BB Curve :: Can't Transfer TEXT Messages From It
Jan 10, 2012I sent a similar message about 50 min ago but included a typo which said test messages instead of text messages.
I received some text messages which includes photos on my bb curve 9360 and cannot find any way to copy the photos from the text messages onto my pc. Alternatively, If I could only find out how to transfer these photos in the text messages to the camera sections photos on the bb. When I connect the bb to the computer and utilise the bb desktop sw I can see the photos from the photo media section on the pc but not the photos in the text messages.

Jan 27, 2010I upgraded from a MotoRazr2 V8 to a BlackBerry 8900 Curve so I wanted to transfer my data from the Moto to the BB. Well, I learned that Moto doesn't play nicely with Mac so my MacBook Pro was not much of a help. I had better luck with my HP running XP and managed to get the contacts switched without too much trouble.
The SMS records are another matter. I couldn't find a way to transfer them using BB Desktop Manager so I made a text file copy of them into a Windows folder I created. Two actually - one for inbox and one for sent items. Now I can't find a way to load those text files onto the Curve. I've tried every way I could think of using Desktop Manager but no dice. I would love a solution that does not require buying more software.

Feb 21, 2010What is the best program to get your SMS messages off your iPhone and on to your computer? I have not had much luck finding one that actually works. I really just one to be able to save one conversation, but it is very lengthy (spanning back a couple months). Anyone know of any good programs for something like that? I am using an iPhone 3g and a new macbook pro.

May 29, 2012I like to keep my message app fairly clean, but I have a few long long conversations which I'd like to keep if possible, instead of just wiping them all clear. I was wondering if there is any way to back these messages up somewhere (say on my PC) so that I can read them at a later date if I wanted to?

Nov 29, 2015I just purchased a new Nokia Lumia Icon as an upgrade for my very well used HTC Trophy. I was able to use the 'Transfer My Data' app to move my contacts over, but the app was only able to copy my oldest 500 text messages over.
Is there any other way to transfer all text messages over, or for the 'Transfer My Data' app to transfer the newest 500 rather than the oldest 500? I'm on Verizon if that makes any difference.
