Dec 2, 2011In the future I might want to share my SIM between my C7 and a Nokia Lumia. MicroSIM is a must with Lumias so is MicroSIM compatible with C7?

The existing Adobe has no Share functionality and it is literally impossible to attach a pdf file stored in the phone while composing a mail. I urge Nokia team to come up with an app as Adobe seems to be least bothered about Win Phone.

Nov 19, 2012So got the Tmobile 810. Have been using unlocked Nokia phones (Symbian) till now and use JoikuSpot to share internet on as needed basis. Not very often, but good to know it is there when needed.
Now when select Internet Sharing to ON, asks if want to activate that feature in my plan. Is there anyway to bypass this or to get another app to do this .. like JoikuSpot ?

Jan 11, 2015When I take a photo and share it directly from the camera or photo app via email, the file size is always being reduced to ~300kb?
How can I send the original file (~1-2MB, the 5 megapixel version, not the 35 megapixel version...)
Also, isnt it better to use the windows camera app (smart cam), over the lumia pro cam, if you dont need the 35 megapixel raw pictures and if you are fine with the auto setting (no need for manual adjustments)?
- Any other reason for the lumia pro cam app?
- How can I switch the camera button to start the smart cam app, not the pro cam app?

Nov 22, 2011I have prepared a route, on Nokia Maps online, which has 22 waypoints plus the start and end point (that's the maximum number of points Nokia Maps online supports). It's a very long route in Brazil: 8.340 Km long. As the route is saved to my Favorites, I can easily see it on any browser when I click on the corresponding favorite name.
But I simply cannot share this route, and I'm very sad about it, because I prepared the route with the intention to share it. When I click on the route's share icon on my Favourites and paste the short link to the browser, I get the errror: "Oops, something went wrong. Please come back later.". This happens on any PC web browser.
Here's the short URL I'm supposed to use for sharing this route: What's going on here? It seems to be a bug of Nokia Maps code or a bug of the URL shortener. I suspect the most on the URL shortenere, as the route has 24 waypoints. But then again, if Maps supports routes with 24 waypoints, the URL shortener should also support it.
If there's any Nokia representative here, could I have a way of contating the support theme in order to follow this up?
I've attached a screenshot of the route on the map, as there's no sensitive data on it.

Peculiarly it seems to send at least 10 copies of every image.I'm watching it do it right now - uploading goes up to 100%, shows just one picture uploading. Mar 11, 2012I performed updated from Anna to Belle today for my girlfriend on Nokia C7. I synchronized contacts, calendar and notes via iSync on my Mac OS. After update all messages are erased and she had important information there. I read in trouble shooting, that:: What should I do if the automatic restore of my phones content doesnâ work after I did the update to Nokia Belle and I dont see my contacts, calendar, bookmarks, etc.?A: The backup of your phone content is stored under C:Users[username]DocumentsNokia SuiteBackups and includes "Nokia_Belle_Update" in the filename. If the automatic restore doesn't work, you can try to restore your contents manually by opening the "Tools menu" in Nokia Suite and selecting "Restore".
I installed Ovi Suite on Mac and downloaded extra support for C7, but I couldn't restore that information. She never installed Ovi Suite on her PC. My question is: is she installs Ovi Suite for PC on her laptop, will she be able to restore old messages? I recently switched to Belle as well on my Nokia N8, but I'm not that crazy about old messages, so I haven't noticed it. I checked on my phone using Files disk C, but there wasn't any folders with my username.

Dec 9, 2012Cant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.
