs etc.
Anyways I received the AT&T update today and I tried to install it, however i got a pop up saying the installation failed. I currently have my s6 edge rooted.
My 6p was stock rooted using the "old" method with modified boot image (i.e. not systemless). I manually flashed the 6.0.1 update and apply superSU 2.62 (i.e. systemless root). The youtube app worked after the first boot, but when I rebooted the 6p the youtube app no longer works -- I kept getting "Please check your network connection". I uninstalled the app, clear app data/cache but to no avail. I even reflashed 6.0.1; again, the youtube app worked in the first boot, but no afterwards.
I've been on wifi all the time, and I could watch youtube from my browser by going to m.youtube.com (and use adobe flash).
Everything else works after the 6.0.1 update. I really don't want to have to do a factory reset.
Thumbnails are working, everything is loading fast, its just that the video wont load. All my other apps work perfectly. It will just stay at the black screen with the circle in the middle.
This happens without me even using the app. In fact I think it only happens when I'm not using the app. Is this a know issue with the app and the S6? I'm on AT&T carrier.
I am wondering why my youtube app wont update for the last 2 weeks ... it keeps giving me error 501 and saying youtube cant be installed. Tried disabling , clearing all android stuff , and uninstalling , and nothing seem to work. Also one more problem with the camera video sound.
Every video i make , will only give output through one earbud when i plug them in. Its only with the video recording. Rest works perfectly fine , even the voice recorder.
On my samsung galaxy 5 phone and on galaxy tabs, Youtube use to have a little icon representing the tv that if you pressed it, could transmit it to my vizio tv. Within the past month or 2, that has disappeared. Is this something that has changed with a recent youtube app update or samsung firmware update.
I've only had my GS5 for a month and so this is my first time trying to upload my videos to YouTube. And it's not working.
I am in the gallery, on the video I want to upload, I tap on the share symbol, I select YouTube and then write a title, description and choose options. I then hit the upload symbol. It then goes to my list of uploads and shows the video I'm trying to upload at the top, but when I tap on it, nothing. When I tap on the 3 dots to the right of the thumbnail, it gives me the option to cancel download. But it's not really doing anything! I let it sit like that for over 5 minutes and nothing changes.
I've also tried doing it the opposite way and tapping on the upload option in YouTube, but that does not even give me an option to upload from my gallery which is super weird. It only allows me to choose from downloads.
I'm not sure if YouTube got updated but I used to be able to listen to videos in the background without having to be in the YouTube app but as of today I can no longer do that. Did you YouTube removed this feature?
I get a YouTube video in my news feed and when I click on it, it opens and tries to use the system video player to play the video. Which has a cappy resolution. It doesn't give me an option to open with YouTube like my old note2 did.
I just got my S5 yesterday. When viewing a video in YouTube, the video will ALWAYS hang at 30 second intervals (not exact, but close). Pull up any video, hit play, everything is fine and stutter-free, but then at 30 seconds the video freezes (audio continues). If I move the timeline position cursor, the video continues again, but will freeze up again after another 30 seconds. It does this every time without fail.
The specific solutions (the few that seem to work for the person posting) don't apply to the S5).
I rooted my device on 5.1.1 with odin insatlled some things like flasher to flash twrp but after i tried to install freedom (in app purchses app) there was a messege "google play stopped wprking" i rebooted and everything was ok i tried another version of freedom and now google play and youtube say "no connection".....
So i recently found out how to change the video quality on youtube... but is there anyway to make a default setting for it? Rather than having to change the setting on every video...
I listen to a great deal of podcasts, audiobooks and music on youtube. Oftentimes I want to work and listen at the same time, so I will put my phone in my jacket/pants/table while I work, but sometimes I will bump the screen while working and it stops the YouTube video or makes it jump ahead/back.
