View 3 Replies View RelatedE72 Transfer data from phone memory to memory card. where are the settings so that all my data gets saved automatically on my memory card?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem that my E5 keeps telling me it is out of memory, to the point where it has become unusable. I've deleted applications and messages, but it seems to keep filling up and either tell me memory is low or that it is out of memory.
Options -> Memory -> Phone Memory tells me that there is over 200MB in 'Other Files', but File Manager doesn't show them and neither does the file explorer I downloaded from the Ovi Store. So I have no idea what can be taking up all the space...
I don't seem to be the only person with this problem, and since I've deleted as much as I can I don't see how it can be my fault! I am getting so frustrated with this phone
E71 says not enough memory but when tried to delete some data, its still the same. Tried restore factory settings and still the same. I can no longer change the settings of my phone book, last name first.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I've tried to update the software (maps 3.1 + Python2.0) on my E52 via the software updater on both the phone itself and the Nokia PC Suite but it doesn't want to do it, despite the fact that I have 14GB (!) free memory on the sd card and also sufficient internal memory. It gives the message: 'Not enough memory for update. Delete soms data and try again.'
I have the latest firmware update. Does anyone know a fix?
I have about 170 -190. Need to know if it is abnormal cause recently my background running applications like Gravity have been simply closing down silently.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E71 and according to Nokia Suite the phone has very low memory remaining. About 3.95% I think. So far I have eliminated:
-Messages
-Photos
-Videos
-Contacts
-Calendar
-Tasks
-Email
-Maps
-Apps
Can anyone else suggest what could be taking up so much space? I have gone onto the phone in Windows Explorer, and while that confirms the low memory I cannot find a file taking up so much space.
New E7, latest firmware, my first day of playing. Loaded about 7G of music on to the mass memory. Mass still had 7.2G free. Then I deleted the music files, however I still have only 7.2G free, according to both the File Manager on the E7, and to the MAC I connect via USB. Cannot see anything which is using much memory at all. I wonder if there is a hidden trash file? Also, is there a way to see file and directory sizes using File Manager? Very nice phone, but a bit of a learning curve - trying to wean myself off a Psion 5mx and a 10yo Nokia 6210.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI wasn't able to back up all my information via PC Suite as the connection kept going, so I backed it all up to my memory card. The phone is now working OK (including connecting to PC Suite) but I can't see the option to restore the information (calendar and contacts) from my memory card to my phone. I know it should be in File Manager, Memory Card, Options, but the option simply isn't there- I can either remove my memory card, or back up my phone to the memory card which as it has no information on it I don't want to do!

View 1 Replies View Relatedoption for expanding internal memory in the Nokia E50 mobile.I have around 70MB of internal memory(in that I have used around 35MB for installations & Contacts & Messages). If I browse something like yahoomail then it is working fine.if I open some sites which consumes more than 1MB then I am getting an issue like "memory fill close some applications" So I am willing to expand my internal memory in my phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've tried everything I can think of including a hard reset (volume down, camera, menu and power) and re-flashing with Ovi-Suite. And I still can't access the mass memory. It won't show in windows and if anything tries to write to the mass memory it will throw up the error 'mass memory in use'.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia E71 (it's black so it may be an E71x, I guess) keeps giving me out of memory errors. I use my phone for nothing but voice calls, text messages, and emails. I have cleared all call logs, deleted all emails except 5 (they have no attachments) and cleared deleted emails, and deleted all text messages. I went into file manager and made sure there are no images, videos, etc. on the phone. I set up options to use memory card for emails. I've turned the phone off, waited 15 or 20 seconds, and turned it back on.
I did all this a couple weeks ago. Ever since then. every couple days I get these out of memory errors, and the phone memory shows me 119 MB used and something like 300K free. I'm at the point where every few emails that come in, I have to delete all emails, erase all text messages, etc. or the phone is just too low on memory to operate. I don't have any additional applications installed. I've even tried to delete built-in apps such as RealPlayer but it didn't seem like that was possible.
My E72 has been oddly sluggish of late, without me having made any changes at all. Just now I checked the phone memory in File Manager. Have deleted absolutely everything superfluous in Phone memory except anythign system-related of course.I am also constantly getting this flipping message, whether accessing mail or not.Website has sent a certificate which is out of date." with the option: Accept anyway? > Accept this time only or > Certificate details (which are basically) imap.mail.ovi.com ... ... valid from 29-08-2011)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just bough a Lexar 32GB class 10 Micro SD card that I am trying to use to replace the current 8GB class 4 card in my Nokia E72. I am trying to copy the data that is on the old card over to the new card. I have used the Nokia suite to make a backup and then resort that back up to the new card but then some of my apps are not there. I have also tried to copy the conents of the old card to the my computer using a card reader and then copy this to the new card (inclusing all hidden files, using Windows Explorer). This gets me more apps back but not everything. So, what is the best way to upgrade the memory card an keep all the data?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo my Nokia E71 got **bleep**ed up and Straight Talk replaced it. I put my old memory card into my new phone. Whenever I turn it on it starts to install something... then ends up saying "Untrusted software on memory card. Go to application manager to install"There are old apps I had installed on my old phone in the app manager that I can't remove, and I think this may be the problem. when I try to remove them it says it failed. I can't see those apps in the OS or use them. They just appear as installed in the app manager. What do I do??
View 1 Replies View Relatedrecently a message appeared on my e52 saying memory card was corrupt,so i bought a new one.the phone now says theres is no card.i have no option to format card in file manager.i also hard reset the phone and all that done was stop the camera from working, which seems to have happened to a few other people in here.nothing that ive read has worked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk, so my E63's voice receiver had broken and i just bought a new E71. I had fully backed up my content on the E63 via the "Nokia Suite".
I then started up the new E71 and configured it, i removed my 8GB memory card from the E63 which was working perfectly and placed it into the E71, i go to encrypt the card on the E71 and receive this message " Key not matched to this memory card, memory card cannot be used ".I ignore the fact that i cannot acess my music on the memory card, so i restore my files from the E63 on the E71 via the Suite, i then receive the message that only 'part' of the backup was completed because it cannot fit the rest because there is no memory card or it is not in place. How do i receive my music via the memory card that was on the E63 and use the card on the E71 and finish the rest of my backup?
my e63 keeps showing the error message 'phone memory full'.file manager says that 119mb are in use, but i can't 'see' the files that are taking up all this space.i've deleted surplus applications like Internet - but could someone possibly suggest how to free up more space? i don't think it's being taken up by emails or text messages (121kb) either.i would prefer not to format the memory, just delete whatever is taking up the 119mb.
